Fantastic experience with Harvey Norman Moore Park - they were able to confirm and deliver the TV I wanted within 24 hours. Was incredibly impressed with the service from Stephen and the lovely delivery guy today (sorry didn't catch your name)! Will be back!

Would give more stars if I could! Absolutely outstanding service from Ben in Bedding. Having spent over a decade in customer service I found myself very acutely analysing the words and actions of multiple salespeople over the last few days when helping mum shop for a new bed set (with quite specific needs).
Ben was the only one to actually listen to mum’s checklist of needs, had a can-do attitude, was very positive, extremely knowledgeable, consistently checking in with manufacturers to see what modifications they could make, gave us the space to think about it all without being pushy, and most importantly negotiable on price! Mum is very very happy with the outcome of her purchase and we would both highly recommend to see Ben if you’re interested in a new bed. Thanks again.
Also special mention to his manager (franchisee?), sorry we didn’t catch your name but your service and help was very much appreciated.

Got served by Matt (Italian dude that thinks he's Brazilian) from the computer/mobile phones department - I already knew what I wanted to buy, but this guy's service is that good he got me all sorted on the same night when I was definitely expecting to wait at least a month for parts to come in! He even stayed back an extra half an hour after the store was closed to help me out and even sweetened the deal for me getting parts that I never bothered to ask about because it's been in such high demand. He's the guy to talk to every time.

We have been served twice by Tommy in electrical appliances who assisted us in our purchase of a fridge and washing machine.
On both occasions, Tommy was super helpful and gave us a great deal. He recognised us the second time we came in and gave us a great welcome. He seemed to genuinely care about the suitability of the product to our needs. The delivery drivers for both products were brilliant too. Arriving at a good time and fitted both products in an extremely professional and friendly way. GO HARVEY NORMAN! And thanks Tommy!

Huge furniture warehouse with plenty of options. Customer service is great.

I was too generous to give the review before receiving items.

Bed frame was promised to deliver by end of June but it has never been delivered (now in July). Customer support said to call back to update the item status but he never do so.

Sofa + dining tables was delivered ontime. Salesman promised the products come with free installation but on the day, delivery men refused to unpack and install. Called Harvey Norman's customer support and was told to wait for few minutes to check system + call back. And there was no call from Harvey Norman. Delivery men just left.

Just bought a Sonos sytem, Stephen the salesman was great. Answer all my questions that i had. He explained me a few things to make my set up bettee and gave me a great deal. Will be definitely coming back to shop there. Thanks

Purchased a rug and was told I could return when I tried to return on the next business day was told I couldn't return. Dishonest people won't go there again

Standing here right now with Thien with a faulty tv purchased 2 months ago. Immediately - his reaction was that it was for the manufacturer to resolve - and that I should call them to arrange an evaluation. I said my contract is with you - not with the manufacturer - this is of course the case in contract and consumer law. Thien then advised no that’s not the case and he knows consumer law. Naturally I’ve taken a screen shot from the ACCC showing indeed that the relationship is with the seller, not the manufacturer, and for the seller to return the item to the manufacturer, not the consumer. Thien is extremely rude - didn’t look at me once in 30 minutes of being there. Walked away when making calls so I couldn’t hear - then walked consistently away when talking to the manufacturer as we both had to provide Infomation - extremely frustrating when he has decided to go across to the other side of the store. Very arrogant - with a clear problem with the tv after 2 months, the retailer and the store person both rebuked their principal consumer obligations.

After extensive research, I decided to purchase The Super Q Blender by Breville from Harvey Norman. Based on the online stock checking algorithm, it appeared that the flagship store at Auburn had readily available stock. Based on past experience, I gave them a call to double check. Lo and Behold! Despite the system stating that they do have the product the second customer service consultant (Atish/Adish) advised that it might have been a glitch in the system and assured me that they DO NOT have it. Also, I was also advised that Harvey Norman @ Blacktown does not have it as well despite the system stating that they do. The 1st customer consultant I spoke with (a lady I believe) told me to hold half way through our conversation and literally put the phone down on me. Thanks to Atish/Adish whom I spoke with when I called back again for giving me the necessary information to make an informed decision as to pay the More Park HN to pick the unit up from there.

Moore Park HN: Excellent service from Jake/Jack whom I spoke with over the phone prior to making the 1hr 20min drive to ensure that they DO have stock and he was happy to put one aside for me. Much to my pleasant surprise, he gave me a freebie Monster Surge Protector priced at $40 (Key word is "Priced", not sure how much it's worth though. #MonsterAV) along with my blender citing that the warranty does not cover electrical surge related damage and hence it was the goodwill of HN to provide customers with the free surge protector. At the checkout counter, I was promptly assisted by Michelle who did everything with a smile, from opening the box to let me inspect the product to taping it up securely after.

Summary: Harvey Norman Sales Department, if you do read this review, kindly liaise with your IT department to ensure that the online stocklist actually corresponds with that at the physical stores/outlets. If not, I can imagine how frustrating it will be for someone to turn up and not find the product of choice available. Also, Kudos to the excellent service of Atish/Adish from the Auburn branch for being honest with me and not putting the phone down on me for no reason. Last but not least, thanks to Jack/Jake and Michelle from the Moore Park branch for making my visit there such a pleasant/enjoyable one.

P. S: The first thing I made with the blender was a Makgoli (Korean Rice Wine) and Lychee smoothie:

1) 1 x bottle (750ml) Makgoli (Purchased from Komart Strathfield)
2) 2 x packet of frozen lychees (from Costco)
3) 10 Ice cubes
Blend with the superb super Q. Enjoy!

This Harvey Norman is located inside the Super Centa at Moore Park. It is two levels jam packed full of furniture, bedding, home wares, electrical items, etc. The service from the staff is always friendly and helpful, both in person and over the phone.

The glass table I ordered was delivered chipped and scratched. Took photos and sent it Harvey Norman the next day and was sent an automatic acknowledgement email that my complaint has been received. I've heard nothing since and it's been over 3 weeks. Zero customer care despite sounding friendly. All they want is your money and there's zero follow up service attached.

Staff are rude. Was going to buy a table and sat in some seats for a moment to try them out. Old angry lady basically implied we should get out. Unbelievable. Go somewhere else if you wanted to be treated like a human.

Absolutely horrendous experience. Purchased a bed on 18/9 and told it would take two weeks for delivery. Fine. Many excuses later, the bed finally arrives 10 weeks later on 29/11. Then, insult to injury the bed is actually faulty and needs to be sent back! Still no bed.

All this with a terrible (non existent) customer service.

Harvey Norman you are a joke and a disgrace to your industry.

Horrible service, they promise the world and fall short on the delivery front. The Manager Ben also no help, won't be buying at Harvey any more. And they wonder why people buy stuff online these days.

Paid in full for a LG 65 inch but when I opened box it was missing 4 screws. I can understand that the problem was with the packaging what I cant understand the poor service of harvey Norman. Instead of trying to help and solve the problem they just kept asking the same thing "did you check the box" until I finally got angry and told the guy to put someone else on. I have bought 2 LG TVs this year from harvey Norman but in future will shop else where.
