Happy with my results and experience here. Wouldn't go anywhere else. And I'm the most unlucky person I've ever met, so dr moncrief really worked his magic haha.

I originally enquired about surgery with Hunter Plastic Surgery in May this year, from the first phone call with Jasmine I instantly felt welcomed and supported. During my initial consult with the lovely Assistant Practice Manager Alicia she gave me comprehensive information about the procedure I was intending on having and what to expect.

I proceeded to book a consult with Dr Moncrieff and was blown away from his compassion and his knowledge. He was very clear on what I could expect my results to look like and gave guidance on what else I could do the achieve the result I was after.

I am now 4 weeks post op and can honestly say he has exceeded my expectations thus far, Dr Moncrieff truly champions for his patients (whether that be in his rooms, or on a Sunday when they need him in the hospital) and for that I will forever be grateful.

Special mention to Nurse Leecy, Nurse Michaela & Emma who have previously and continue to provide excellent post-op care including dressing changes, phone calls with any concerns and even emotional support.

Hunter Plastic Surgery has changed my life!

I highly recommend anyone considering surgery to book a consult and meet the team yourself! After my gastric sleeve, I knew that I would be wanting and needing excess skin removal and I started researching early to find the perfect fit for me. Being from QLD, I was searching locally but wasn’t finding a surgeon that I wanted to commit to; I had questions about procedures and wasn’t feeling confident that I had found a surgeon who shared my goals. After seeing Hunter Plastic Surgery appear a few times during my search and after following them on Insta, I booked a flight to Newcastle!

My first consultation was with Jess, their amazing practice manager. She talked me through the different surgeries I was interested in and their recovery timelines. The next day I met with Jess and Dr Moncrieff, and it was such a positive experience. They are incredibly professional and I felt like they really listened and wanted to support my goals in having a body that I could feel healthy and confident in. Hunter Plastic Surgery values body positivity and I felt so encouraged and supported from every member of their team; I knew I wanted them to be part of my journey!

In July 2022, I had an abdominoplasty and a breast reduction and uplift. Dr Moncrieff advised a staged approach to my full body lift to allow time for healing and for me to able to get to the best results for my body after mass weight loss. Before and after surgery, the HPS nurses are awesome and are always ready to help with any questions and post op dressing changes; honestly checkups become something to look forward to. When you’re not feeling your best during recovery, it’s the little things that make such a difference!

Four weeks ago I flew back down for a bilateral arm lift and back lift. It was so great to see the HPS girls in person again before surgery, and Dr Moncrieff worked more of his magic in surgery! The results are life changing to me, and I can’t thank the team enough! Going through these surgeries is tough, but having confidence in your surgeon is so important and I am so thankful for Dr Moncrieff and HPS. Once this surgery is healed, I can’t wait to be back for stage 3: thighs!

I have had my breast implants done here and also visit the medispa for cosmetic injections both are absolutely amazing. Very professional. The Medispa Nurse Is so gentle she is the best I have ever had.

I highly recommend Dr Moncriffe and his fantastic team. After having gastric sleeving and losing a significant amount of weight, I was left with loose skin around my abdomen and was experiencing infections. I'm so pleased with the look of my new tummy, and also, after recovery time, I'm much more comfortable and haven't experienced any more infections.

After booking in for a 3D Vectra Simulation with Practice Manager Jessica, I was so impressed and thankful for her honesty and her professionalism. She made me feel so welcome and comfortable and I recommend everyone to see her. I also have injecting with Nurse Mel and I am beyond happy with my results. Nurse Mel is absolutely amazing! She is professional, friendly & her knowledge, experience and skills are outstanding.

In my 20's I was told my a cosmetic Doctor at an injectables clinic I will never be able to get rid of very deep lines in my forehead ageing me terribly and causing terrible headaches due to extremely strong muscles. I met Mel and have never looked back the headaches are gone and the deep ageing lines consuming my face have gone with them. All thanks to Mel's knowledge and skills. After years on hormonal birth control and the depo injection, I had a tendency to get stretch marks and was prone to loose skin. After having my second and third children (twins) and carrying to 37.5 weeks, my body was in desperate need to help repair. I wanted to be able to feel and look my best again. I was a size 12K after having my twins and even after finishing breastfeeding, I was a size 12G-H cup. Being this size, even though I was used to a large bust (10F pre kids), it was extremely uncomfortable to be exercising. I had to wear multiple bras to do anything with impact. I also had abdominal separation of >10cm just after my twins birth, which, with exercise, I was able to reduce to 2-3cm.

I decided that I deserved to feel comfortable in my body and I wanted to be able to pursue my fitness goals and my active lifestyle with my young family. I approached Hunter Plastic Surgery after following them on social media and reading reviews and seeing before and afters pictures from women just like me.

The team at Hunter Plastic Surgery have been nothing short of wonderful, kind and understanding the whole journey. They made me feel comfortable, confident and anticipated every one of my questions. They were always prompt with their communication.

Since having the surgery, I am able to be much more active, I have less back pain, neck pain and migraines, which is what I had hoped. I can also now find sexy underwear in my size and I have the confidence to wear it. I’m overall happier and healthier than before my surgery and I’m grateful to be able to have pursued this option. I’ve also noted an improvement in my pelvic floor since fixing my abdominals.
