Glasshouse Port Macquarie reviews
58 Great concert. Sound controller didn't have voice mics set up well until 2nd half. Keep losing some sound in 1st half before interval.
A pity the regional art gallery not open prior to performance as advertised as arrived early to look at artists work.
Excellent theatre, staff very friendly and helpful. Wheelchair seating space great view of stage
Can't thank you enough had the best time are they coming down on the Central Coast please let me know if they do best show
Great venue.good staff.good shows.
Only negative which is huge.
"No Parking".
have to go to a show hours before to try to secure one.or catch a taxi.for such a beautiful venue this really sucks in 2021 and in the future!
Comfortable seating.good vision from upstairs. A lot of stairs to navigate.lift available but cramped and quotes.downstairs sells out early.
I recommend the Glasshouse for any live theater and I the Robertson's Brothers 60s variety performance they are so talented and hilarious too, I can't wait till next year, keep on playing boys and hopefully not everywhere is locking up and you can do your other gigs as planned
Great night All Schools North Coast Dancing what talent was shining there with the young people of our area watch in November for the School Spectacular on TV we will be truly represented.
Fantastic venue, perfect seating placement meaning everyone can see the show without someone's head getting in yhe way.
Incredible acoustics here and has an incredible line up of artists all the time my only disappointment would be it's location and no parking close by.
Nice friendly, helpful staff. They have some pretty good art exhibits in there, plus all the information for tourists and locals plus the shows are pretty good too
Wonderful facility for the area. The Theater is top class and the shows are varied with top talent.
3 spaces for 3 exhibitions. Worth a visit particularly with the current modern indigenous works
I along with four of my friends attended a performance of Soul Sisters yesterday evening Wow was it jam packed from the start with four very talented ladies sining their hearts out. The show was fantastic Enertaining from start to finish Could have bopped along for hours. Seriously very fortunate to have experienced this great event plus how good is it to actually be a part of a live performance at these very trying times in our history. We are blessed to be living in this part of NSW and all doing the right thing Stay safe everyone It's disappointing if you missed these ladies because they were fabulous
THE COMMUNITY NEEDS TO USE THIS SPACE -The Glasshouse did cost the community a huge amount of money but it also cost the performing arts community the loss of affordable performance space. For the council to serve the community properly proper consultation should be taking place to ensure the Performing Arts community is having their needs met because currently, they are not.
6 couples attended the Glasshouse to watch and Elvis impersonator. Great night everyone enjoyed.
Facilities are great
Very helpful information centre, great and friendly staff, interesting history downstairs near the bathrooms.
Love this place! Local and international talent come here! My daughter dances here! Love the facilities. Dispite the negative impact of the locals from the beginning when it was first introduced. Now, love it!
Have been going here fairly frequently lately, mainly for kids related things. This is a great facility and it's been pretty amazing the other shows that I see going on there. Worth going too for a show if there's one on.
Liked the drink glasses, allowed in the theatre and placed in a box on your way out at intermission or by usher at the end of the show. Plenty of toilets. Best of all space to get past patrons on the way to your seat. If they are huge the seats fold up. Good night. Also pleasant staff
