Lambton Pool reviews
65It has overpriced food at the Kiosk and I had to wait more than 2 hours to get my food there. Overall, below average enjoyment.
What a sensational swim center for young kids. Several pool options which range from a nice shallow baby pool to a deep diving pool and a few other depth pools in between for you to take your pick. Waterslides for the big kids and a water feature for little toddlers and kids to play around. My 15 month old loved it. Great affordable day out for the family. Lovely helpful staff. Locker hire! Lots of shaded areas. Note that parking can get tricky during peak times.
The slide is very fun but there is food all on the floor around the place. The canteen is good.
This is a great facility, however, it lacks general maintenance and cleaning. It would be great to see the middle pool cleaned on a regular basis. The step entry to this pool is filthy with dirt and debris and even though the water looks clean, once you are in and swimming, you notice how much dirt and debris is floating in the water. Come on NCC, surely, with the amount of people that use the pool on a daily basis, and pool entry fees, council can afford a pool cleaner/ maintenance person not just for the grassy areas but where it matters most, the water!
For those of us with compromised health issues, this matters alot!
Good range of swimming activities such as swimming lessons, water slides, water polo and a water fun park.
Thank you Newcastle council for having the foresight to build such a facility all of those years ago.
Awesome. Love it every time we go there. I'm sure we will see u plenty more times between now and the end of summer
Great staff. Great facilities. A little expensive to get in with a family but if you plan on spending a few hours there, totally worth it. Swimming school is fabulous.
I love this pool.my daughter always picks this place if given a choice.the food and drinks r a little over priced tho
Nice outdoor swimming pool, 50 m long adult pool and quite a few children attractions, reasonable price, open till 7Pm in summer. Lockers available.
Expensive and would have been nice to know in advance that the main pool was booked for a school carnival.
Great place for kids.
Choice of pools for little ones up to adults
allso a diving pool plus a msssive water slide.
Plenty of grassed areas to have a picnic.
Coffee shop plus a canteen selling hot & cold food&cold drinks.
Watched grandson in his school carinval.
Highly recommend.
Good, friendly environment. Pools and services are kept clean. Staff could be a little bit more assertive with patrons to keep the overall safety (reminding them not to push people into the pool, for example). Floating jumping castle should have its own charge, instead of combining it with the slide. Good family fun.
Nice Pool, Nice Staff. Unfortunately the parking is crazy. Good place to hang out with friends and swim carnivals at
Great for the kids. Great facilities. However, at times very hard to have a swim due to swim clubs, regulars etc.utilising all lanes and pools. I believe it is more likeend t o a private pool than a public pool sadly.
Nice single ride for people to enjoy. 3 step diving place as well as 10 row swimming pool. Kids can have swimming class too. Only regret is very busy when schools are coming over to have competition.
The pools themselves are pretty well maintained and there's a size and depth for everyone. The waterslide is a heap of fun and for such a hot and busy day the staff did great job a keeping things flowing.
Best to take your own packed lunch as the food available is all pretty unhealthy. Get in early as the car park is too small to keep up with the demand. At 9: 15am it was already over full.
Awsome waterslide and play area. Pools are clean, well maintained. Very reasonable admission price as well as food and drinks from the community centre run kiosk.
Good staff but the privately owned pool has sold out to many private events that take up most lanes at the pool at popular times. Management is a disgrace.
