Hunter Plastic Surgery by Dr Moncrieff

I had the best experience with Dr Moncrieff and all his team. I had a Mummy Makeover, and was an extremely hard case and Dr Moncrieff performed his magic and I have never been happier. This is one of the best decisions I made for myself and I could not fault him or his team. Dr Moncrieff changed my life and I am forever grateful for his expertise and passion for what he does.

I am 7 weeks post op after my abdominal repair! I had a major separation of almost 7cm and a hernia. My belly button was a mess after having two beautiful girls both over 10pounds and I was left to look about 5 months pregnant even though my youngest is now 3yrs old. I couldn’t ’wear high waisted jeans or anything fitted. I had bladder control issues along with lower back pain.
I was so nervous about trusting someone to change me forever and took the process pretty seriously! I found Dr Moncrieff and his confidence and certainty assured me. I was scared about having a mesh implant and he educated me on the severity of my separation and being an active mother there was risk of a tear through without it. He took the time to explain the process which I really valued.
On the day I was extremely nervous. He marked me with pen and aimed to get the scar super low which I can cover easily. After approx 4.5 hours of surgery I woke up and it felt like a dream! 3 nights at lingard and then home with strict orders. Every day it is getting better. I still have swelling and the scar has another 12 months of healing until I see results there but overall I feel great!
Alecia who is the practice nurse is incredible. I won’t lie the scar overwhelmed once I saw it the first time but Alecia held space for my concerns and Dr Moncrieff cleared time to sit with me and calm my concerns. I see results every week and I begin to feel so happy with my decision. They are certainly a 5 star practice! Thank you

12 months ago I had my Surgery with Dr Moncrieff. Let me start by saying my breasts look great, natural and a good size for my body shape. The reason to why I am unfortunately unable to leave a 5 star review was due to a complication during surgery. A nerve in my left breast was nicked during surgery. This resulted in extreme pain, required hospitalisation for pain management at my own expense and prescribed with a nerve management drug. I was happy with the post care received It was just unfortunate my recovery took a lot longer than it should have. - Lauren

I recently had a breast Augmentation with Dr Moncreiff and it was the best decision of my life, I got them done after I had children and the kiddies sucked the life out of my breasts (I didn’t have much to start with anyway) but they destroyed them, as breastfeeding does sometimes.
I was highly recommend by one of the best plastic surgeons in Sydney who specialises in other fields of plastic surgery (I worked along side him in theatre) so I trusted his judgment,
The journey of making an appointment, having a vectra scan, having a consultation and having surgery was made so comfortable, the team from the receptionist to the managers to the Dr were so lovely and understanding and was done at my own pace,
I didn’t feel pushed and my voice was heard about what I wanted, the ball was completely in my court!

I took the leap of faith and had surgery and wow best decision I made,
So if your like me always looking at these before and after photos and wishing it was you that looked like that, make a call go for the vectra scan and experience it for yourself it’s the best decision I have made for myself.

From start to finish my experience with Hunter Plastic Surgery was incredible. Such an amazing team who made the journey to surgery so easy. They were able to talk me through the procedure, reassure me and answer any of my questions I emailed through or called with. While I’ve been talking about a reduction and lift for years, I’m so glad I waited till I found the perfect practice to do so. 24 hours post surgery and I can already see the amazing results from Dr French- it’s everything I wanted and more. I can feel my back and neck in less pain and my posture straighten up. Every step of the way leading in to the operating theatre Dr French kept me informed in what he was doing and why. He explained the procedure in fantastic detail and I went in feeling incredibly calm and not at all nervous. I started the journey in February of this year and it’s been incredible from the moment you walk in you feel so comfortable the staff are absolutely amazing. The first stage was the scan with Alicia, she knew her stuff and didn’t make you feel awkward at all especially since my chest was small with very prominent ribs Alicia knew what would suit me best and when through the procedure and stages. The next was the appointment with Dr Moncrieff, the way he explains what will be the procedure the size of the implant what suits your body type, the fat grafting procedure to go with the implant was five star there, I knew I had the right surgeon. My surgery was scheduled for the 30 March for a breast argumentation and fat grafting on the Wednesday before that’s when all elective surgery was cancelled due to COVID 19. I was so disappointed and devastated but knew it would happen eventually. The staff kept you informed every time something was announced and as soon as it was lifted I was one of the first surgery’s back. On the 26th May my surgery was done as soon as I walked in the hospital in these times in COVID (which i think was more nerve raking) Dr Monicrieff made me feel as ease as well as the staff there. A few days after surgery I contacted the surgery which I spoke to the office staff as I felt breathless the nurse Aleica contacted me straight away and reassured me that is normal as you have so much extra weight on your chest the anxiety was gone immediately they contacted me to follow up all the time which is amazing. They are always there to answer any questions and you don’t feel stupid at all. 6 weeks post surgery and I know I’m still on my journey but I can’t praise hunter plastic surgery enough. Dr Monicrieff and the staff there are absolutely amazing and finally after 20 years of waiting my dreams are becoming a reality.

From the moment I made my initial consultation for the 3D Vectra Simulation for a Breast Augmentation with Jess I felt so confident and excited about the process. I loved being able to see a physical image of what I may look like Post Op. It has now been nearly 6 months since the surgery and I am over the moon with the results.
