Hunter Plastic Surgery by Dr Moncrieff

I had my breast augmentation with Dr Moncrieff today and let me share my experience:

(1) I’m a travelling patient coming from Brisbane and even though I’m 800km away the team at Hunter Plastic Surgery made everything so easy and seamless. The girls are lovely and were very quick to reply to emails and answer any questions or concerns I had. Dr Moncrieff gave me a call about a fortnight before my surgery and formally introduced himself over the phone. As soon as I spoke to him it completely confirmed that I had made the right decision in seeing him. He was so approachable and easy to speak to.

(2) The day before my surgery I had my first face-to-face consultation with Dr Moncrieff. Upon arriving at the clinic (which is absolutely gorgeous; so elegant, I felt like royalty) I was greeted by Alicia, who was so bubbly and kind. Again, Dr Moncrieff was terrific. He was empathetic and answered all my questions with patience and in terms I could understand. Before choosing to get surgery with Dr Moncrieff I was well aware of his credentials, but when speaking to him I could really tell he knew what he was talking about and that he had my best interests in mind. He was honest and upfront. He didn’t skirt around my questions and made sure I was fully informed going into my surgery which gave me even more confidence in him!

(3) I had my surgery at Lingard Private Hospital. Dr Moncrieff’s team of nurses and the anaesthetist, Dr Donnelly, were superb and eased any anxieties I had. I spoke to Dr Moncrieff before going into theatre while he was marking me up and he was again very caring and kind. He assured me that I would look great and I was 100% confident that he would make sure of that. Although nervous, Dr Moncrieff really made sure it was an exciting experience and being my first surgery, totally eliminated any fears I may have had.

(4) I’m only about 10 hours post-op, and naturally I’m swollen, but I already love my results. I cannot rate Dr Moncrieff enough, not just on his skills, but also his bedside manner, compassion and love for his job. It is so apparently that he really values and takes a genuine interest in each individual patient (which is also clear on his Instagram and website). He is a great man and I am so appreciative of how he has literally changed my life!

There’s not a single thing I would change about the experience at this stage (and I imagine it will stay that way) and I look forward to seeing what the next few weeks and months hold as I recover!

Dr Moncrieff truly is a magician. In fact I would go so far to say he is honestly my super hero. You won’t find another surgeon like Dr Moncrieff. He is honest, trustworthy, positive and also just a wonderful and kind man. He truly wants the best for his patients and I feel so beyond lucky to have had the privilege to be one of his patients. My experience with whole Hunter plastic surgery has been perfect. The team including practice manager Jessika, Kylie and nurse Alicia have all been so supportive and amazing. Behind Dr Moncrieff is a team of beautiful supportive women (including the main boss lady his gorgeous wife Amber). Hunter plastics surgery isn’t just a surgery it’s more of a family and I couldn’t recommend Dr Moncrieff and the team more highly! I had a BA with fat grafting and couldn’t be happier with the results it has changed my life and increased my confidence immensely.

6 weeks post op - Mummy Makeover Inc. Tummy tuck with muscle repair, breast reduction and lift as well as some Lipo.
I don't even know where to begin to express the enormous amount of gratitude I have.
Rapid weight gain before pregnancies and then again whilst pregnant, saw my weight escalate to a top of 130kg.
3 babies later and with a new found love of weightlifting, I sat comfortably at around 84kg (5'9) with a generous amount of muscle.
My tummy, inner thighs and breasts had suffered horrendously though my driving force to even enquire about a consult was my lack of core strength, sporadic sciatica pain and bladder control all associated with heavy lifting and the need for muscle repair. The aesthetic side was going to be the icing on the cake.
All the girls at the clinic have been such a pleasure to deal with. No question went unanswered, nothing ever seemed a hassle. They're all just wonderful!
Dr Nick himself is a beautiful man who has been amazing to work with.
Each time I've seen him, his demeanor has been just the same. Extremely professional but so kind and warm. I really can not speak highly enough of his mannerisms.
His surgical work is spot on, wow.
So soon after surgery and I look in the mirror in disbelief, this is my body now!
I can't wait to get back to training and really use it (and show it off too).
If you're on the fence about surgery or using Dr Moncrieff, do yourself a favour and at least book in for a consult.

The team at Hunter Plastic Surgery have been so inviting and lovely to deal with, I had a breast augmentation 1 year ago and love the results, so life changing. I also love how Dr Moncrieff, Jess, nurse Alicia as well as all the girls look after you post surgery and are there to answer any questions needed. 100% recommend Hunter Plastic Surgery.

To sum up my experience with Hunter Plastic Surgery and Dr Moncrieff in a short review is next to impossible.but here goes!

After extensive weightloss I was left a huge amount of excess skin across my body. I was extremely self conscious, insecure and embarrassed. After loads of research and basically reading the HPS website inside out! - I booked my initial consult. From my first phone call with Jess I was complete at ease and excited for what was to come! On the day of my consult the welcome from the team at Charlestown was so lovely and when it came to Dr Moncrieff, he was reassuring, kind, understanding and empathetic. He took the time to listen to my story and concerns and showed genuine care.

Fast forward through more pre-op consults, photos and chats with Jess and Dr Moncrieff (all of which made me feel so empowered and reassured that I was 100% making the right decision) and i finally got to experience my own piece of Moncrieff Magic! My surgery went perfectly and whilst I am still recovering I am so very thrilled with the results already! I’m extremely excited for my final surgery stage this year!

It’s hard to explain in words, but Dr Moncrieff has changed my life. He has given me the gift of confidence and helped me to recognise and appreciate what I have worked so hard to achieve. I feel so incredibly blessed and deeply thankful to the entire HPS team.

My advice? If you are at all considering HPS for your own journey.do it.book the consult and experience the genuine care, understanding, expertise and attention to detail that I was lucky enough to receive!

After a large amount of weight loss every time I looked in the mirror I was unable to see the body that I had always imagined. Dr Moncrieff seriously has the Midas touch and really does work magic. I took the plunge and had a tummy tuck done. The best decision I have ever made. My mental health and positive body image has been turned on it’s head. What was once a depressed and unhappy part of my everyday life has now evolved into confidence and a positivity that glows from me. I’m proud of the body that I have achieved. Dr Moncrieff helped to create the person I dreamed I would be. I could not be any more happy with my results and I encourage anyone that is thinking about having some improvements done to just simply do it. It will be the best decision you make.

I recently saw Mel Sestan, the cosmetic nurse at Renew Medispa. Mel was very thorough with her explanation regarding the process of injecting as well as possible after effects. I found Mel to be very professional, engaging and friendly. Mel achieved the results I was after and I can’t recommend her highly enough, noting that I had no after effects and felt very relaxed during the process with no discomfort.

What an amazing surgeon, amazing team, amazing results!
From my first visit for the vectra scan through to surgery day and my post op appointments, I was always made to feel important, understood and cared for.
I was a very small 10A with very little self confidence, especially in summer time, never fitting into anything and never feeling like a real woman, so after having my two boys, I decided it was time to feel better about myself and make a change.
I researched plenty of surgeons to find the best one and every time I kept coming back to Hunter Plastic Surgery, I just knew they were the right choice.
I am so thrilled I made that leap. I now have what I have always dreamed of having and I feel so much better and confident about myself.

I recently had a tummy tuck and breast implants with Dr Moncrieff after losing a huge amount of weight. I booked a consultation with Dr Moncrieff and I was a little nervous of the unknown, he was so lovely and down to earth he made me feel so comfortable. He explained the whole procedure and what to expect and that was reassuring for me. I then had a vector surgery simulator with Jess to see the size and shape before surgery. It was great! Of course I kept saying bigger bigger but Dr Moncrieff suggest no bigger then what I have and I’m so glad I listened to him because he is the expert in this field and my implants are perfect for my size. The whole process was great, all the staff where so lovely and helpful through my treatment and I’m already planning my next little surgery through hunter plastic surgery. Form the first time I went to Hunter Plastic surgery to see Jessica for a Vectra Scan, I was made to feel so welcome. Jess made me feel at home, she was comforting, understanding, and supportive, sharing her own experiences, which for me was a major tick. No one wants to be told they'll look great, and you'll be fine by someone who has no idea, or has never been through it.

Meeting Dr Moncrieff was no different. He was down to earth, honest, informative, and listened. We discussed what I was after, and went through options. I felt welcomed the whole time and was never rushed, made to feel I wasn't important, or an inconvenience which is often the case in medical offices. From my many emails and countless calls to Kylie in the office with silly questions, I was always met with a friendly response.

I have been blogging my whole experience online and have had many comments and supportive comments from The team at Hunter Plastic Surgery, including Amber, Nicks wife. They really make you feel part of the family.

After my surgery, Nick called in to see me every day when I was in hospital, and again, was always super friendly, and genuinely listened to what I had to say. His clinic Nurse Alecia called several times to see how I was doing, and was super helpful when I had what seemed like silly questions.

I was also lucky enough to have Lily attend my surgery, and take photos and video at my request. This has been great for my weightless journey blog, and for personal records.

In summary, I cannot recommend Dr Moncrieff and his team enough. I am 100% happy with my results, and the treatment I have received. This man truly is a magician, and is extremely talented at that he does. There are not enough words to express how Nick has forever changed my life, and for that I will be forever thankful.
