Hunter Valley Visitor Information Centre

There was 6 of us that went to have breakfast i put my order in and then they said their not taking any more orders as they where to busy so I cancelled my order so we where not happy at all cant believe that

Absolutely disgusting service we had a family of 6 and was told it will be 30min wait which we was happy to wait but after they took the first order they refused to take anymore orders from our table so we left we are local to Cessnock and i will not return not recommended at all as we where walking out they where taking orders terrible customer service especially for local people

Very helpful, I've been twice in the last month. Once to buy some local produce as Christmas presents and then 2nd we had planned to go to the cafe (which was closed) but they were helpful in telling us what cellardoors were booked out that day etc.

Geoff was incredibly helpful, he even circled cellar doors near our hotel that would be open on boxing day. Should be everyone's first stop in the Hunter

We again visited the Cafe here and again had a great time there. Nice coffee and food to have and was VERY PLEASED to see that you now have decent sized coffee mugs. A while ago I submitted a review and that was the only (minor) gripe we had, and very happy to see it rectified. Thanks guys, we are regular visitors and will be back again soon:)

By far the best information centre we have ever been to. Lots of local products and gifts in the shop. Definitely worth a stop even if you’re a local and the coffee shop is open again too! Big thanks to Alice, what fantastic customer service. Very helpful and had great suggestions of new places for us to try. She even made our reservation for lunch so we didn’t have to worry. We have not been to the Hunter Valley for a while and your advice was absolutely perfect. Great experience

Great setout centre with lots of information and an amazing range of gifts and products. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. We thoroughly recommend that you drop in here before you venture out to explore the Hunter Valley attractions and wineries. Excellent job. Loved it.

The staff were very friendly, with lots of information given about things to see and do in the Hunter region.

Love Dale café was very disappointing we ordered x2 Hot chocolate, Chicken curry pie with hot chips, x2 strawberry and nutella waffles and on the menu it says that all waffles are served with ice-cream. So I paid for everything and sat down at our table inside the Café. The girl only brouggt one hot chocolate to our table, so I waited for a while thinking that she would bring mine, nothing so I had to go to the counter and ask her where our other hot chocolate was. She replied sorry I forgot. Then they brought my chicken curry pie without the hot chips, and after that they brought our waffles without the ice-cream. Really come on and they weren't even busy, Café was empty only me and my husband. Please sharpen up your service.

A must pit stop to check what Hunter Valley has to offer. Lovely and helpful staff. Ready to suggest points of interest to visit.

Great rest stop with lots of maps and information on the Hunter Valley and vineyards. Food and coffee available from cafe too. A must stop destination for all your travel or holiday information on the Hunter Valley and surrounding areas.

Had lunch at Cafe, Was very nice and lovely staff, then bought some produce in the centre

We have been travelling around Oz for 4 years now. We have been to many info centres, with mixed results. This is one of the best, Melissa and the team were so helpful. They went above and beyond to help me with a dilemma. Mel also gave me some great new ideas about exploring the area.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff makes all the difference. If I own a winery in the area I will wow the ladies that works here.

Big thanks to Christine for helping us find our way around top sites in the Hunter. We arrived as a large group late on Saturday afternoon and Christine knew exactly where to recommend we visit. Outstanding knowledge of the area and best options for people with different interests/tastes! Thanks Christine!

Went there 1 week ladies bent over backwards to be nice and helpful.tasted wines and ciders and bought some to take home. Today got ice cold reception was told dont sell wines cant taste ciders so not sure what the go is here.

Helpful staff, lots of take-away information, plenty of parking, good facilities. Lovely cafe next door.

We called in to Cafe for a quick lunch. Big mistake. Firstly no Vegemite for a kids sandwich. Then the salad sandwiches my daughter and I ordered were both wrong and looked like a dogs breakfast. The young people working were less than friendly when I asked for a refund and just left the money sitting on the counter. We will not be back to the Cafe.
