It absolutely blows my mind how a member of staff (sam the PT) can verbally assault me and get away with it. There should be no excuse for this behavior. I am so disgusted and will not return to a toxic environment where this kind of behavior is ok with management and when I say behavior, that is a total understament.

Was displeased buy a couple of incompetent staff. I called beforehand to ask if we could go to the pool and the lady said yes. When we arrived, after driving for half an hour, we were told the leisure pool was closed and we can't enter. So I asked the guys if my son could have a lesson, which I was happy to pay for. Nope they have to be prebooked (I can't prebook the next lesson? Or we can't go to one of the lanes- they didn't even bother to see if one of the lanes was empty). What a waste of time and very disappointing. If we couldn't go to the pool then the lady should have been clear from the beginning and the other staff should have tried to find a solution.

Have been using the gym facilities here for a few years now. Most staff are friendly, the guy with long dreds not so much.

Equipment is good however wished they had a hip abduction machine & a GHD machine also.

Female gym level toilets - there is always 1-2 & even a 3rd toilet that always needs cleaning/flushing. I suggest these get cleaned more regularly as it gets frustrating seeing them in this state every time I need to use the bathroom.

It would be nice if they heated the main pool a little more.overall clean facilities and the staff are always friendly.very busy though.recommend off peak hours, around 6 people in my lane in the mornings.

If you wish to have fun at a swimming pool, I highly recommend not going to Ian thorpe swimming pool, save your money and energy. I have been a member here for nearly 10 years now and I have never in my 10 years of experience had to deal with such rude stuff. First because of the covid 19 I canceled my membership here but after a few months I found out they are still charging me even though I was not even going there. I had a huge argument with them about it and it got revolved eventually, and then when the steam room and suna re opened the stuff always followed me around asking for a wrist band which I always had with me, they were not only rude to me but to other members there, so many other members were unhappy with the way the stuff is treating the people there, they keep threatening the members there they will close the suna and steam room when ever we have a complain about it, the maintenance is terrible, just for 2 minor issues which were the alarm in the steam room and the shower head they closed the whole steam room for nearly 2 weeks not only that but they still took the money for the suna and steam room from the members even though its closed, all they care about is closing the suna and steam room and suna to save and also to take money off the members there. People usually go to the swimming pool and sauna to relax, not to be stressed and deal with horrible stuff there. Absolutely disgusting and had horrible experiences there, very unprofessional stuff there.

The pool, sauna and gym are good but please be warned as the staff and Management are terrible! Lack of communication skills, NO customer service, Zero conflict management skills and the young staff members treat you with no respect. It's like a dysfunctional family! Please be careful when dealing with them as you will not find any help when conflict arises.

What do people want to know for. Just go there and find out for yourself. Isn't that what life is about.

Crackling on $32 pork belly was like rubber. The BBQ sauce on the pork ribs seemed to be store bought.

Great centre with great facilities. Many changing rooms and 3 pools (1 being Olympic sized).

Unlike Cook and Phillip, the lanes here haven't been separated because of COVID-19 which is really awesome.

The vast majority of regulars for the 50m pool come somewhere between 6.00am and 7.30am so maybe avoid those times if you're just looking to get a few laps in.

Though the facility has lots to offer and staff during the sign up process of a membership were fantastic.

They seem to struggle to answer the phone and then maintain contact. Today I called and asked for my member number and immediately the male who was speaking to me said "Actually we're busy right now. Call back in 15 minutes. " Then they hung up.

In future, It'd be better to NOT answer the phone if you are too busy to actually service a caller or to take down the caller's details to call them back at the earliest availability.

Apart from their phone manner everything else is pretty good.

Why is the gym closing at 4pm while the pool is open till 8 on Saturdays?
The membership fees have remained the same, but service has gone down. Please be consistent with your approach!

Customer service is just so terrible and unprofessional here.

Ryan, the guy who signed me up for membership, was extremely unprofessional and rude. He didn't welcome me at all and just threw me the papers to fill in my bank and personal details immediately when I asked about the memberships and then he went bank to the table to chat with other staffs while I had to fill in the papers while standing! Later on, I found out my address and details are all wrong online!

When I asked him if he could show me the gym and the classes, he refused to do so and just asked me to check on the website or come back later to check it (wow!). He shows no interest in signing up new customers at all. And the same goes with other staffs, while I was standing to sign up for my membership, they were all checking their phones and chatting while there was a line waiting at the entrance. When I asked about their wifi as advertised, the girl there replied: "Honestly the wifi here is the slowest ever so you better not use it"!

The staffs are so unprofessional and kept giving me wrong information on my swim lessons. The manager just ignored the mistakes that her staffs had made, and blamed me not understand the information in the email which was very misleading as well. I don’t recommend this place for anyone who wants to learn to swim. This place is just chaos.

Great stress reliever from work. Great facilities like a sauna, gym, kids pool and a lap pool. Great customer service setting up my membership on the spot. Highly recommend this place.

My partner and I have been members of ITAC for close to 9 months now and all my dealings with the staff have been friendly and pleasant. I particularly like that the gym membership includes access to all of the group fitness classes and that you're not charged extra for wanting to do classes on top of having access to the gym.

I've recently been attending the 6.30am hatha yoga classes run by Simon on Wednesday mornings and my partner and I are absolutely loving his class. I have noticed better flexibility since starting his sessions 5 weeks ago and have really enjoyed learning new poses, breathing techniques and practicing the sun salutations early in the morning. I always leave his classes feeling more relaxed, balanced and ready to tackle the day.

If there was an option in future to book in classes digitally/online instead of calling up, that would be amazing. Other than that, highly recommend:) Thank you ITAC and a special thanks to Simon for running our favourite class of the week.

Extremely rude and unprepared staff!
They really need training on how to deal with their customers. They’ve probably changed management or something.

Great place to swim and very good swimming lessons for little kids, instructors are usually good ones and you can have a swim while your kids are in lessons or go to the gym.food is a bit pricy and not so good.

Have been charged twice $39.30 I've canceled my membership ages ago they have charged me 5months after. I tried contact them - Guess what? No response. They ignoring me whole time. My review 1/10 as they charged my without my permission, and trying to ignore me whole time. So unprofessional!

Great pool and facilities and doors open out during the summer so air feels nice. Parking is usual cost around the area but bit cheaper if you park in the centre's parking lot. Being in the city it's always packed out during usual peak times but you should be able to find a suitable lane.

The pool is great but my experience with exiting my membership was not good. Even after giving a notice I was being charged and took months to get out of it. They did offer me a few days of free access (can’t recall) how many but I didn’t need that because I wasn’t going to be living there and hence would have never used it. Other than that the pool is good
