If you are looking to sell your property through these guys, be warned: you may not get the best price.

As buyers, we tried dealing with one of their agents, and found him to be quite "relaxed" in getting in contact with us. Emails were particularly slow, ignored, or on one occasion mysteriously went missing. As a result, a property we were interested in purchasing ended up going to another buyer for a price less than what we were willing to pay for it.

We have dealt with other real estate agents in our search for the perfect property and have found their response rates and communication in general to be far more efficient and reliable.

Oh, the two stars is because the real estate agent was polite and professional (when we could actually get in contact with him).

I have just moved out of my rented accommodation room. I have been living in the accommodation for the duration of my studies at UNSW and have had a very enjoyable time. The property is well maintained and serviced to specially suit the needs of students. The agents are aware of special needs of students, our challenges in being in Sydney from a different country and were always understanding, helpful and available at anytime when needed. I wish to recommend this agent and their services to anyone needing to find a quiet, safe and comfortable place to live. I am greatful for their service throughout my time in Sydney.

I am a relocating expatriate arrived recently from London to commence a new career opportunity in Sydney in the new year. I have had the good fortune to lease a property from who i believe is the director of the business, Murray Howe. On inspection of the property in Milsons Point i met Murray who was unassuming, polite and allowed me to experience the property in my own time. Murray had great insight into the building and was happy to take his time with me, not rush like other agents on Saturday inspections and understand my trepidations in making a decision on where to place my new home in an unknown city. Murray was in frequent contact after hours, did not pass off my application to one of his staff and met me at the property to sign the lease documents and guide me through the particulars of the property as i was not familiar with the location of his office. I understand everyone has their own experience but i am a mature aged lady who had great reservations in navigating my way through the application process and was reassured beyond belief by Murray. I am fortune to have he and his company as my agents and i recommend others to ask for him personally if they need assistance in encounters with his company. For over 16 years i have had my property leased with Dixon. I purchased the property off one of their team and kept the management listed with the office. I have been well looked after for many years and have always appreciated the regular reports received on the condition of my property and market appraisals provided by frequent email communication as i am an overseas investor. I have recently sold my property after many years with the office and believe that many others will see the benefits of working with them in choosing to list their management.

I have recently rented a new property in Potts Point for myself and my partner. As an individual who has just relocated from overseas it can be useful to look at online recommendations and insights. In this case i feel the depiction of people's experiences give an unfair and inaccurate impression of the experience with this agency. On direct phone call with the advertised agent who was in fact the principal of the office, Murray was well tempered, friendly and very helpful as to the particulars of the property. The property on inspection was exactly as was outlined in the advertisements which is very often not the case and our application process was simple and uncomplicated and to our surprise processed on the same day of submission, this was not the case with other applications we had made to agents in the area. On handover of the property everything was in working order and clean for a new tenancy. I would recommend Murray to any friends looking or strangers out there who are able to see past people's often short sighted online frustrations. When we are ready i will absolutely be seeking Murray's advice and assistance to purchase our first home in Sydney.

Criminals. They avoid you at all costs to avoid paying your bond or rent in advance. Sadly the staff don't seem to care and deny all responsibility as they are not the owners and the response is that the owner is not reachable.so in other words we cant help you and we don't know while literally no reason given as to why or what the problem is or was. Avoid renting through this criminal enterprise at all costs.

Murray whom seems to be infamous and is apparently the owner causing so many problems with tenants sounds to be behind all the negative feedback so beware as some of the real estate agents working for him may be nice and professional but ultimately the decision maker is the one whom will stuff you over in the end.

Bad business not only for tenants but for owners as century 21 Dickson may be pocketing the change without informing owners as no reasons are given and no one seems to know what the problem was and this will clearly reflect badly on your property. This is not a company you want representing you as everyone will talk about the bad experience related to your property and the real estate whom represents you. Beware!

Hi have leased a property in the eastern suburbs through Murray from Dixon and have had to worst experience. I am now going to Fair Trading. I have called, sent messages and emails several times since we leased the property in July and after a month of fixing a problem we had initially moving in, our phone calls are being ignored or disconnected and we are not being contacted back. We have been trying since August to fix big problems with our unit and have even send emails to the Dixon email and had no response. I called their office and was told that nothing can be done Murray is the owner. So now we are stuck have problems that have been doing on for months now, for example insects were coming out from our filter tap and informed Murray but we were ignored and even we have major plumbing issues and we are being ignored. Our calls are disconnected or we are messaged - I’m on another call or my voicemail doesn’t work. Our building management is chasing us for this plumbing issue and Murray is not responding. If you need to lease a property please look through another as it is quite stressful when you need things fixed and are constantly ignored.

On first contact with Andrew, he was very approachable, assuring, knowledgeable, ethical and he knew the market movement well. There was no hard sell by Andrew, which reassured myself and I felt at ease.
Andrew would always act on requests straight away and with competency.
His team in the office were excellent and very approachable and knowledgeable too. Their marketing knowledge was excellent.
I felt very comfortable in relying on Andrew to get the most for my property with the market demand and I would definitely use Andrew and his team at Century 21 Dixon again.

Never lodge your bond to the Fair Trading and don’t want to give your bond back. Do not try to apply through this infamous agency ever!

I have been searching for many months for the right agent to take care and manage on my behalf my property. After being a student from China undertaking my postgraduate studies at UNSW myself and my family are in need of a local agent with community values and strong history to secure reliable tenants for our property as I return back him to start my career. We were aware of the long history of Murray Howe as a successful director of his company Dixon Real Estate in Kingsford for over twenty years. Murray has first hand experience selling and leasing the largest developments in Kingsford and puts the landlord first. In our meeting with Murray he was beyond informed of the activities in the area and full of strategy to tackle the challenges of a tough rental market. Our property was leased within 10 days of meeting with Murray and we have secured a strong return and long term dedicated tenant. We recommend doing your research before making assumptions like many others often do. Murray is a principled man who we are glad to have met and look forward to building strong business ties with.

Horrible service. Called several times, Calls were either ignored or disconnected. When i called finally through the front office, They rang me for over 5 minutes on hold, only for another lady to answer and tell me i was ringing an unused desk. To make matters worse, Tracy first tells me that the house is only available for 6 months lease, then tells me over the phone that they have nothing for me. Not a shred of courtesy or respect whatsoever.

Change a lot of company names. And never refund the bond. The notice of claim of fair trading.they do not use customers‘ name to pay bond. They use their names. So when u called fair trading. No information！U donot be allowed to check process of ur bond. And they will tell u bond already collected by agent. And agent just try to get many reasons.

Arriving in Australia I was unfamiliar with how to search and find properties on my own. I was referred to Tracy Xiao by my friend who rented with her recently and was very satisfied with my help from her. I was shown many options, explained the legal terms of the agreement with a NSW government lease and given assistance to prepare the required documents to be approved for the property. I recommend Tracy to help anyone arriving who needs to better understand how to successfully move into a home in Sydney.

***BEWARE***, a strange way to work for a realestate, as a first step they will try to make you pay the deposit in cash, as a second step they will try to make you pay the 4 week bond + 2weeks in cash, 3 steps let you sign the contract quickly in the office; try to ask you to have the contract sent to you before going to the office, they will not send it to you. They are looking for chickens to pluck

Horrible experience, you will never get your bond back from this company. Additional fees are charged with no reliable reason. A SHAME FOR Sydney.
