Working on the inside, I see the day-to-day commitment of the team and would look nowhere else. C&H have been managing my property for me (a small unit in Balmain) for over a decade now. My wife and I had the good fortune of dealing with Ada Mastronardo from Cobden and Hayson for the sale of our 2 bedroom apartment.
Ada was incredible in the way she prepared our apartment for sale within a very short window.
Ada provided both my wife and I with daily updates throughout the process which gave the assurance we both needed that all was going as planned.
The final outcome of the sale and more importantly our dealings with Ada throughout the entire process was nothing short of amazing.

We had booked consecutive Saturday inspections following another inspection with Peter Gordon & he failed to tell us the property had sold. We spoke to him earlier in the week to confirm. We off the cuff confirmed the next inspection after viewing the first smaller property to have him snap back that it had sold, undisclosed amount.

Poor communication & not a premium sales experience like other agents in this. We had a friend with us who is also in the market & they were gob smacked at how rude he was.

My family have owned 2 properties on this street for 60 years & also investors in the area. We still know other families in the streets & will never sell with Peter. My partner is of Asian descent so it could have also been Peter profiling him & not giving us the time of day in person. It was an embarrassing experience none the less.

With little good stock in the area, unfortunately buyers get treated this way. Perhaps Peter should go buy a nice watch or visit a designer store to see how great sales associates treat customers. You get treated much better buying a Rolex or Dior handbag than a waterfront it seems.

We’ve had great experience with other agents in the area however don’t plan your weekend around this agent, seems unorganised & extremely unprofessional.

The sale was initiated by Jack to me, and he overcame my concerns of closing a transaction while living overseas. I have been a client of Cobden & Hayson for almost 8 years. They have been my property manager for my rental properties for that entire time and have been so professional and responsive and helpful for the entire duration. My current rental property manager is amazing and I would not have been able to get through some tough repair and tenant issues of late without the trust I have in her to help me make all the right decisions.
