We'd been researching rangehoods and fridges for quite some time and had been stuck in analysis paralysis. That is, until we met Bojan, who was knowledgeable, friendly, kind and offered the best service we'd ever encountered in an appliances store.

Bojan first helped us with the rangehood and got us a better one than we initially were going to buy for the same amount that we were going to spend. Score!

After we purchased the rangehood, he saw us browsing fridges and helped us again - we'd been stuck between two, my husband was possibly leaning towards one and I was like a deer in the headlights unsure of what to do. Thanks to all of the information provided by Bojan, not even a couple of days later we now have our shiny new beautiful fridge and it was 100% the right choice.

We really had been at it for many months trying to choose (mostly my fault due to baby brain) but Bojan really helped us. Thank you Bojan for your amazing service, we so appreciate it!

Sales staff are friendly at first but don't expect them to honour their price guarantee after you've made the initial purchase.

I have the best customer experience at the Electrical department. Great service with very competitive price offers and prompt delivery. I will definitely come back when I need electrical appliances for my home.

Purchased a washing machine and was given a scheduled delivery today between 12.45pm - 3.45pm.

3.45 pm no any phone calls / updates from HN.

I called HN at 4pm to ask for an update, they told will contact the driver to ask for an update, and will get back to me but no one contact me back.

Very disappointed with HN staff and their delivery.

Paid for a set of Alberta outdoor furniture in June 2021 and was told that it will arrive latest by end of August 2021. We are now in Jan 2022 and still waiting for it. It has been more than 6 month waiting time and every month they keep telling me the same story, that container should arrive next month. Very disappointed whit Moore Park store.

Excellent store. Andrew from the bedding department was able to help us order a mattress and have it delivered. When the pillows didn't make the delivery truck he personally delivered them for us. He went above and beyond. Go and see Andrew next time you want to buy a mattress.

Some of the worst customer service you could imagine. I purchased some of their Novocore flooring product and within no time it was popping up and cracking. Getting the flooring department here to respond to emails and submit a warranty claim was absolutely terrible. I had to follow up email after email and they just didn't care - it took months. I also asked Harvey Norman support multiple times for their complaint handling process and was told they don't have one. Avoid the flooring department of this store and especially the Novocore product. You will regret it.

Our personal experience was a nightmare with supervisor from Electronics Department!
Dec 31 2021. These review is for the supervisor alone.
We did not have the same experience with the other salesperson in the same store.
We went to help out our elderly friend, both 80 years old, the elderly man is a quadriplegic, the elderly woman tested positive that day to CoVid, she have breathing problems and she thought maybe it would help her husband not to contract the virus if she could get herself a dyson purifier to clean the air in the room. I put in the order for her, paid 899.00 online, card on her name, but I did not have the option to name a person for click and collect. Instead I put my husbands mobile number for click and collect so we would be notified when its ready.
I printed the order form as a proof as well.
We left our own 3 children, watching them on security camera at home, thinking we it would just be really fast to be able to helpout our friend. I had to get vaporizer for them and my husband to pickup the dyson from Harvey Norman.
After 1 hour of pleading, and being called fraud by these manager, he did not give us the dyson purifier!
We were presenting IDs and everything, but he did not make any offer at all to help to resolve the matter!
No compassion at all! There should be some excemption to some rules! We were not even asking to break the rules bit at least help! Instead of just saying No!
Especially if lives are at stake.
He could have called to verify, take our licenses or something! No help nothing at all.
We ended up buying again another dyson unit at 899 from them because it is very important to our elderly friend.
To you Supervisor at Harvey Norman Electronics Department, I hope you do not look at peoples appearance and decide from there if they are trustworthy or not! If they were in a suit would you treat them the same?
And when people tries to explain to you the situation,
DO NOT CALL THEM A FRAUD.
Perhaps you could try to rectify the situation and not to blame your costumers!

Waited for a moment at the TV sales desk when a man shouted "WHAT YOU WANT" (his name is Jonny) I told him I'd like to buy a tv, his then told the a young man sitting next to him you go. The young man's name was Evan, thank goodness he was helpful as we were about to walk out!

Thankfully, the sales pressure seems to have reduced over the years, although it seems to have reduced the point where it's sometimes difficult to get the attention of a salesperson.

The range in this large Harvey Norman is very good.

I recently bought a washing machine at Harvey Norman, a demo from the floor with a good discount. It’s exceeded my expectations. The gentleman serving me was knowledgeable but the delivery / pick up wasn’t executed as we discussed. Harvey Norman apologised and collected the old washing machine at 6: 30am on a SUNDAY! The one morning I can sleep in and couldn’t…ahhhh. Might go do some washing now.

My experience here as a whole during lockdown was effortless, which is more than I can say for its competitors on the other side of the Supa Centre.
Evan is a real credit to this business, sorting me out from quote to end of sale, all the while transparent with pricing and product options.
He went out of his way to get us the best deal for our budget, make sure we were happy with the order and then made changes when we weren't. Textbook customer service. This alone will be the reason why we'll be ordering everything we need from this store in future.
