Pretty good not overcrowded #gym, well equipped, excellent a #swimming pool #spazone with #saunas (steam and dry) with friendly staff, free #towels, #free #shampoo, free #lockers, swimming pool. Pretty clean is everywhere. Minuses are saunas equipment not new but you can pour water on it to warm up.

The facilities here are pretty good compared to some of the other inner city FFs if you are interested in weights. Could do with more dedicated bench press stations. Would like to see more leg accessory machines such as leg presses and hack squat etc. The yoga classes are great as well, all instructors have been wonderful.

I do agree with comments regarding the front desk staff - a couple are lovely, but one in particular was extremely unhelpful when i wanted to train on a sunday and arrived before 4pm (the website said the gym was staffed until 4pm only). At that stage, I had just signed up online for a returning member FF titanium membership, but had not yet been to a FF gym to get my card. I arrived at the gym at 3: 50, and the gym was entirely closed up with no one on the front desk. When the staff member finally came out and i asked to be let in and given my membership card, i was informed "reception closes at 3: 30" (nowhere does it say this on the website!) and that i would not be able to train - despite holding a membership! Super frustrating experience.

Worryingly lax attitudes towards hygiene on the gym floor. Yes, there are staff that cycle through cleaning all equipment every 30-45 mins but I see 1 out of 10 members actually clean their equipment before or after they use it, which means there’s a good chance you’d be lifting weights that haven’t been cleaned by anyone. Of course, the best way to be safe in the gym is to clean you own equipment before/after, but I sense a general complacency among members, PTs and staff kicking in. Paradoxically, several wipe dispensers have been out the last few times I visited the gym over the last week or so, making it even more frustrating to be responsible and safe.

They'll make sure you socially distance in classes. They'll also make you wait with the entire class in an 8sq meter room prior to going into the class

Two occasions where I had to contact both the CM and GFM. One ignored my phone call, other ignores my email. How very professional, guys.

I don’t usually post negative feedback. In fact this would be the first time I ever post any negative feedback. I must agree with my fellow reviewer, the club manager is extremely rude, arrogant and bigoted. She is incapable of taking on any form of criticism electing to play the victim card and subsequently ignoring correspondence. It makes you question why she is even a club manager.

Got a day pass for 28 AUD when I was here for work. Once I got changed and asked them for a towel, they said a towel costs extra. Come on Fitness First - when I pay the equivalent of a weekly membership for one workout, I should at least get a towel.
Anytime Fitness across the road are less expensive, more accommodating and much friendlier.

I was offered 4 weeks free at the time I signed up. Staff at the time of signing up and the reception staff last week told me that 4 weeks are applied after the end of the membership. Phoned today to check if the 4 weeks free offer is applied on the account, the lady on the phone said there is no offer on the account and 4 weeks are applied at the start of the membership. Cancelled the membership because of this deceiving behaviour.

A banging recommendation to visit or use regularly for this location, very nice and various selection of equipment and really good locker rooms!

Enjoy my workout here without any hassle except the internet issue.people are well manner and friendly. Pt are very friendly. Would have given 5 stars if management put their act together to improve or provide better wifi connection.the gym daily internet data run out quickly and can’t access to personal wifi is annoying.

Good: free weight section with good (not excellent) range of equipment
This is the only FF with swimming pool.
Men's locker is normally clean.
Sauna & steam room are nice for post workout relaxation.

Not so good: multiple floors arrangements with free weights, strength and machine areas are not flowing well so you have go up and down moving one area to another. Eg. If you do walking dumbell lunges you bring down bumbells to function areas which is not really convenient.
FF BOND has better weights and equipment range.

Ok to work out in if you are there outside of peak hours but the layout is more focused on weights than general fitness which means you wander around looking for a place to do abs etc in between weight lifters. Free wifi is good as there is very little phone signal as it's underground. Bathroom cleanliness doesn't seem to be a priority, showers were pretty slimy.

Super nice gym wth great facilities, but the front desk member of staff was so unhelpful and difficult that it just seemed like too much hassle

Have been a member for 6 months now and enjoy their services and facilities. I am always happy to work out here.

Complete gym, good location and amenities. I won't give it five stars because of the lack of equipment in the free weight room, used by most of the guys. Two benches for bench press is not cool.

Gym is good. Equipment & staff good. Lack of aircon is bad. A gym should be cooler than outside. Hell a gym should be cool anyway! Why are the fitness first gyms all the same when it comes to lack of aircon. Can't wait for my membership to be ended for this reason.
