Customer service was good and friendly but the drinks turn out really poorly done especially the pearls. I ordered earl grey 3js the pearls tasted like cardboard like no flavour really plain as it’s suppose to be sweet. I ordered 1/2 sugar and it tastes like 25% sugar which I’m not happy with. My bf ordered the taro and strawberry tea with pearls that drink was way too sweet and the pearls also need more flavour to it. Just do the pearls better please thanks

Very poor service, wouldn't serve a friend of mine, and were extremely discriminate to her. Wouldn't recommend supporting this place to anyone who wants welcoming costumer service.
I hope the owners of Gong Cha can read all the bad reviews and up their game if they want to continue making business.

In response to your reply, my friend and I attended your service on the 12/12/21 at around 3/4pm. There was no receipts because my friend was refused service and could not buy anything. I will not be sharing the colours of clothes we were wearing as that is a privacy matter, something I hope you would respect considering you claim to be non discriminatory. And yes, this is a real review, you can check my profile and my validity there.

Unfriendly girl staff
29/09/21 i bought 6drinks, wanted to pay on my right hand with card and left hand my phone for check in premises but told i cant pay unless i check in first
Its totally annoying staff cuz i can do it both hand when she can do get my drink ready so I don’t need to late catching up my tram
After at work my drink doesn’t taste at all no sugar
Totally unsatisfied with the drink and i will go there if the other guy service with better taste

If u believe that i will pay the drink the same thing u will believe that i will check in with QR since I don’t planning to not check in too otherwise all efforts for reopening the lockdown will be waste
On the other hand she is taking my order first instead asked me to check in with QR?
When she is taking my order definitely the next step is pay my order then i can check-in with other hand without having the argument that spoiled my drink without sugar in it?
Im never had problem with ur other boy staff when i buy drink he always there

Hope my answer is satisfied u since I don’t have problems with ur other staff only her starting the argument!
And Its about to teach ur staff manner how to serve customer without argument

Went there a few weeks ago and the girl was very short spoken and rude and got the order wrong. Also asked if I had checked in after I had already showed her, but just let the Uber eats guy pick up without checking in. Went to go tonight to see if the attitude was different. They were closed but lights and door wide open gave the impression they were open. Was told rather rudely they were closed. I won’t be back.

Reply To the owner: I gave feedback concerning your staff member you can choose to take it or ignore customers. I like gong -Cha as a product but I prefer the staff at other locations. You might want to look through your other reviews you will see I’m not the only customer complaining about the staff. Also I was unaware as a member of the public that ordering services had pre-check ins - it’s not common knowledge. Also I have no issue checking into places I understand we must all do our part but if you read my review correctly- my issue was with the fact that I had already showed the staff member my check in that on top of her being rude made for a terrible experience in your store. Good day.

So today I made an order through the EASI around 2.30 p.m. And we choose the pick up option. But when I arrive at the gong cha central the staff (girl) said that they are not open with the impolite tone. Then I asked why? But she kept saying “We are not open”. It’s waste my time to walk until there and got that bad service. It’s not my first time to have a bad service from this girl, fews week ago she also act unfriendly. If you ask about the girl name then you can check who is working today.

Messed up my order multiple times in a row. I always get Pearl milk tea with standard Sugar and no Ice for my kids. Last time they added Ice instead of Sugar, and this time again skipped Sugar.
There werent any queues or people waiting outside the shop, that the staff was in rush, not sure why it has happened multiple times. Dont think I will ever go there again.

Been going here for close to 4 years, girls are pretty friendly. Drinks are really good. Only thing I would change is the presentation of the store. Looks messy and dirty from outside even though it’s not necessarily dirty just messy.

Very quick service:) only issue is.the pearls are always verrryy squishy. Way too soft to eat.this is when i order during the night times but day times, very good service and drinks!

The lady cashier has an attitude of being rude. It happened on 25th March around 330ishpm, i bought a pearl milk tea and failed to present her my gongcha digital coupon before paying for my tea. Instead, i just remembered that i had a coupon when i finished paying my purchase and asked her if i could still used it. I am aware that it should be presented prior to payment, However, due to being thirsty and dizzy, i wasn’t able to remember it straightaway. Instead, She scolded me, she raised her voiced a little bit and she said next time show it to me before you pay. She repeated it twice. It would be very nice if she told me in a polite way about it but it wasn’t. I was very thirsty and dizzy that time and I raised my voice a little bit and said SORRY OKAY NEXT TIME I”LL DO IT. I dont have much time to respond to her impolite attitude towards the customer cos I dont have that much energy. If i could tell her that she can tell it to me in a nice way. It was really disappointing. I still got my order but she should be nice towards the customer.

Not sure why there’s so much hate to this place. If there is only one person working the store, obviously it’s going to take a little longer. That said, I love the fact they are open till late. Got my order the way I wanted. Couldn’t be happier. Only wished they had some chairs and tables for customers to sit and relax.

So incredibly slow. I thought I left plenty of time between lining up and my scheduled train, but I missed my train because the staff here couldn’t move at a reasonable pace. Won’t bother with Gong Cha again.

Fast service. With 8 min till my train I can line up with 2 people in front of me and still make my train without rushing and with 2min to spare.

I come here all the time and the service and quality of the drinks is amazing. Can not fault the girls/guys in anyway. However, they lost a star because sometimes there is only one of them on and I’m waiting for a while to get my order. I wish there were more staff on especially in busy periods. Love them otherwise!

Milk foam green tea taste so bad order number 89 18/06/2020. Can’t taste the foam at all. Never been disappointed with gong cha before. I’ve tried all gong cha in city but this one was the worst.

Terrible experience my girl friend ordered a brown sugar milktea without ice, while they gave her a pearl milktea with 3/4 cup of ice. And the staff told her they can't make another one! How could you sell milktea like this? How could you bullying a little girl? Where is your customer service?
