Lack variety of more toys, figure, puzzle, but can't really blame since the whole area of store is 'not big as other branches, and stock base on local sydney preferences.

This is a fabulous store, with huge array of die cast planes, cars etc.also collectable die cast planes. Large array of toys toys as well as all the model and hobby toys. Worth a visit with children particularly older children. They do have toys for smaller children but more aimed at 5+

Hobbyco is a "must visit" location in Sydney with wide collection of models and toys. There is something to entertain children and adults alike.

After buying a toy RC boat for Christmas, it stopped working after a few hours and returned it to the shop. They refunded the money and followed up on the issue with a phone call. Good toy shop that has that “old time toy store” feel to it.

I have been trying to contact their online and city store since friday with both numbers being uncontactable.there is nothing on the website to indicate why the numbers cannot be rung.

I was trying to place an order but both the online and store contacts are not responding.

What's going on?

Following my concerns, Hobbyco was able to contact me within 48 hours explaining reasons for the problem, though nothing was mentioned on their website or Facebook so as make customers aware of phone issues.

They were helpful in processing my order.

I have been a customer for over 50 years.

Love going to Hobbyco during breaks to check out the new stock that comes weekly, staff are knowledgable and friendly and get to know you by name.
Highly recommended for diecast models and LEGO!

Received the delivery after a 2 week wait! I had packages arrive from the UK quicker. When it did arrive the one specific $50 part I required, THEY'D REPLACED WITH A $13 UP PART SERIES? Can't call, phone is to busy, no email response. Angry to say the least

Great staff who know their hobbies and can share advice. Especially the guy with a white beard in the trains section.

Honestly have never had better service, the team at Hobbyco are incredible and were ready to go above and beyond to make sure that my order was delivered safe and sound. Will definitely be shopping here again in the future and recommend others to do the same, will not be disappointed!

My family was so impressed by the service we received today at Hobbyco. Shaun is an excellent salesperson who tracked down the Lego set we were looking for and had so much trouble finding, and organised a way for us to pick it up from the Rhodes branch. Besides being knowledgeable and helpful, he is a polite, friendly and charismatic young gentleman, a credit to himself and the Hobbyco brand.

Being stuck in quarantine with my family is not a fun ordeal and the puzzle I brought with us, was finished after day 4. I looked online and found that HobbyCo was down the street from our hotel and had a great selection of puzzles. The only challenge was, how I was going to get to them. I called and spoke to David who was extremely helpful and quickly offered to walk down any purchase, to our hotel. I placed our order online and called David back with the order number to confirm he had everything that he needed. Less than 30 minutes later, a knock was at our door and outside the door was our delivery. But what a surprise when we opened the bag to not only find our puzzle but a fun new card game and 2 packages of Tim Tams (both of which we hadn't ordered) along with a note hoping our time goes quickly and thanking us for our order. My family and I were absolutely blown away with this act of kindness.and the card game was really fun to play and will certainly keep our remaining days, a little more occupied. Thank you David and HobbyCo for going out of your way to make our quarantine stay, more tolerable. Unfortunately we have to leave Sydney once our quarantine is complete but will make it a point to stop in when we are back in town.

Fantastic model rail display and selection. If only I didn't live in Sydney I'd have space for some trains! Great shop. Always visit when I'm in the QVB.

Hobbyco is not only a great shop to buy in as it has a huge selections of what I like, but also a great shop with good staff that understand and help their customers. I recently purchased an item online via Hobbyco website due to the lockdown. The next day Hobbyco shipped my item, I was so excited and waiting for it. However, after a long 2 month wait, I found out Austpost has stuffed up my post and the new model was lost in the transit. I immediately got in touch with Hobbyco, and Dave, the representative, helped me out at once and sorted all the issues for me with Austpost. I am so happy with the service and of course the new model. I highly recommend Hobbyco to all model fans, and sometimes, a good service can really make thing different. Love it!

What an amazing experience I had at HobbyCo this week. I went in knowing nothing about model making to start a new hobby and I came away confident, inspired and ready thanks to the wonderful knowledge and care of the team there. A huge thanks to the amazing experience and customer service of Stephen in particular. Anyone getting started in models…just go to HobbyCo in QVB and ask for Stephen! Thank you.

I love going to this store - have been for the past 5 years. A little expensive for some products but overall, an amazing range to choose from and great friendly advice from some of the experienced staff. Always love the train layout display in the large window.

I shop at the city store a lot, but have noticed when anytime an item is marked with a special price they charge you the FULL price so people watch out it has happened to me on a few occasions there staff are blind
