Loved it. Very organised and professional. Also happy that my son's artwork is displayed as part of A Central Vision

Beautiful open space for displaying artworks.

We visited the national portrait display which was being shown at the time.

All in all the pieces were displayed very well with only a few high gloss pieces that could have been lit more sympathetically.

Plenty of parking and easy to get to. Well worth visiting.

We went to see the Archibald Prize collection, our first time there.
A great exhibition space, we were able to get close to the paintings read the descriptions, and then stand back across the room to view the works from the intended distances. A pleasant change from Sydney galleries and a very reasonably priced Exhibition.
There are several exhibition spaces in the building and a cafe inside for coffee or meals.

We were fortunate enough to see the 2019 Archibald Prize entries (closes 12) 1). We went on the free guided tour which was excellent. The Japanese garden was worth seeing as well.

This is a really chilled place to relax and unwind. Great for kids to feed the Koi with food available from the kiosk. The food is nice as well and the coffee is tasty. It's free entry so you can take all the family without emptying the wallet but it does get busy in school holidays and weekends.

What a great place. The garden is absolutely beautiful. Koi fish pond with lots of fish and ducks. Breathtaking atmosphere. Won't take long to do a round trip of the garden. The cafe inside has all day breakfast and everything was delightful. Would recommend to anyone. Kid friendly and fascinating art on display too.

The Central Coast is lucky to have the Gosford Regional Gallery. It is located in a lovely quiet spot on the water in East Gosford, offers plenty of onsite parking, nearby walking tracks and the small but beautiful Japanese gardens. There is a popular cafe in the gallery and a great gift shop featuring artworks of all modalities at reasonable prices by local artists. I often make special trips there to buy gifts. The gallery is a must to include on your to do list on the Central Coast.

Loved the Art Gallery, such a gorgeous building. Loved the exquisite wares in the shop, and also loved the squid in the cafe, absolute bliss. Looking forward to exploring the Japanese garden on Wednesday as last week it was pouring. A delightful surprise we'd not known about before.

A great regional gallery showcasing local, national, and international talent.

The Japanese commutative Gardens are a wonderful to stroll though of an afternoon.

The surrounding parkland and boardwalk through the bush are also great for birdwatching.

And of course. One must take an opportunity to feed the Japanese koi carp!

Lovely place to have breakfast or lunch. The Japanese gardens are gorgeous and the children have the opportunity to feed the fish with little bags for 1 dollar. The art gallery is surprisingly spacious and full of different types of artwork. Wonderful place to spend half a day. There is a park nearby with a playground and there is a walk on the water through the bush.

Myself and a person I support with disabilities visited the art gallery cafe for a browse and afternoon lunch. The art was beautiful, but we went to order a coffee and cake and were absolutely astonished at the prices. One slice of a very small peice of cake was $10.50! Going to places like this with a client makes it so difficult for them and their budget.
