Harvey Norman Armidale

Love shopping at Harvey Norman Armidale the customer service is fantastic. The crew have great product knowledge and are never pushy for a sale, just there to help you find what you need. The team are polite and often love to have laugh too, makes shopping easy and a pleasure. It's got my vote for the number one store in Armidale for customer service. Two thumbs up to Justin and the floor manager who looked after me on Saturday:)

Went there to buy a phone and no one there asked if I was being served, so I then asked an employee for help, the sour old woman said its not my section and I'd have to wait for someone else to serve me. I asked that person how long would it be until I was served and they replied how long is a peice of string?
They could of served me but insisted on being silly they gave me the, oh it's not my section rubbish. This Employee then waddled off back to her section to twiddle there thumbs and stand around like the plumb she is.
I then waited for another person to serve me and I waited patiently, only to realise that this employee was not serving anyone but just having talk with a floor represetive that provides Harvey Norman products!
If that's the type service you offer in Harvey Norman Armidale, it's Garbage.

Lack of ownership when a purchase/sale isn't straight forward. (ie.back-ordered items)
Customers shouldn't have to chase you repeatedly for information.

First time at Armidale Harvey Norman. I stood at the counter to purchase a new phone. The staff noticed
that I was there, no one approached me to assist with my purchase so therefore I left. I rang Tamworth Harvey Norman and they assisted me with my purchase with the Harvey Norman online store.

I can not speak more highly of Harvey Norman Armidale. They went above and beyond. The best customer service I have ever experienced. Thank you to the team who truly put the customer first.

Fantastic customer service received from all staff involved in my transaction today. I was offered a price match (they actually offered a slightly better price then the competition) if I placed my order on line and within 15 minutes of submitting the order Brett in the electrical department had made contact to confirm the order and arrange a delivery day. Gav in the warehouse and the delivery guys Henry and Walt ensured the order was delivered in an extremely timely manner ensuring total customer satisfaction. Not many businesses are capable of completing an entire transaction in a day. Well done Harvey Norman Armidale on totally exceeding customer expectations.

My favourite store in Armidale for a large range of electronic and household furnishings with old school personal service. Highly competitive pricing and willing to negotiate. You might pay a little more sometimes, but just so easy to have problems sorted in person, not on-line. That sells it for me.

Extra bonus is the abundant parking and non-cbd location.

We purchased a dishwasher & freezer from Harvey Norman Armidale, the staff were helpful & friendly. The best part was the delivery service, these men were amazing & a great advertisement for the company. A special mention to Walt.

I dislike Harvey Norman as a concept, but we were only there for Santa photos and i have no cause to complain about anything

Poor customer service in-store when I went in to buy two ovens. After looking at the oven displays for 15 minutes I went looking for a sales person only to find two of them chatting to each other, instead of serving customers! I left the store and took my buisness elsewhere in town.
Don't say retail is dead if you aren't looking after the customers that do walk in your doors!

I've been in here so many times. Just to sit on chairs. I can't believe they are making lounge chairs with USB ports, power points and mood lighting. Soon there will be no reason to ever move away from the television. Besides that, Harvey Norman always has great staff that clearly want to help you find a great deal. But beware, they are still looking to make a sale so do some research before hand so you don't get sucked into their salesmanship. They are very persuasive and can hold a conversation for more than a few minutes if you aren't careful. You walk in there for a HDMI cable and accidentally walk out with a 3 piece lounge suite. It happens.

The staff are very helpful and are quick to solve problems without a fuss. In comparison to other options in Armidale I recommend this store. Everything I've gotten has worked, and if it hasn't they've fixed it or replaced it swiftly without weeks of paperwork and waiting.

This store is very local based and helps the community with fund raisers and actively participated in local community events. It does'nt get 5 stars because it's a little small a lacks some variety that other Harvey Norman have. The staff a very friendly and caring better then most Harvey Norman's in Australia.

Whatever I have bought here, no matter the department (electronics and computers, home appliances, or bedding) the staff here have always been extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We’ve been happy with every big ticket item bought here, and happy with the staff.

Consistent and fairly reliable. As noted by others, store/staff might improve its customer relations. In my experience: good.

Lots of specials such as power banks 2200mv with leads sets suit tables, phones, computers etc all for $5. Staff are always available to assist and demonstrate. They appear to know what they are talking about. There is adequate free parking at the front door.
