54 Everything I was looking for. Only issue was staff. When I wanted help, the place seemed almost devoid of staff. I don't know if it's a case of no staff or running reduced numbers due to Covid. I was one of only a hand full of people in the store, so I don't out it down to too many shoppers.
Side note, it was the only shop in Kotara that requested to see my proof of vaccination, which seemed weird. Either the other retailers didn't care or JB cared a little too much.
Standard jbhifi. The customer service is ok, went to buy a phone outright and they started to question me. Who you with, what do you spend trying to sign me up to there deal. It was really off putting.
This is 100% one of my favourite stores in Newcastle, they have a large amount of pop vinyls that you can't find at other stores as well as basketball packs that are very to find in stores and very friendly staff
Amazing staff and a very easy to navigate store.i was served by a lovely girl by the name of Rachelle, who was very kind and helpful.
Made a purchase today, but you wouldn’t read about it thought i got wot I wanted n had a seat whilsed browsing the shoppe!
I wouldn’t mind a test burl on them trick digital scooters they’ve got coz me knees don’t have it in them like they used too & the chafe isn’t fun
Big thanks to the wonderful staff, James and Leon. I received very supportive help from James in the purchase of my new phone and when a challenging situation occurred, Leon was very helpful in assisting James to resolve the problem. This also unfortunately meant that both James and Leo stayed after hours to complete my purchase and neither made me feel rushed or an annoyance. They were both wonderful. I would highly recommend JB Hifi and James for any purchase
Doesn't have TVs or Stereo equipment. Had all the media and computers which is good for it's size, but the jb home in the Homemaker Centre is much preferable
Excellent service from Josh, very knowledgeable about his department and was very pleasant to talk to. Made my shopping experience very enjoyable!
Sooo many toys not enough monies ; (that said their prices are great. I know some of their wholesale prices and they guys give us a real bargain.
By far the only reason to venture inside Westfield Kotara is for this JB. Friendly service, knowledgeable and not too pushy.
Decent, however layout was a bit confusing- signs were not placed within clear view of each other leading to myself and a few others getting lost
Service was very presentable, my questions were all quickly and intelligently answered. The store was very clean and presentable. Just felt like I was being pushed towards higher end products when I didnt need the extra for my needs.
Staff are great but why on earth does jbhifi not have after pay. Literally loosing millions of dollars. I just got the item I wanted with afterpay like most ppl now. Buying vouchers with zip pay? Come on guys. Jus swallow the fees from afterpay and stop being so tight.
I had been experiencing trouble with my Samsung Galaxy watch setting up Samsung Pay and Samsung themselves were useless then I happened upon Bailey. WOW.he is very knowledgeable, courteous and extremely helpful. He went above and beyond to help me and he was successful in getting Samsung Pay to actually work on my watch when Samsung couldn’t. I am extremely happy and can not thank Bailey enough.
Bought a new phone in April and have had nothing but issues with it. Rang up to ask for advice, person on the phone was very vague and told me to come in. Went in and spoke to somone at telco, they were very uninterested in helping me and appeared to show no care for helping me. Very disappointed in the service, and the staff.
I am writing to express my appreciation for the young man in your store, I believe his name was Baillie. He was very helpful to myself and my elderly friend by assisting us to carry our purchase to the car. His customer service was exemplary and I wanted your company to know.

We purchased a HP laptop, for a BYOD, this laptop failed in the warranty period. We took it back to JB for repair, JB sent it away for 6 weeks, when it was returned after numerous follow up calls from us, it was not repaired. It actually had case damage that was not there prior to it being sent.
We took the laptop back in and resubmitted it for repair and now after 3 weeks it has been returned again unfixed.very disappointed in the service, although the staff were friendly, the actual service was terrible and we still have a $1700 broken laptop.
Further to that, JB have now told us to take it somewhere else to get it fixed properly.
Awesome store and staff, didn't have the product I wanted but we're very helpful and knowledgeable about it and offered to order it in.
Amazing customer service from Bryce (I think that’s his name!) on 1st of Feb. Went above and beyond to make sure I got what I wanted and needed and even when I forgot a receipt took it to the store where I work in the centre. Thank you for your kindness!
Waited for 15mins, had to go to the front desk just so somone would actually acknowledge I was there, then they told me the item I wanted was out of stock (rang prior to see and they said they had it).
