Capitol Theatre reviews
72CC row gave me neck pain. Even I could not enjoy the show. Grap D or behind if you want to have a good seat. So call VIP seat was so disappointing. I wasted my money and time. Feel scammed.
Spectacular theatre where we saw Beauty and the Beast. The theatre itself was well maintained with meticulous detail to enhance the experience of the show and to transport you into the magical world of the show you're seeing. We were at the top level in a booth and felt like royalty! The seats themselves were a little lumpy however this was a minor complaint. Most seats would have a decent view and the special effects were breathtaking. Close to Central station and the Haymarket area. Can't wait for the next show
Great show, Terrible food service, was told to preorder food for the intermission to avoid a wait, ended up waiting in 3 seperate lines and getting sent to a different counter each time
Great place to stay, close the theatre. Parking available at affordable overnight rates. Nice room clean and tidy. Plenty of restaurants and cafes within an easy walk, even in the rain.
A beautiful theatre with well trained staff. The staff all were calm and friendly, and their focus on making sure people put phones away and enjoy the show was refreshing to see too. Well done
I love this theatre. It's a beautiful place to see a show. And the staff are always lovely and friendly. I love any excuse to be at the Capitol
Beautiful Traditional theatre - feel like you are gooing back in time. Just beware - cannot take in your glass of bubbly so need to drink up in intermission or get a plastic cup.ugh
Lovely old theatre. Heritage listed. Beautiful architecture. Definitely going to see more entertainment there in the future.
Love this beautiful theatre. Come from Away was unexpectedly funny & a really good show.
It's so easy to get to from Central Station. If you can, don't waste money, time & fuel driving & parking.
Amazing theatre! Love the building and the decoration inside! It was the first time I went there and everything was great!
It’s quite a big space, so I would recommend sitting closer to the stage if you want to see the faces well.
Beautiful restored theatre. Mostly long run musicals. Located on the edge of the CBD it is easy to get to.
Saw Come From Away. It was a fabulous story and performance. A must see if you enjoy live theatre.
Beautifully styled theatre, all the seats have decent views. It is not well suited to those with mobility issues though.
I just love the decor of the theatre Come From Away was magnificent.
To see a performance with soo much energy was amazing.
Quirky theatre, looks sort of like the garden of a wealthy ancient Roman? Seen many great productions there, latest was Come From Away!
A great theatre. Very atmospheric. Comfortable seats. Good sound quality too. The show: Come From Away - excellent!
Great to get back to the theatre and always enjoyable to visit this old girl. Well organised and friendly staff managing COVID requirements with seamless timed entry, easy registration and ticket collection. A great afternoon.
Took my (nearly 28yo) daughter to see Frozen. Wowwwww! My first theatre experience was a wonderful and amazing experience. Many congrats and thank you for an exceptional performance. I was laughing and crying? , so much talent, so beautiful
Watched Frozen the musical here - a great theatre for performances. The stairs are a little steeper and trickier to climb than most other theatres (especially for kids) so be careful not to trip!
