Did my first reformer class here, it was great with the screens and the instructor was very patient and helpful!

I wish I never signed a membership at this gym. The customer service has been hell, and the club manager will make your experience a nightmare. David Shwab, the club manager is completely rude and unhelpful when any concerns are brought to his attention. Once you sign a contract here you are screwed.

Surprisingly convenient to get to; lots of Reformer Pilates Classes throughout the day, which I love! Swimming Pool and Steam Room, Hot Yoga, and so many other options. I don't work in town but it's easy to get to on the Light Rail so it's now my favourite gym.

Great gym love it. Been going to the reform pilates classes and shout out for Nigel and Rita especially for being great reform pilates instructors. Great service, great gym, great variety of facilities.

Awesome environment especially not in the peak hours, just need to have powerfully wifi, no signal down there

Great staff and good classes. They have a pool and steam room. Beautiful studio for yoga classes.

The Zumba class was absolutely amazing but the customer service not. The blond lady at the front desk was so rude. I got confused and it looked like a real issue I had has twice before at another FF. This lady chose to be defensive, rude and kinda tell me it was not their issue, trying to cut me from talking etc. At the other gyms where I had the similar issue they were so nice and helpful. I don't know why people in customer service forget that they're there to help and be composed at all times. I have years of experience working on customer service and even when customers make racist comments towards me I keep.my composure. This lady really need some training.

Excellent gym with very new and state-of-the-art equipment. Lovely group fitness trainers with a great variety of classes available. The pool and relaxation area are a nice addition to this gym, that most others don’t have!

Great facilities, clean and at off times quite empty. Staff is friendly and the black label service is on point!

No windows so feels a bit basementish.

Very good gym that is usually not crowded. Given relative under usage, the equipment are very modern and clean. Lockers plenty of space with lots of lockers available. Very spacious compared to some other FF PLATINUM gyms in the suburbs. Staff generally friendly - would definitely recommend!

Broken equipment, broken lockers, roaches in the sauna. It gets so busy you have to fight for equipment, classes fill up and they have no booking system (so you only find out it's full when you arrive for class). Music so loud it comes through your headphones. No response to messages sent via the website. Rude staff that are only nice to you until you sign up. As soon as I asked about cancelling they kept referring me to a phone number to call between 9-5 and refused to talk to me. Called the number, waited on hold for 15 minutes and managed to cancel, but have to keep paying for 28 days before it goes into effect. Awful experience all around. Avoid!

Have been trying to call them for one hour! They have renewed my contract but still charging old rate! They never pick up the phone or reply to their emails! Really poor communication

Just be careful about the contract that you signing with them. Not negotiable to refund wrong withdrawal and they are just nice when they accepting new members.
Equipments are ok.

Been a member here for years. Like others but way less busy on weekends so it good to go to when the city Monday to Friday people are not in. The staff have always been helpful.

Claire M is a very nasty yoga teacher. I thought with all that yoga one would be more calm and zen. She has no tolerance for people being late (even brand new people) despite people living busy lives and making a special effort to come to her class. I think Fitness First will lose a lot of members due to Claire.

The pool is cold and dirty. It has a pole in the middle of two of the three lanes and they can't even be bothered to heat or clean properly. The pool area ceiling is covered in mould and rusting to the extent that it falls in the pool itself where it sits for months on end as the robot can't get to the corners and nobody would be bothered to vacuum or clean the edges manually. Then the pool is stained from the rust and the same bandaids and other human waste is visible from one month to the next. Repeated requests to maintain the wet areas falls on deaf ears with rude staff on reception and management focused purely on sales therefore unwilling to take any steps to invest in long term building maintenance. The steam room, when it is working, is covered in human remains and has bodgy silicone work and rusting hardware as a permanent feature. Shame that fitness first can give so little back when they monopolise the industry to the extent is stifles competition. They are more than happy to get you to rope in your mates for 2 weeks free though, heaven forbid they ever want to cancel their membership though.

Trainers are on point! The gym is usually dead (bonus for members) and you'll never struggle to find a squat rack

I did not have a good experience with Claire McGee (like a few others below me I see!) Had no issues with any other yoga instructors who are lovely and skilled.

Such a rude receptionist doesn't know the meaning of customer service. Warning "The Karen" is there.
