They really need to spend some money & install proper shades as too hot on sunny days.

Used to be cosy and charming. Now it's too busy and overpriced, not a nice atmosphere as before. Also, coffee was never good. Harsh and burnt. Now it's also overpriced.

Very pleasant cafe, and a handy stop on the Cremorne to Balmoral foreshore walk. A cut above the usual cafe fare, at somewhat above aversge prices. Plenty of outdoor seating (some tables under shelter) or you can take away to the surrounding park. Family friendly both in food offerings and space for kids to run around in safety. They play up the French theme with French staff and background music, and they do excellent patisserie and croissants. Service is fast and friendly. Highly recommended.

Cute outdoor breakfast eatery, great views, gorgeous doggies. Can get very busy at the weekends. Delicious mushrooms, yummy coffee.

Just a short drive from the main shops in Mosman. There is plenty of street parking although it can get a bit busy. The food and coffee is good. But the call out is the price, it’s very expensive for what you get (the toast in the photo was $17). I recommend going for the big breakfast. The venue itself is great, very open and allows you to go for a short stroll down to chowder bay after your meal. Would come back for a coffee but probably not worth the price for the food.

Onion Soup is off the menu, and evidently not coming back, according to several staff members. (Frenchy Burger was not on the menu today either.)

Wanted to try this place out because of its good reviews and how its “pet-friendly” but when we arrived, staff did not even acknowledge us. When we found a table to sit at, we noticed that all the tables were so close together. I have a great dane and he’s bigger than your usual dog so we asked the waitress if we could be seated somewhere with more space but she seemed confused and ended up ignoring us. I know it gets busy but please be attentive! We ended up leaving frustrated due to the lack of customer service and having no where to sit.

Also, the items on the menu are overpriced - $30 for a simple angus burger? ! Sorry just no

This place is a hidden gem in Mosman. Amazingly good coffee. Quiche is a must try. And you can walk to such amazing views of the Watson bay from here. Perfect place situated in the most picturesque location.

Great little ace lovely food and staff are welcoming. Taking that extra step for customers, bring water bowls for people dogs as they come for a morning coffee after a long walk.
Perfect place for a coffee and catch up with friends.

Pleasant and relaxing spot in Mosman, cozy garden surrounding areas with art gallery and art sculptures.

Delightful French Cafe in the middle of beautiful parklands! Great French food, ambiance, service and scenery. A delightful place to pretend you are in the South of France while in Mosman!

Our first time there. Met up with some friends for breakfast. I had the ham and egg Souffle. It was delicious. Highly recommend Frenchys Cafe. Great atmosphere, excellent service.

Lovely spot but food is extremely overpriced for what is, essentially, not much different from any Cafe in the area.

No effort goes into presentation at all and things like just throwing slices of half cooked, soggy sweet potato on the plate next to such an pricey meal is poor form. It was inedible. The burgers, sandwiches and coffee were fine without being special (coffee was pretty decent if I'm being honest) but all fine, especially given such a nice location.

So, since the food tasted fine and the location was nice (beautiful really), why a 2 star review and not 3 or 4?

Firstly, service.

I ordered food and drinks, paid and sat down. Our food arrived but no drinks.

We ate, asked about our drinks and waited. Nothing.

Here's a tip; when you do table service, people expect their drinks to be served as well as food.

If you take food to the table, your staff at the counter should tell customers that they need to get their own drinks from the refrigerator.

Secondly and the most off-putting was that we had random dogs without leashes jumping onto our table to eat from our plates! Disgusting!

Two of our meals were ruined by dogs eating from our plates.

Honestly, the dogs owners were did nothing, the staff did nothing and so 2 meals and $80 down the drain.

I'm not talking about an isolated incident. Dogs roam around and just constantly harass you, trying to get to your plate while you're trying to eat.

Very annoying and sanitary at all.

The desserts looked very tempting (and look to be the best thing about this place) but we'll never know since the experience turned us off trying anymore food (or feeding it to the seemingly stray dogs).

For the record, I love dogs but I expect to be able to eat meal somewhere without random dogs eating it off my plate.

Nice hidden place in Mosman, with positive vibe and friendly staff.
Wish they had more options on the menu for juice or refreshing drinks in hot summer days.

Pleasant surroundings, food arrived quickly and was well presented and tasty. Wine overpriced, but that's probably just a Sydney (or Mosman) thing these days. Looks like Brush Turkeys are the new bin chickens.

The food is good, but the staff have questionable integrity. I left a nice hat and bag, called them 1 week later and the staff member said yes they had them both. She was the person that found them on the chair. But then could not locate them, they called me back the next day and said they could not locate them after an extensive search. ……that only really leaves one explanation.

So if you visit here and leave something, don’t expect to see it again!

A lovely and idyllic place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Very close to Middle Head coastal walks. Good for a family of people, or pets. And also for the soloists! All the food brought out by the wait staff look very good. I had the chicken and mushroom pie (comes with salad) and it was trés bien (very good)!
I had iced chai latte. It was basically a glass of cold chai latte with (no ice-cream and/or cream). It was still good, though.

Great place for breakfast and coffee.
Very popular place with nearby parking. But have to be early or the place will be packed.

French onion soup at Frenchys! Authentic enough to come with a beret.
Ps didn't come with a beret but still very yummy.
