Granny Flat solutions built our granny flat, the time it was supposed to take was a lot longer than they told us. The biggest problems were with the trade people that came they left rubbish everywhere and their work was not of a high standard also finishes were not up to the standard of a new build. Their was also a lack of communication between management and the trades and at times it was hard to get answers from the management team.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were amazing especially Sonya, James & Jessica & our designer Jason and the finale result was what we envisioned. I would definitely recommend GFS to anyone considering building a granny flat.

The team was highly professional and great to deal with, from Christian taking me on a tour of a display home to Greg and Rhys managing the build. I felt very informed each step of the way and part the entire process. The project manager was a simple phone call away and even with difficulties over the COVID period the team was able to deliver such a wonderful result for us. I was also impressed with Joseph coming out for the walk through at the end of the build, showing such care and consideration of all my questions. I would recommend Granny Flat Solutions in a heart beat to anyone thinking of build and would definitely use them again for any future build.

Disruptive service at 50 Burton St darlinghurst today when concierge and strata owners deemed this not allowed today. Disrupting units, rude not covid safe and offensive.

We were extremely pleased with our GFS granny flat build which was customised to accomodate high ceilings, a rafted roof and matching the build to our planned renovation on the main house. Staff were always polite and timely in their communications. Can’t fault the team at all!

Avoid them at all costs. They took a deposit, refused to do the job and will not refund. Thieves.

Our experience with Granny Flat Solutions during the construction of the granny flat for our daughter and son-in-law was excellent. The staff are committed to a very high quality of finish, regular feedback to the owners and a timely completion of the granny flat. If additional extensions are required we would not consider engaging any other company to complete the work.

Five years ago, we had decided to build a granny flat in our back yard, visited few granny flat builders around the greater Sydney but couldn’t find the right builder. This year a friend introduced Granny Flat Solutions. The management and staff warmly supported us from day one, signed the contract, stated the work and despite all obstacles and restriction caused by Covid 19 pandemic, completed it timely.
Though they are a big builder with many projects, their approach is like a family business it is personal and specific. The top managers, project managers, subies, internal architect, technical and admin staff all are young professional energetic and helpful people.

Grannyflat solutions recently completed a 2bedroom grannyflat. The whole process was very smooth and professional.

We consulted with Christian first. He inspected the site and provided us with a detailed quote. Joseph answered any questions we had regards to finances and provided documents that the bank required.

The project manager, Kenzie provided weekly updates and the minor issues were resolved promptly. He was there to answer any questions we had with regards to the project. Neil helped us design the grannyflat. He was very informative especially with all the council requirements regarding with the trees.

What I most liked about the grannyflat solutions is that they have weekly open house! We went to quite a few and picked some ideas from different grannyflats to create our own little space. We highly recommend grannyflat solutions and we are very happy with the finished project.

Granny Flat Solutions recently built a 2 bedroom granny flat for my investment property. The whole process from sales to design and then construction was smooth and professional - I am very happy with the final result!

James, the sales representative, was very knowledgeable and came to do a site inspection and provided a detailed quote very promptly.

Tony and Matt, our project managers, were always very responsive to our emails and calls and kept us updated with the whole project. They made sure that any minor issues were quickly resolved and sent us weekly updates. GFS made sure to push the construction through even when the COVID lockdown slowed everything down.

I would highly recommend anyone looking to build a granny flat to consider GFS - everyone I interacted with at the company was very professional and transparent.

Our independent building inspector viewed at prelining and PC stages and was super impressed with the workmanship.

Shout out to Neil that designed a beautiful and unique granny flat that found cost effective ways to deal with a sloping block. Sean our PM was in regular contact with us and gave really thorough updates with photos of the site. He did a great job at also keeping our tenant in the main house informed who stayed for the duration of the build. Joseph was fantastic with helping with the bank on any financing questions.

Overall a really positive experience. The proof is in the fact our granny flat was rented in less than a week!

GFS are organised and professional. There is a structured timetable of key steps from the site visit, design, materials selection, construction to handover. They are transparent on prices. We enjoyed the lifesize plan viewing with our architect Khai to visualise our floorplan prior to construction. Our project manager Tony was responsive and provided us with weekly progress updates. Tony and the construction manager Joe were attentive to our customised needs and offered helpful solutions. The entire team was reliable, communicative and have built us a cosy new home to create happy new memories in.

I chose Granny Flat Solutions to build an extension/addition to my existing house plus an attached granny flat, just because of the company’s good reputation, being a multi-awarded company and the excellent reviews by their customers.
