Carpet Call West Gosford

Came in the other day looking for help with getting advice on blinds. Michael was such a great help and i couldn’t of had a better experience.

Michael was a great help! Came after hours and was very well presented and well mannered. Definitely a valuable asset to the company

Went in to get a rough quote and advice and the sales consultant Michael was incredibly helpful and professional in answering all my questions.

I have never experienced such horrible customer service.
Firstly, day of installation could not be done as the room was measured wrongly and there was not enough carpet.
Next day of installation, 2 different coloured carpets were laid.
Then booked in to have wrong colour changed installer rang and no furniture removal people had been arranged and therefore could not proceed, this was organised prior to install over the phone.
Next installation booked to remove furniture and install correct carpet, no one arrived no one answered calls, head office basically wished me luck as they could not advise if they were coming or not as they did not organise install even though west Gosford would not answer calls.
Next tried calling again no response from either installer or West Gosford store.
I then contacted Department of Fair Trading and they sent through a complaint.
I then heard back from Department of Fair Trading and they had not received any response after numerous attempts so the next step is for me to pay to take legal action.
I can not believe that due to their incompetence and by simply avoiding any contact I now have to pay to take the matter further.
I will never use this company again and I have advised everyone I know to never use them.

Update - I have supplied invoice number back to company as per the request below from the owner.
I have received a call from Shane the installation manager who has been fantastic is helping to fix this mess. I was very reluctant to even get this matter rectified, as to date, I have taken 5 days in total off work and was not prepared to give this company any more of my unpaid time, however due to Shane's persistance in wanting to rectify the issue I have decided that I will work with Shane. Shane is the only asset that this company has working for them, they would be a complete failure of a company if he decided to leave. I am very disappointed in the actual store, I have had no correspondance, not even a phone call from the manager or anyone from head office to endeavour to try to rectify this matter.

I will continue to update the public on this matter as I feel it is important for customers to understand who they are giving their hard earned money over to.

The flooring man Michael is definitely the one to see when inquiring about anything at Carpet Call. He is a gentleman and one of the very few salesman that actually cares about the customers.

Im not sure why this shop has had bad reviews in the past but Ive needed advice and services from them twice now and they have been very helpful and gone out of their way to help. Will definately use them again.

I have Purchased Rugs from West Gosford Store as well as there new Cleaning Sponge. Well looked after buy the Sales Person Connor and will be purchasing my Cortec Flooring as well as my blinds for my new home when it has arrived on site. Always great service from the Team at West Gosford
