Everglades Historic House and Gardens reviews
65 A beautiful historic garden. With a great few of the mountains. During Autumn, the trees change colour to bright orange. A fantastic backdrop for picnic or just relaxing.
There’s a tea room inside the Art Deco house. They provide light meals such as scones, cakes and sandwiches.
A beautiful house and gardens with great views of the blue mountains if it hadn't been raining. Proper cup of tea and scones to die for! Friendly folks too.
My friend was married here and the look out behind where they said their vows was phenomenal. I didn't get to explore much, but I would definitely come back another time to check the rest of the gardens out!
What a gorgeous place! We came a bit early before the trees turn red and yellow but still enjoyed every bit of it!
Absolutely magical location. Fresh air and tranquility by the bucket load. I took a girl on a date here.now she's my wife, there's something magic in the air there.
Nice park. Was here for a wedding so only saw a small part of it. It's paid enterance which I didn't like so much otherwise it's a nice grounds for some great photos
It's good to go there to relax, bring a picnic. The house worth a visit as well as the path to go to the falls, which is not too difficult or too long.
An interesting and pretty garden, great afternoon tea break. Stop by for the architecture and design history.
Great and fantastic homestead and gardens. Best to book early if you want access to the great tearooms:) Make sure you allow more than an hour to spend wondering the gardens. Such a scenic place. Loved it.
Stunning gardens and loverly Art Deco house, hidden at the back of Leura, without tourist masses. Not expensive (not sure why some are saying it is). Great for kids too
Beautiful gardens, such a historical garden, glad to live across the road so we can visit all the time.
Couldn't fault, absolutely magnificent grotto pool and gardens. Hats off to Robert at reception very passionate and informative. A must see 5 stars all the way.
Beautiful place, take lunch or morning/ afternoon tea, and relax in a place that is open and in every case spectacular.
Beautiful 1930's art deco house with tea rooms at in magnificent gardens on the edge of the Jamison Valley in Blue Mountains National Park. Love the views, clean air and service with a smile.
A beautiful location to spend a morning & afternoon. The gardens are well maintained and a pleasure to walk around in. The House itself is a throwback to earlier times and freely explorable. Tea & scones were fresh and the service (volunteers) were friendly if overworked at times.
Great historic homestead and gardens. Best to book if you want access to the tearooms. Make sure to have at least an hour to spend perusing the gardens.
Is a big beautiful property worth visiting, for a paid entry. Many gardens, a small info/souvenirs office at the entrance, a Cafè inside the old house with an interesting history. A must see when visiting the lovely Leura suburb in the Blue Mountains.
We stumbled onto this historic house after a hike. I enjoyed it, but there really isn't much to see and it felt really expensive for what it was.
Honestly, if I'd skipped it, I don't think I'd have missed anything particularly remarkable.
Classic 1930s architectural style house, taking advantage of the views - you can casually tour the rooms in the house. Amazing gardens but it is obvious the current devastating drought has had an impact on some of the plants. Thoroughly recommended and free for National Trust members.
