I am in the USA and ordered wine to be sent to someone in AU. It was delivered within hours of ordering. I was very impressed with the prompt communication and delivery. I hope to stop in if I ever get over to visit.

Cool place. After spending over $500, accidentally dropped a glass and was demanded to pay for it.
Pretty disappointed

I ordered the wine and cheese pack to be delivered to my friend on her birthday. I ordered it a week in advance and was able to very simply choose the delivery date!

Although there was a slight hiccup (the cheese was forgotten in the first delivery), Handpickedwines came straight back out to deliver it within a few hours!

So, if - like me - you're looking for something to send your friends something during our period of isolation, this is a great choice! I am happily vouching for their service, and my friend (who finished all her goodies that evening) has vouched for the taste!

Have had an ace time each time I've gone to Handpicked - went for the first time with a group of friends; we've been back since and very much appreciate that there's always new food and wine options to enjoy.
There's a great atmosphere, it's right on Central Park and it's just an ideal date place. Lia was really helpful with recommending flights of both red and white wines; she had a very broad knowledge and selection at hand and the Riesling she suggested was one of the favourite ones that I've had.
The accompanying cheeses were also great; Anthony helped us pair the wines with some very appropriate and delicious selections and the blue cheese in particular was really good

Had a fantastic time! Chose the flight menu of cab savs paired with cheese! The wines were nice as was the variety of cheeses. Great service and nice atmosphere

In the scary current climate, I decided to treat myself to the best indoor activity there is: wine and cheese. Handpicked not only deliver their wines, but also a great selection of cheese and charcuterie direct to your door (IN THREE HOURS - if you're in their radius). It arrived on time and looks delicious, but beyond that, what also blew me away was their customer service. They absolutely know how to take care of their customers. Not only did I receive a phone call rather than an email regarding a query I had about my order, but they even took the time to send me a personalised video specifically about my order - talk about a personal touch! Whilst they may not be able to do this every time, the fact that they took the time to do it in this instance was truly touching. I will definitely consider them for my next wine and cheese night.

What a great place! Industrial vibes with high ceilings and great staff. I had the wine flight and the charcuterie and it was sensational. Big thanks to Lea and Anthony for the amazing service. Will be back for sure.

The concept of having a cellar door in Chippendale is pure genius. I love everything about this place - the interior, the wines, the cheeses and charcuterie.

But what will keep you coming back is the staff. The charming manager, Anthony, and his team are welcoming, knowledgeable, attentive and just lovely people - especially Lia and Owen who are delightful.

Could not recommend this place enough!

Lots of great wine to try, paired with cheese! The interior design here is fantastic as well. When you see the retail price of the wine it makes the tasting prices really good value, both a pro and con because we didn’t think it was worth buying bottles of the favourites we had tasted. We were walked through each wine in the ‘explorer’ option which was great fun and informative. Would recommend

Delicious cheese and meat. I was happy with the food, the portions and the price. The seating was a bit uncomfortable and the light was a little too bright for a cellar-themed place.

Will probably come again.

What a great spot. Highly recommend this spot for dates or even a 1 on 1 catch up with friends. Their flight tasting sets are great and cheese boards are spot on! I really enjoyed my visit and looking forward to come back again

Wine flights at AUD17. Add about AUD15 to pair with cheeses. Nice high ceilings and streamlined no nonsense decor. The retail closes early though so take note if buying bottles. Sat deep in and unfortunately staff were not attentive. The first wait staff couldn't explain to us when we enquired about a wine though except that it was from Bordeaux France all in all nice place to hang out for drinks with friends

Went for the $15- wine tasting for a group of 8. Brian was our sommelier and did a fantastic job both helping us choose the wines and explaining every subtle nuance. Highly recommended experience. Brian made the experience for us. He was great!

Awesome place, lovely vibe, great wines. You can do pairings or even buy a flight of 4 wines which is only $20 BARGS with good measures too. For an extra $15 you can add matching cheeses. Notes to go with your flights too, which you can keep. I will definitely be back, it may even become my new local i enjoyed it that much.

Absolutely love it here, we’ve been back multiple times since stumbling upon this place. Fantastic service and great wines at really decent prices. Come here for a tasting, a glass or a wine flight- you can’t go wrong!

We met up with small group here before dinner at Spice Alley. We ended up doing the wine tasing which was amazing value at $10-15 for 6 wine tastes. The guy that served us had great chat and was very knowledgeable which made for a great experience. It was a good way to start the night, throughly recommend.

Great place for wine tasting with a huge selection that you can choose from. Good wines plus delicious cheeses. It was really a phenomenal experience.
