IKEA Warehouse Rhodes

We wrote to IKEA's complaints department. They never bothered replying. We have now written to fair trading.

Our experience buying an IKEA kitchen has been a nightmare. It's difficult to give a succinct summary as there have so many issues. The main issues involved has been: Lost items, delivery cancellations, incorrect items arriving, IKEA kitchen design team giving bad (according to our builder 'dangerous') design flaws. It has taken hours on hours of talk with customer service to get the kitchen finished (not done yet, three months in). Every time you call IKEA they have no clue who you are or what issues you've got, even if you're following up something they asked you to follow up.

If you want cheap items and a massive headache, go with IKEA. We are doing our bathroom now and we will NOT work with IKEA.

Click and collect and customer support are poorly setup. Automated communication is terrible. Waited a week to have my order cancelled despite their call centre promising me all was fine and in stock.

Unclear instructions as to how to cancel an order online. Lack of clarity and no one attended to answer quries after been waited for 40mins. Very disappointed and will never order online again.

Worst service ever for online purchases. There's been a discrepancy in my order. The amount I paid vs orders dispatched. I have called 4 times, been on hold for hours, customer service rep promised to call back after checking with finance team but no one called. It's been 4weeks. Again today, I was put on hold for hours to get transferred to finance team and they hung up on me. I have spent more than $400 and order discrepancy is for more than $70. It's really frustrating. I am now going to lodge a complaint with Fair trading. Did not expect this from a reputed company like IKEA. Highly disappointed!

Great system for click’n’collect, park in a bay and they deliver to your vehicle.
I ordered the wrong size table top (my fault) and they could not change that component of my order due to the store being closed for lockdown. I had to reorder correct size for click’n’collect and wait until lockdown is over to return the incorrect top.

Click and collect during covid lockdown is terrible. 2 hour wait. Surely Ikea would have predicted this storm of orders during lockdown?

So much to see and had to be careful not to get carried away with buying. I will definitely come back.

I liked my experience there, you can find the prices on everything so you don't need any help regarding prices, the store is big maybe too big, it kinda laid out like a maze, you get lost way too often, but nonetheless the place is great and you'll eventually find your way to the checkout

Love this Ikea, the location in Rhodes Waterside is so convenient with many other shops. So organised and easy to find things, displays are also very inspiring for home ideas. Love the restaurant and Swedish supermarket, the food is amazing especially the meatballs, cinnamon buns and $1 hotdogs. Never disappointed.

I often goto ikea in Rhodes.convenient parking and serve really good hotdog, meatballs and cinnamon rolls. Big and lots of stocks.

Really good for shopping furnitures for house/families. Food is a little pit over priced, might like to get more space for the dining area, as there’s a lot of people coming in. Overall, very good job.

I love Ikea's innovative ideas and designs. Staff are always happy to help and the restaurant is a nice stop for some Swedish meatballs.

Great furniture warehouse with good quality products at a reasonable price.
Now have lots of online facilities making it easier to choose the right product. Allow three hours plus the waiting time at the check out.
Restaurant and fast food facilities available for refreshment.

Great location easy to get to when you know the roads. IKEA has friendly staff and helpful they are too. Even their overflow pickup store is easy to get to and having friendly staff.

It's great for what it is supposed to be. A wide range of almost any furniture and stuff you might need at home. You should know the designs are different from what you usually see elsewhere and mostly simple styles. You should know what exactly you want and directly go to the section or be ready to spend more than an hour walking and browsing around. But I love the idea of seeing the samples arranged in the context of designed corners of a house. It gives you ideas what you may want for what purpose (and help them to sell more!)

Hate the psychological invasion that this place has. And please can you provide a logical indexed catalog.

As if you don't love walking around Ikea, and ending the trip with some meatballs, a hot dog, and a cinnamon roll.

Not to be confused with IKEA Rhodes, which is the actual store and a 5min drive away. This is the pickup location for certain items not stocked in the actual store. Fuss-free service.

Work customer service ever. I was struggling to lift a box and they where looking at me without moving a finger. Never again IKEA

Very quick service. By the time you pay at the store for your order and then drive here, they already have your order ready waiting for you to collect.
