Not bad, except shower rooms are very limited, old, quite dirty and water pressure is the worst. Need more family shower rooms too. Management needs to pay attention to people's feedback and fix the shower pressure. They also need more seatings in the cafe. I really wish it could be better as my kids go there every week. It is hard to recommend to friends and families when the facilities are not great like that.

The pool area is small when the place is busy have to be mindful of others when swimming. And the last time we were here a kid spewed in the pool. Haven't been back since.

Very expensive for what you get. Pool is mostly closed most of the time for classes. Over crowded, filthy conditions, spas are outdated and bearly work, staff are rude and pick on people. I have lived in the area for over 30 years and i have watched this pool get worse and worse. My honest opinion, find another pool to go for a swim, there are plenty around.

+
- Initially, the overall use of entertainment for the slides, jets (for massaging), and the smaller pools was extremely fun and enjoyable.
- the teachers are helpful and motivational for swimming lessons
- The aquatic leisure centre provides safety, as for the pools for entertainment (not for lessons) there are trained lifeguards watching, and posters asking for specific ages to be watched by parents. (however, it isn't as strict, and reinforced towards the people or parents).
- With lower levels, there are smaller pools with their coach swimming with them to ensure safety and proper techniques.
- Some rules for the entertainment pools are fine, such as no running, no flipping and no rough play are great and if swimmers are caught breaking these rules they will be verbally told to stop.
- I enjoyed how also swimmers can swim in the fast, slow and aerobic lanes so it can energise them.

Negative:
- The bathrooms and showers are very unsanitary and unhygienic. It is extremely dirty involving wet tissue paper, mud and urine on the bathroom floors.
- There should be doors on the showers so swimmers will not feel uncomfortable and can take a proper shower by themselves or trying to clean their children.
- There should be more change rooms for people to privately dress up instead of in one cramped hall together.
- There should be more family change rooms.
- The showers should involve a higher pressure to allow the chlorine to wash off easily.
- Better enforced rules such as:
1) shower before swimming
2) Do NOT eat or drink near or in the swimming pool.etc.
3) Wear flip-flops or sandals when entering the bathroom.
These rules are somewhat found in the pools, but aren't truly manifested from the lifeguards, workers, coaches etc. Swimmers will not be able to become influenced within these signs without the influence of others.
-Diving is a major source towards swimming. However, swimmers aren't allowed to do this for fun or for lessons as lifeguards are strict on this.
For entertainment, I see why and I see the big image, however, when participating in a carnival, students must know what it feels like to practise diving and receive feedback from professionally trained coaches.
However, sometimes there are added diving blocks (but diving practicing should be more often- they are rare).
- The large pool for lessons should be deeper (the deep end), for diving and other activities. And if a low level must practise in the deep end then there should be some planks for them to stand on and coaches are in the water with them.

- Some people in the leisure centre, pools and café centres are extremely disrespectful and unfair.
Leisure centre and pools:
for the fast, medium, slow and aerobic lanes, when children or teens are practicing, I see adults and elderly cutting in front and skipping their turn, even though there are some children and teens who are actually practicing. This is always happening.
I also see (any age) people taking all of the lane instead of swimming on the left side. This is done when there are many people in the lane.
In addition, the use of slow, medium and fast lane is for the swimmer to categorise themselves in the lane they expect themselves to be. However, there are mainly infants and elderly (however there can be any age) who are swimming in the least crowded lane and affecting others who deserve to be in that particular group.
Also, the vice versa, as fast swimmers are in the slow lanes.
If possible, there should be an extra lane for elderly for their priorities.

Café: Even though that this is the cleaners job, people should just throw their own rubbish in the bin instead of on the tables, because other people would have to do it
A way to motivate this would be adding extra bins for a positivity.
The overall sanitisation is the major effect which is like a ripple. It gradually affects most things like entertainment, then health etc. Finally, this leads to negativity.
I've been here many times for lessons, fun and school trips, and these issues are majorly reoccurring.

Good place for kids swimming. We have swimming classes and we can swim on our own also. They get minimal money for 1 day spend. Kids will enjoy.

I scored this Centre with just two stars because of a very poor management.
I am a member of this Centre with an option to use the pools, the saunas and the spa.
Every day, no exception, I am reporting to the staff of the Centre an inappropriate usage of the saunas and spa.
As a member while entering in to the pool area I am getting a wrist tag or wrist band. Every day it is a different colour. This is a kind of a pass to the saunas and spa areas just for members only. Non members with no tag on their wrists are not allowed to use these facilities.
But, every day the saunas and spa are full with non members, mostly people with an asian apperiance. They do not care and do not have any shame while using these facilities.for free.
Every time I am reporting the issue to the management I am getting an answer that the staff is checking these areas every hour.
It is not enough. I am a local citizen and I have been using this Centre for many years and remember years ago it was a door separating the pool area and the saunas. Only the members were allowed to enter there.
I know all people using the facilities of the Centre are valuable customers, but why the members need to pay more for using extra services oposite some "very smart" ones paying just the entrance and having the pleasure as members?

A big aquatic centre with a nice gym. Staff are friendly and people are very friendly and courteous with one another. I was ready to have a shower but all the cubicles were full at the time. The lady saw that I was waiting and quickly finished up in like 10 seconds and offered me to use. Love the Hurstville community

Great facilities but patrons from certain ethnic groups are not very educated in term of using public toilets and the saunas.

Very disappointing. They told me to book on specific hours for my kids and now they told me that the kids cannot attend. The Team has no management.

Good exercising classes, good how there is a food and drink bar (quite expensive), and exercise rooms. Pools do contain a lot of chlorine as smelt throughout the entire centre; probably the most chlorine infested centre I've been in. The slides are good - small warm indoor slide and freezing cold long outdoor slide. Pools may sometimes contain unwanted materials such as refuse or hair. Lap pools are quite shallow with the deepest end being 1.40m. I think that 2.0m would be a reasonable depth for all types of swimmers.

Been going here for years to play basketball and soccer. Very cheap to hire, friendly staff, and a good atmosphere. Plenty of parking inside and undercover.

Change rooms are dirty after 5pm.
Overcrowed sauna, spa & steam room
Spa has only 1 or 2 good jets working.
Very disappointing.

Nice place to cool down although I wish the water was a bit warmer, for a heated indoor pool it doesn't feel very heated. Expect to pay just over $20 for a family pass but you need to show your Medicare card!

Don't like the whole area. Found that the place is dirty. Saw a few swimmers didn't wear proper swim wear yet can still be inside the pool. Notice most of them didn't rinse/clean themselves prior using the pool. Not hygienic.

Nice place for the kids to swim! I just wish there were some decent hyrdoslides and a deeper pool for the adults.
