After purchasing a TV on black Friday sale there was a mistake with my address. I followed via customer service online. 1 month had almost past and still no TV. I rang so many people during this time from HN Online. The only person to get back to me/ follow up was a man called Riley Owen. 5 Stars are for Riley. Riley did what he promised. Followed through. Kept in contact and did more for me then anyone else. Thanks Riley Owen. HN Coffs Harbour. Audio Visual department. You make a difference. Thanks again.

Pretty good talked to a lovely salesperson called Trudy who was very helpful with all of my enquires. They have a great choice of outdoor furniture which was what I was looking at.

I experienced very very bad customer service from a staff who was in mobile section at Harvey Norman Coffs Harbour. When I came to buy an IPhone, I just asked him for any discount for this mobile and he suddenly replied to me that if you want this mobile just buy it otherwise just leave it and walk away. He put screen protector to mobile and there were few bubbles on the screen and when I asked about it he shouted at me and told to me some bad words and said to me “ I am not a machine so that it can happen and you are making a problem because you asked me a discount and I didn’t give to you”And he said to me few bad words and asked his colleague to manage it and walked away. I never experienced such a bad customer service in my life. He insulted me infront of my family. When I looking for a mobile cover he just opened the seal of the mobile without showing me. I am unsure whether it was sealed or not.

Its hard to beat Harvey Norman on deals and there very polite and respectful, plus knowlegeable of their products. Its nice to buy a well made Australian product for a good price.

They need more staff, went in for one thing but it wasn't on the shelves but was in stocks on the website so waited around for 30 minutes for one of the staff to be free to ask if they have it stored somewhere else or at the back, but ended up leaving because the staff there showed no signs of finishing with the customers they had been helping since I got there, not going back.

Arnika (don’t know last name) has assisted me with a few products including my new fridge and last week I bought a Dyson cordless vacuum cleaner. I was actually blown away by her knowledge of every stick cleaner and what they could do and the power each one had. I could not believe that she could remember details of everyone of them. And she was right. I bought the Dyson 15 V Detect and after vacuuming that morning with my Electrolux stick, I used my new one, and I could not believe that the barrel had picked up so much fluff and dirt from the carpet – it filled a third of the barrel. I don’t usually do reviews like this, but I feel so strongly that this staff member had such amazing knowledge.

Poor service. Laptop salesperson announced that there was plenty of stock for the chosen model. Then i was kept waiting for over 30 minutes, eventually went off to do some other shopping. After a further 20 minutes or so I received a call from the salesperson who then advised that they were unable to locate the product i had chosen and paid for and that the best they could do would be to supply the display product which would be factory reset, cleaned and supplied with a free bag for my trouble…. (not really needed but a nice touch). When I opened the bag the product was as it had been on the display, no sign of cleaning, full of smears and fingerprints. Change of mind and refund. In passing I mentioned that I might try the Grafton store the following day. The same salesperson told me that they had no stock either and none would be delivered to either store until at least early January.
The purchase went ahead quite smoothly the following day at Grafton who had no less than 7 in stock. Purchased a few other significant bits and pieces whilst I was there.
Pretty dismal effort Coffs, won’t be shopping there for a while.

Has a great variety of things to run a home. The staff are amazing. Easy to get around as isles are a nice size.

Walked into this store yesterday, waited for assistance, one staff member sitting on a computer did not even acknowledge us, another saw us but was to busy eating behind glass. No customer service at all. So we walked out. Will never walk in again.

It's a Harvey Norman, so if you need a TV or washing machine and don't mind paying a premium to support local jobs (theoretically) - then you could do worse.

The Dark Haired Middle Aged Man in the delivery warehouse was so rude to me yday when I went to pickup white goods. He very rudely said I was in the wrong spot even though my email confirmation said otherwise. When I went to show him and explain that I was directed here he just kept shutting me down and then huffed and walked away never to return! Luckily the young bloke came out afterwards and happily took care of the pickup for me. I won't be buying at Harvey Norman if I need to collect from the warehouse as I don't need the abuse!

Very Disappointed and dissatisfied. Went to purchase a subscription renewal to Microsoft Office for $99. Harvey Norman wanted to charge $50 to install it on my laptop. Their minimum service fee for tech support is $50. It was 5 minutes work if that. Harvey Norman needs to review their fees and charges for tech support. They should offer better support to consumers who purchase products from them. Outrageous!

2 parts to this review.

Picked up a rice cooker and took to the counter. A sales assistant saw us and deliberately went out of his way NOT to serve us. Made eye contact and he just about ran in the opposite direction and tried to look busy. This was after he made himself a coffee on the demo machine on the floor. Obviously being commission based, a $100 rice cooker is not worth his time. A couple of customers came through and were served in front of us as their sales assistant/s pushed them through (obviously making a larger purchase worth their time).

We waited 10 more minutes and after not being acknowledged, simply left the appliance on the counter. Went to JB HiFi and we had the purchase complete in under 3 minutes of walking in.

Part 2 - ordered a new tv online with click and collect at Coffs Harbour store. It was a pre-order. After the release date had passed by about 2 weeks, I called customer service. The Coffs Harbour sales rep took the call and said they were in transit and were due the next day and we would be contacted. A week passed and I called again to follow up. It was now on “back order” with no word on when it was going to be available.

I cancelled the order, ordered online with JB HiFi (exact same model) and it was delivered 2 days after.

There is just no reason to go to this store. We have spent 10s of thousands over the past 10-15 years at this store, but it seems you get better service by just shopping online.

Don’t waste your time here. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I went to the store to get a new lounge. After a few visits and a few hours sat in the cloth version of the theatre lounge. The lounge was comfortable to a reasonable level. As I have black leather 3 seater at home I chose the theatre seat in leather.
After a wait for delivery and the installer left I sat on new lounge to be absolutely and instantly shocked by the comfort. The lumber support was so bad it felt like I was being push up in uncomfortable arch and that was the support set on minimum. Made contact and they sent out a Upolsterer to added bits and pieces of foam to fix it. That didn't work either. The emails took so long to get answered and then the final one saying I should have chosen a different lounge. The funny thing is the left side isn't to bad. Absolutely disgusted in that response and they said case closed.
