Don't bother buying cheese from these people. My sons have sent cheese twice now, the first time I received another persons order. I received a 12 hour window to receive the parcel or they will leave it unattended in the foyer of my apartment building (unsecured), well guess what I do not work from home and never get home before 7pm. Get a better courier service, for the $25 you charge per delivery you could employ a decent courier company who can give you a reasonable delivery time.

What a waste! Placed orders for my team yesterday morning so we can enjoy a team celebration this afternoon.

It's 5pm and half my team are still waiting for the delivery!

One got a call from the courier saying they are still 2 hours away.

Rang Handpicked Cellar Door and was advised that there's a disclaimer in the order confirmation email. You know a business has stopped caring when they refer to disclaimers in emails AFTER you placed the order.

As my 4yr old nephew says - USELESS!

Edit: we have had the most exceptional customer experience with Kevin. He served us during the $22 wine tasting, and was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the wine, but provided great historical background to what we were drinking. Great banter and even better service. The only thing it lacks is some excellent Belgian chocolate:) Thank you Kevin!

When I lived locally, this was my favourite place to duck into for a mid afternoon drink. At the time we used to go (mid arvo) it wasn’t busy. We generally received wonderful service and were consistently pleased with the flights of wine we would get. Never had food here. The flights of wine were about $40-50 each, reasonable for a casual drink.

While the wine is great, and the concept is excellent. The staff and customer service couldn’t suck more. It’s atrocious.
If you’re going to come here, make sure you have plenty of time and are very VERY patient.

We've been here a couple of times as we LOVE the pinot, so I booked the mezzanine for my wife's 40th. It’s an exceptional venue for a event - the area is decked our gorgeously (photos don't do it justice), and the grazing table was chefs kiss. The wines were impeccable as always, and superb value for money. Added bonus was access to a projector for speech time! A huge thanks to Lisa for being super friendly and helpful organising the event, and Sara for some great recommendations.

Such a fantastic place. Visited a number of times now and wine and service never disappoints.
Went for the wine flight on our list trip. I love that each guest can choose their own flight that suits them (so red-wine only, or on white only drinkers don't have to compromise!). Can also pair with the cheeses, but we ordered our own cheese and cold meats so everyone could share instead. Every wine was exquisite, and the cheese and meats were equally as good. So lucky to have this place right on our doorstep in Chippendale. Lucky but also dangerous! Its a wine shop as well as a restaurant/bar, so all to easy to pick up a bottle!

My experience here was absolutely delicious! You are able to try different blends of wine with the most suited cheese. The wine list and pairing suggestions allows for better knowledge takeaways.
My home cooked dinners and wine pairing game is now elevated!

Great afternoon spent with Oysters, float of Australian wines and a great selection French cheese. Service was up to scratch even though they were busy. Well worth the visit!

Absolutely love this place. It has a great feel to it, the food and wine are amazing and you can take away. The staff are lovely. This is definitely my new favourite cheese and wine place in Sydney!

Great atmosphere, knowledgeable staff and excellent wines. I recommend choosing from one of the tasting flights they have on offer.

Absolutely fantastic service from the staff, especially from Kevin. Wine flights and cheese pairings were perfectly matched. Would have been good to have a wider range of wines to taste. List lacked wines including gewurztraminer, sangiovese, tempranillo and malbecs. Would have appreciated a bit more flexibility in wine flights.

Just did a wine flight here and it was great. I live near McLaren Vale so know a good wine. All the wines in my tasting were delicious and the staff were excellent too!

Had a fantastic time there, was a late walk in but were accommodated quickly. Ended up getting the Wine and Cheese experience which was amazing, I unfortunately couldn't eat the cheese but the Chef easily swapped my serving out with some delectable cuts of meat instead. Leah was incredible, very friendly and knowledgeable, had some great insights into the wine and regions and made the experience so much better. Will definitely be returning next time we're out this way
