Nice to check out the gardens and art deco house. National Trust has done a good restoration

Beautiful gardens. Funky house. Fantastic Devonshire tea - reminded us of home in the UK! Super friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Little gem.

Hmm … didn’t live up to my expectations. The grounds and views are lovely (despite numerous Agapanthus, many of which have already been removed). The house was much smaller than expected with a few rooms closed to the public. To me it lacked character, but each to their own. Old Government House at Parramatta, for example, is more worthy of a visit and has old world charm.

I visited this garden during this year's Leura Spring Festival. It was looking very beautiful with glorious Tulips in full Blooms. Nested in the heart of Blue Mountains, Everglades House & Gardens is an enchanting Retreat, Particularly during Spring and Autumn Seasons. I had visited here in Autumn, I loved those Golden to Reddish foliage, as well as the wonderful Mountain Scenery from the Gardens. A few photos attached.

A gorgeous National Trust property with stunning views, a beautifully kept garden and delightful afternoon teas - the scones were freshly baked and delicious! Walking around the gardens was a pleasure, and interesting to learn of the history and previous owner. A cute little gift shop with local produce too.

Was nice, not tons to see. Very nice. Kind of hard to get around if u can't walk up and down steps and stuff. Was pretty. The volunteers were lovely

Lovely to see such an interesting (and steep) slice of paradise in the Blue Mtns. The terraced gardens and outdoor theatre are very clever. Recommend sensible walking shoes to navigate a little bit of rocky terrain to see the grotto pool.

Lovely gardens and architecture. Would love to see in the Spring/Summer when there are more flowers and leaves on the trees. Not ideal for disabled people tho.

A beautiful hidden gem in the Blue Mountains. The landscaped gardens have amazing dry stone walls throughout. Many points in the gardens have majestic views of the Blue Mountains and valleys. As this garden was planned and planted many decades ago, it has many large and exotic trees and mass plantings of azaleas and hellebores. The original art deco residence has been beautifully restored. You can walk through the building and appreciate the amazing views from every room. Definitely worth a visit if you're travelling to Leura.

Loved this place. Being twice, once when raining and the second time on a sunny winter day. The gardens were magical on both days. They provided great enjoyment for adults and children alike. The house is a great example of Art Deco architecture. You can get to the Everglades via the hop on hop off bus, 695 bus from Katoomba or you can walk from Leura. Due to Covid the Cafe was closed when we went. Recommend calling ahead to check. Otherwise you could bring your own food and enjoy the vista. It is a great place to relax

Amazing historic buildings and well maintained gardens. We went during winter but spring or autumn might be a better time. Tickets required for non-members very much worth it!

This place is amazing the garden look fantastic and great pathways around this pristine gardens. Unfortunately the garden weren’t in full bloom but all the bulbs and bushes were getting ready to flower we’ll be back next time. I would definitely recommend this place to see how nice the volunteers have put so much work in the garden and surrounding areas.

Everglades consists of beautiful gardens and impressive architects and artworks. I'm especially impressed with the carved tree trunks. Maybe it’s better to visit the garden in spring or autumn so you can see more flowers.

We didn't get to visit the tea house since it was closed. But overall it's worth the visit.

Ticket purchase: $15 pp

Stunning gardens- very special indeed! Such lovely staff and gorgeous tea house open on weekends and generously funded by volunteers. Don’t miss this unique spot when you visit the Blue Mountains. Great for young children too- mine spent hours exploring!

Great garden, beautiful landscape, but I was expecting more details about all the trees and plants in it.
Found it a bit over priced

The Everglades House and Gardens is a spot you just can’t miss. The views are spectacular and there is just so much to see! Each significant area has an information podium which explains exactly what you are looking at and the history of it. They also have a tea house but we unfortunately could not go that day. Can’t wait to try it the next time we come back!

Beautiful Paul Sorenson garden, an Art Deco house, a grotto and stunning views of the Blue Mountains. Simple but tasty Devonshire Tea on offer too.
