We had a lovely meal here, very authentic delicious dinner and the staff were all very friendly portions weren’t the largest but actually were perfect for us, we didn’t end up overeating and feeling stuffed!
Would recommend the malabar prawns

Simply the best Indian food in Eastern Suburbs! We were in recently and the chef, Hayat, came to speak to us - such a nice and generous guy. If you want quality Indian food and good service there is only one place to go.

We always order takeaway there - Food is good but prices have increased significantly (more than inflation) and portion sizes keep getting smaller.

VERY POOR SERVICE. I WENT THERE WITH MY FAMILY TO HAVE A TASTE OF INDIAN FOOD AND THEIR SEVICE, TO BOOK FOR AN UPCOMING BIGGER FAMILY OCCASSION. BUT DECIDED NEVER GOING AGAIN TO THIS PLACE AND NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANY ONE.

What an amazing experience! The head chef, greeted us after our mains were done. I had recently got engaged and he wanted to share the special occasion with me? He brought out a traditional Indian hat and served the most wonderful desserts. It was so special that he imparted his culture on me, I felt like I was in his home. Food was beautiful, couldn’t recommend enough!

Had a beautiful dinner at Flavour of India. The food was delicious and the chef, Hayat, was incredibly warm and friendly, bringing us complementary dessert! A must try.

Amazing Indian food, beautiful restaurant with nice seating and the best service, what else can you ask for?
My partner and I came here on a date night and we were impressed with the quality of the food, the diversity of the menu, the cozy ambience and the good service. The head chef Hayat was so kind and welcoming! He checked on us towards the end of our meal and gifted us a plate of chocolate/ dessert naan. Thank you for going above and beyond, we would love to come back!

Outstanding food for the VERY patient. Hands down one of the best in Sydney, dishes are at another level to most competition but if ordering delivery expect to wait 90 minutes plus, not sure what the hold up is and meals always arrive hot but wow it takes time…

Held a birthday Dinner here on the weekend. Couldn't fault anything. Staff were fantastic and the food was exceptional. Locked in as our favourite for sure!

The food on a whole is nice but very expensive considering how small the portions are. Worst of all is the insultingly tiny amount of rice you get for $3. In fact I measured it and it was 1 cup of rice, which is equal to half a cup of uncooked rice.

Our regular Indian takeaway, we have ordered from here half a dozen times now and have always had a reliably good experience.
At first, we thought the dishes looked small but we have found that they are more substantial than they look because of the generous amount of meat in each curry. In particular, the Beef Kerala and Goat Curry (both of which have meat and potato) were not bulked up with a disproportionate amount of potato. They seem to use a good quality meat and we haven’t ever found it fatty or gristly.
Vegetable samosas are some of the nicest I’ve had. They are quite large and we usually split them between two now.
We were divided on the Raita yoghurt sauce - it was a little too thick for me but others preferred it like this. Similarly, some of us found the Fresh Mango Chicken a little too sweet and mild but I thought it was a lovely complement to the spicier beef dishes.
Rice servings vary so much between Indian restaurants that it’s often hard to know how much to order. Here, one serving is only enough for one person so you need one per person.
Free poppadoms and mango chutney were included with our order which was nice.
Prices are reasonable. Almost all of the curries are $23-$24. There’s a good selection of 8 vegetarian dishes which are $16-$18.
Flavour of India is located on busy New South Head Rd, almost exactly opposite Edgecliff Station. Parking can be tight around here but the Eastpoint shopping centre carpark is a good bet.

Food is really delicious. The quantity is lil less based on price for most of the items. But the overall taste of food and ambience is very nice. Staff and especially the chef Hayat are very professional and friendly. The chef personally asked for the feedback and also offered a complimentary dessert.

Terrible service. Lied about delivery times, was an hour late and then the restaurant didn’t pick up any calls. Food came and was cold, flavourless and oil had leaked - despite 10 requests on an update they never returned my calls / messages / emails

Absolutely amazed by the flavour of both dish we ordered. My girlfriend and I eat Indian food often and we can say this is one of the best restaurant in Sydney, hands down! We'll be regular for sure:)
