Holiday Inn Potts Point-Sydney

Only dropped in with friend for coffee and talk.
Very nice feel to the bar and restaurant.

Great experience- great staff- great location if you were to catch a train to travel around.

Locker is available before you check in, standard rooms and services.

We stayed with breakfast included- it was great too with buffet and small live chef Menu. I would consider to visit them again for sure.

Reasonable price at the time. Very convenient. All the facilities have in and out here. There are so many places to see nearby this hotel including gardens, museum and classy and fabulous shopping malls. One of very important thing is very near to the Sydney international airport called Kingsford Smith. Simply recommended.

Minutes walk to the night-life of Kings Cross.
Most rooms facing either onto the cross, or towards the harbour.

Oh no! To be fair, the staff were friendly and polite. This was honestly one of the dirtiest hotel rooms I have ever booked. There was some kind of spill on the walls. It looked like blood. There was so much dust and grime, I was truely frightened to touch anything. The shower and toilet were filthy! The rim was not clean and the seat was on par with a public toilet. There were bits and pieces all over the floor including toenail clippings. I know it’s Potts Point, plus there are staff shortages due to Covid but come on! We asked for a refund and checked out promptly. 1 x star for the nice staff on the front desk. We wont be back.

Loved the hotel. What an amazing location. From bars to restaurants to supermarkets, everything is just a hop away.

Ps. Amazing city views from the rooms as well.

Handy to Kings Cross, restaurants, city transport especially handy to T4 Rail line.
Good size rooms and bed, nice view of city and harbour. Good value for money when including breakfast. Only negative, pillow need upgrading and not to be feather, no head support.
Friendly and helpful staff. Have stayed twice and would stay there again.

There is a lot to like about the Holiday Inn, location, views towards the bridge and City. Friendly helpful staff.
Comfortable functional rooms, and a really good breakfast.
For me, I would redo the bar area, as it has all the charm of Romanian bus depot.
Definitely worth a stay (there are plenty of bars in the cross)

Location. HOUSEKEEPING RECEPTION FOH friendly courteous and approachable. The young caucasian male from Brisbane was the most friendliest in the FB department. FB pretty average.

Clean & very spacious. I love the mini speaker on the bedside table lol. And easy access to the train station.supermarket, bar, and a restaurant nearby. So it’s pretty convenient.

Thank you to all staff. Room service and house keeping espically, you have all been amazing. Special mention to Dani and Julia on front desk.

I always get the same room there. Since the pandemic and my apartment in Europe, this is where I chose to live in Sydney.

Great spot to explore Potts Point, Woolloomooloo and Kings Cross. Hotel clean, modern, all facilities and nice breakfast.

***FIRST TIME EXPERIENCE***

This was our first interstate trip. Had a Jetstar package (flights and hotel). Stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights.
As advertised, the view is overlooking at the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Our view even covered the Sydney Eye Tower and St. Mary’s Cathedral. It was very beautiful waking up and before sleeping looking at such view.
Staff are friendly.
Location is very accessible. Very near to the train station. Just took a train from the airport and to the airport.
When we arrived, we were informed by staff that they don’t do room service everyday do you need to let reception know ahead.
When we checked in, the toiletries were not complete but you can ask from the reception if you need some.
They have a cafe but didn’t dine there. There’s food room service too. Wished there was a microwave though.

Hotel was great, very comfortable and clean rooms with beautiful views of Sydney Harbour and City! Staff were very helpful and friendly, will definitely be back!

Good location. The hotel located just few steps from King Cross Station. As well as the bus stop.
The room was clean, bed was so comfy as well and we also got an upgrade from Jetstars deal to have Harbour view room.
The view from our room was beautiful. We really love it

Definitely one of my favorite hotel chains, they never disappoint. Rooms are clean and comfortable, beds and air conditioning are great and staff is very friendly. Buffet was also very nice. I didn't see many guests so if you are in Australia planning a staycation consider the hotel

The hotel is clean, decent amenities, thick bath towels. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with the service. With covid, the new normal is that rooms are not cleaned everyday. A request needs to be made at reception to have your room cleaned. I made a request on 2 consecutive days within the given time, yet on BOTH days, when we returned to our room, it was not cleaned. This was really very disappointing. It just spoiled the whole hotel experience for me.

This hotel has a good location. Bang opposite to King Cross train station. Good connectivity to all major locations. Breakfast buffet has good spread. Near the hotel there are lot of food joints. Pizza Hut, Subway, Coles (grocery), Liquor shop
