My warning light came on about low pressure on right drivers side tyre suddenly and not wanting to drive any further luckily was close to Carology and drove in. The receptionists were very helpful and had my car checked quickly and the puncture repaired and even a test drive!
Although I don’t t live around there, I would definitely recommend them to anyone living in the Bondi area

Got told by the service centre for our car’s brand that our car needed a full transmission replacement at huge cost. Carology looked at it and advised that it was very unlikely to need full replacement in the medium term and recommended instead a transmission service as a first step, and potentially the need to replace one of the key electronic components down the track, at just over half the cost of a full transmission replacement. They took the time to explain everything, answered all our questions and have saved us a significant amount of money.

These guys are the best. If you have something that needs looking at asap (eg an orange warning light coming up on your dash saying check tyre pressure) they take a look very quickly and fix the issue (eg tyre puncture caused my running over a 1.5 inch screw on the road) at a very reasonable cost. Well done Carology!

First time since moving to Sydney 9 years ago I haven't been rinsed for a regular service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, took the time to explain what was going on with my car and confirm what I wanted done (before doing it!), not pushy at all, with really fair pricing. I'm thoroughly impressed with the high quality of work that Carology (Steve, Lunis and the team) has done for my classic car. With the utmost detail and care, they treated the car as if it was their own. They weren't afraid to dive into the details to solve the many challenges that I brought them. I've been to many specialists in Sydney, and by far, Carology is top notch. They are trust worthy and high competent, the only combination you need to take care of your "baby". Steve and the team were awesome. Took my car in for a tire change and they ended up having to change three and serviced it as well. Car was returned to me after hours thank to lock box system, nice and clean and working perfectly. They communicated really well and appreciated their flexibility to take it in last minute.

Very happy with front desk service & service bay workers.
Paid a little more than I expected however my car runs extremely well & the service I received is worth that little extra I'm paying.

Took my car in for an issue I was having with my sunroof. It had become jammed slightly open and could no longer close. I was immediately met with the mechanic telling me how bad it looked the second I drove in to the shop, quoting me $14k before even touching the car. I then left it with them for 3 days. They came back telling me that it would cost me at least $15K, they needed to replace the entire sunroom, custom parts, 4 week job ect. Obviously this was very concerning. When I went to pick up the car I was advised by a mechanic there to take the car down a back alley, smash the roof and bring it back to him so he could put it through as an insurance job. This raised massive alarm bells. I took the car for an other opinion and the quote on the job totaled $1800.

Absolute crooks, I hate to think how many people they have ripped off over the years! Avoid this place at all costs.

Don’t go near this outfit. They will rip you
off big time. They wanted to charge me nearly $2000 for “necessary repairs” to qualify for a pink slip. I told them I thought it was an outrageous amount. The office girl who relayed the information
was inexperienced and struggled to explain the issues. Thankfully I got a 2nd opinion from another mechanic in the area who did necessary work for less than $200. I’ve since heard similar stories from

Highly recommend. They booked me in immediately, took the time to do a thorough service and very honestly pointed out what needed urgent attention vs what could wait for next service. Also really appreciated Steve’s follow up and the patience of the girl at the front desk. I already booked in my next service with them.

I moved to Bondi when I returned from living in New York about 18 months ago. I have a vintage car, and Carology have become my trusted local workshop. They can do the little things well, but their team has the experience and expertise to do the more significant work also. Spend a little time there and you’ll be able to tell they have a bunch of regular customers and that they love and care about what they do - normally pretty good indicators for a business.

Carology were quick and efficient. We needed 4 new tyres and a big service, they got the job done in just a few hours. The car is driving great now! Thanks guys.

Unnecessary repairs, very expensive, wouldn't recommend to anyone, marketing garage more then repair garage

After living overseas for the better part of two decades, returning home presented many challenges. Finding trustworthy tradespeople like plumbers, electricians and of course mechanics etc, is certainly not an easy task. Fortunately, I had a few friends that recommended Carology.

In the couple of years that Ive been home now, would like to think we have built a strong relationship, and I have no hesitancy in suggesting they are the best shop from front to back in the entire East. Steve, Flynn, Lounis and the crew continue to do a thorough job and are always happy to pass on sage advice with both my vehicles, and motorbike as well. Liraz and the other ladies in the office have always been courteous, polite and very welcoming.usually with a funny story or two!

As long as Im in Sydney, will have no issue returning to Carology with any of my vehicles. Might even borrow a friends tractor one day, take it down there just to see the looks on their faces.guessing they would likely have a diesel mechanic to fix it though anyway!

These guys are absolute legends if you want someone other than your run of the mill mechanics. Highly recommended, especially for performance modifications.
