Amazing food and amazing service!
Hayat went out of his way to make our anniversary a special one.

The food is really delicious and authentic. Delicious naan bread, butter chicken had a great flavor and I love the palak paneer. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this place.

Was excited to try this place because of the good reviews. Unfortunately the entrees took at least an hour to come out. We had made the reservation for 6: 30, ended up leaving at 8: 50. I tried the goat curry which the menu says it has been cooked until it is falling off the bone, but the one I had was quite tough and not palatable.

Amazing food, and the service was exceptional. The Chef, Hayat, came out and introduced himself and provided delicious complimentary desserts.
Malai Kofta, Shahi Bagun and Palak Paneer was delicious. Peshwari naan is a MUST try!

Great food, speedy delivery however.for just under $50 the portion size was dismal, fork & 50c coin for scale.two small tubs. Extremely surprised, wonder what the portion size is like eating in. I won't be doing this again.

We have eaten in and ordered takeaway a few times. It’s really some of the best Indian food we’ve had. The vegetarian options are super tasty and the butter chicken is outstanding. In fact, we have liked every dish we’ve tried. I would recommend eating in as the setting completes the experience and the service is great.

I will happily drive from the inner west all the way across town, (passing probably at least 50 Indian restaurants along the way) to come to Flavour of India. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years, hands down the best Indian restaurant in Sydney - so many delicious vegetarian dishes, I particularly love the cauliflower and pumpkin curries. My meat eating counterparts praise the butter chicken and the samosas are to die for! The same chef has been here for over 20yrs so the food is always consistent. Consistently delicious! Easy parking right out front after 6pm. If I could give them a sixth star I would, all time favourite restaurant.

What an amazing place it was. Food was extraordinarily delicious and made my birthday even more special as the chef himself came to the table checked what the occasion was and got the surprise! Thank you and would definitely recommend if someone is looking for a nice ambience, food and the experience!

Flavour of India in Edgecliff is my favourite restaurant for almost 5 years. I love spending time and dining in this restaurant. It is always nice chatting with Chef Hayat. He loves his career and his passionate is admirable. This restaurant is highly recommended.
If you like seafood, don't forget to try Tandoori Fish and Rice.

Great service that made our dining experience memorable. Food was great and Chef Hayat personally checking with every table how the food was, shows the thought and care he still puts in after 31 years from opening.

Best Indian in Sydney! The food is delicious, the service always first class and the Chef Hyatt is such a lovely man too - coming out the kitchen with little surprises and gifts and checking everyone was satisfied with there meal! Thoroughly recommend!

Visiting Sydney (we are coming from Germany, Hamburg), we were looking for a good place for dinner and found the restaurant “Flavour of India Edgecliff” in Sydney. The meals were really brilliant and the cook - Hayat (of Calcutta, who is in Sydney since 1985) - prepared also an extraordinary dessert for us in an authentic Indian style after we had payed. This was a really good experience and also gave evidence to us that Indians are the best in cuisine worldwide. We can say this from our experience as we are frequent travelers (private and for business) all around the world. So thank you so much Hayat and also thanks to the entire team providing first class services to us, Silke and Dennis from Hamburg!

The BEST Indian in Sydney. No exaggeration. Delivery or dine in - food is always INCREDIBLE. Head chief Hayat is THE BEST:)
