47DONT Just Dont buy anything from the HARDLY NORMAL COMPUTER DEPARTMENT COFFS HARBOUR. LIARS, CHEATS and CHARLATANS. I have just gone thru the Longest Refund process (10 weeks). My wife was sold a Product which didn't do what the product was purchased for. These fast, slick talking Salesperson dont know there products and will say anything to get a sale. Absolutely NO CUSTOMER Guarantees or Satisfaction. After weeks of me ringing them and threats from the So called Manager, I was finally refunded By the Manufacturer Samsung whom were very concerned as the initial Contract was with Harvey Norman Coffs Harbour. Fair trading was needed to get Harvey Norman to respond. I advise all potential buyers DONT Buy from HN Coffs Harbour. Commission salespeople who DO NOT have any Compassion or Empathy let alone a fair Refund Policy.
It's a typical Harvey Norman, so it's over priced. A $1200 bbq at Harvery Norman is $800 at bunnings. If you shop there, then don't forget to negotiate for a better deal. Better to buy your stuff online if you can.
Reading these reviews seems to confirm my suspicions about the computer department. Some nice staff but the guy who knows everything knows everything. Service biased towards couples and men. Spending my 1000 elsewhere.
I went into Harvey to buy a mattress and was greeted by Tim, his service was exceptional. He asked me all the questions ie.what size bed and my budget, he showed me every mattress that was close to my budget and provided useful information of each and every mattress and the warranty that comes with it, very happy with how handled the situation and will be definitely be buying a mattress from Harvey.
The staff can be pressure sellers which appears normal to them as they dont like not getting an immediate sale.
Equally they are very helpful to close a sale of course aiming to sell more than the customer needs.
Harvey Norman - Absolutely awful customer service. Radio/tv/newspaper adverts say they are experts in student computers/devices. When presured into buying and sold something that was not needed and given free by the school, refused refund or credit even though the item was completely unopened/unused. Stating the reason as my fault as I did not know, and that it was Australian law to not refund for mistakes. No refund or returns policy on receipts or stated anywhere for that matter!
Learnt my lesson for only $120. Would never use again and would advise everyone I know not to either.
Bedding senior sales lady is a liar. Was told of new stock for stock take sale & to come back a week later. I returned a week later she was contradictory lied to me i have a Witness. She wasted my precious time & cost me $80 i pay a care person to drive me & support. I would recommend shopping elsewhere. Typical Harvey Norman i bought in past a matress STAINING FROM IN HAS RISEN TO SURFACE. A washing machine failed manufacture DEAL replace if problems occure Well it stopped working i contacted was TOLD No OH THAT SALESMAN DOSENT WORK HERE ANY MORE. Very convenient. I did write a past feedback regarding those problems. NOT A RESPONSE FROM THEM. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE PURCHASER. Why thank response they don't fcn read them or contact the person customer.
