IKEA Warehouse Rhodes reviews
112Awful delivery service. Delivery only called me once, I tried to answer, the call was hung up quickly. Then I received an emails and messages telling me the delivery was unsuccessful. Called client service straight away after missing the call, I was told the delivery should at least call me at least 3 times and ring the door bell, which didn’t happen. Then I was told by client service team that the delivery would come again before 7 pm on the same day. I called IKEA again after 1.5 hours to make sure the driver will come as I have been waiting at home. This time I was told that they were not sure whether the driver would come. Why should I waiting at home for the whole day for driver who didn’t turn up and wasting my time waiting for the call to be connected to client service? Why would I get confusing answers from different teams? So disappointed.
They dont freaking say sorry They dont freaking say sorry They dont freaking say sorry They dont freaking say sorry They dont freaking say sorry They dont freaking say sorry the worst trainee the worst staff the worst senior staff Nobody say sorry nobody even when they overcharged me I have to do a lot of extra work myself! Nobody said sorry to me!
IKEA Rhodes is a sick and paranoid establishment that is designed to confound and entrap you the moment you walk in. The security staff taunts and harasses you especially if you have been previously shopping at the shopping centre and come in with bags or boxes. They will stop you when you try to leave and treat you like a criminal and are not shy of making accusations and false allegations. They will use your personal data from membership to add your name to a black list and divulge that list including your photo to others. It’s a total disrespect for privacy, acting as judge, juror and executioner alone. I feel claustrophobic and panic ridden when I enter the store and for goodness sake’s, I won’t anymore. Get out of there.
After the above incident took place, this is the follow up and response from the Court:
“”” I am sorry to hear about your negative experience at Ikea Rhodes. It is disappointing to hear that the store's security staff treated you poorly and made false accusations against you. Privacy and respect for customers should be a top priority for any establishment, and it is concerning to hear that Ikea Rhodes failed in this regard.
It is also disheartening to hear that the security officer representing Ikea Rhodes made baseless claims and provided no evidence to support their accusations. This kind of behavior is not only unethical but also undermines the trust customers place in the store. It is important for businesses to treat their customers with fairness and integrity, and it seems that Ikea Rhodes has fallen short in this aspect.
Your review highlights the need for changes in Ikea Rhodes' policies and management. Customers should feel safe and respected when shopping at any store, and it is crucial for Ikea Rhodes to address these issues and improve their customer service. It is unfortunate that your experience has left you feeling claustrophobic and panicked, and I understand your decision to no longer visit the store.
I hope that Ikea Rhodes takes your feedback seriously and takes steps to rectify the situation. It is important for them to prioritize customer satisfaction and ensure that incidents like yours do not happen again in the future. ”””
DISABLED parking is always occupied by healthy, non permit, shameless young ppl, n management doesn't want to control this foul play n save disable ppl from mental n physical agony. Please we disable ppl request authorities to control illegal use of disable parking spaces by shameless ppl. Please take action
I love the room layouts that help you visualise things better but the way the store is laid out is like a labyrinth almost. It would be helpful to have a map - not just a sign that shows all the departments you'll have to go through to get to the one you want. Maybe they do have a map but I couldn't find it. A person with me needed to use the toilet and to get to them was a real challenge and then we needed to find our way back to where we were! It wasted a lot of time! My tip is treat it like a long trip (let's face it, we all spend a long time in Ikea when we go there ;-)
and go to the loos before you start LOL
Terrible delivery services, missed scheduled deliveries twice, products still not received. There was no communication for the missed deliveries until I contacted them both the times. Sleeping on the floor due to no mattress.
Excellent place for all your essentials home decor and festive items. One of the few things people might not be aware are the indoor plants they have. One of the best and cheapest selections of them are available there. Another lesser know area inside IKEA is on the right side just before checkout counter starts - the damaged/returned/faulty products are sold for dirt cheap prices. Make sure to have a look at it before heading out. Ample of parking space is available and the selection is good. Have often encountered the problem of low/no stock so the best bet would be to check online before leaving the house since click and collect takes days before you can actually pick it up.
I needed to return and exchange a poor quality item and the service is terrible. Long time waiting and service people not friendly. 1 hour for an a few dollars item. I couldn’t get in for exchange. Feel sad. Better to put it in the bin. They should separate exchange and refund people. Very slow. I need to go to work but have been waited for half hour. Had to wait so long…
Do yourself a favour and go to IKEA Tempe, even if it takes you another 20 minutes to get there you will save 30 mins in the car park. Good luck trying to get a spot in the ikea loading zone, I ended up on level 8. Never going back.
IKEA is big brand and have varieties of stuff and I am visiting them for number of years.
Their products quality is good for short term usage and not for long extended time though the claim for 5-10 years warranty.
Sometimes I found that their staff are bit busy and not professionals. I had interview with IKEA and they were much concern about people they hire but after meeting their staff I concluded that this myth. As their people sometimes in store not professionals and probably they cannot handle such pressure.
Being such big brand they need to work on their people and products to be more competitive in market.
Terrible experience with returns. Bought a rug and when we opened it, it gave off a foul smell that wouldn't go away. Tried to exchange it for another one and was given a gift card instead. Went to check and there weren't any of the same rug left. Went back to returns to get a refund. Find out cards are non refundable. Thanks for the wasting my time and money. Great scam.
Very slow service, took almost 60mins to organise a delivery!
I am not being overly entitled to expect the processing of a delivery to take less than 60mins.
We went shopping and as expected IKEA and it's well designed maze had us mesmerised.
The staff were great we had a crying child and they always turned around to help. Anything we needed there was always someone there to speak to.
The prices are competitive. Though I have recently discovered a few cheaper places, IKEA maintains its international standard no matter what city you're in.
It's a rabbit Warren. I like ikea, don't get me wrong but I can't stand the endless maze of trying to find your way around. Other Ikea's I've been to, the shortcuts are so much more obvious, this one seems to go out of its way to hide in an attempt to force you to walk the 15kms (I'm exaggerating for effect) through the entire maze. Ultimately, there are other and better Ikea's out there.
It's Ikea. So come with energy, stamina, and wear comfortable shoes! Weekends are very busy, but weekdays/nights are usually pretty low key. I love the displays showing different ways of styling the furniture pieces, and the market hall is full of useful (and useless) gadgets and goodies. I always enjoy Ikea, but coming prepared and patient is key.
Seems fine. No complaints. Gets insanely busy on wekeends in the middle hours of the day. Guess that was a complaint.
I have ordered quite a few things in mid September and still waiting for my parcel in November.don’t bother with online ordering. Better go and buy.
I tend to get lost quite frequently but after an hour or two I definitely find what I'm looking for
I love Ikea, used to visit the one back home almost everyday because it's near my previous office. I am surprise people don't know how delicious is Ikea Meatballs!
Had to chase 3 times for updates on an online click & collect order. Was told they were waiting on 1 item to get new stock, and they could arrange for me to collect those items available and cancel or deliver once the other item arrived.
As I was about to confirm with support team, my whole order was cancelled and refunded for 'not picking up on time'. IT WAS NEVER READY FOR COLLECTION!
Horrible experience.
