Burnt Orange reviews
68The food was good but pricy. The music was too loud and detracted from the overall experience and amazing views. Push to be sat on the veranda if possible.
Great lunch and great spot.
Disappointed they could alter high tea to accommodate for lactose intolerance.
Not sure what happened to this place. I was here a while ago and I remember I really enjoyed the food and the vibe. There is no love in the food, no pride in food presentation and there is no pleasure in hospitality either even though staff was professional. And for the price it is definitely not worth it.
PS. Waitress did say that Benedict sauce was really good there. Yes it was but overall it was a bare plate with dry buns, nice salmon and a little dollop of tomato chutney. Won’t be back and won’t be recommending this place to Sydney visitors.at least for now.hoping you’ll be making some good changes guys, it’s a great spot! All the best!
Food came around 3 minutes after ordering. If i wanted fast food, i could have gone to maccas for less than half the price. Will not come back.
I found this place to be quite pretentious. Came here for breakfast and felt a bit unwelcome by the waitress. The food was average and overpriced.
We went there to have breakfast on a Sunday morning. While it was busy we got a table without wait. Once we ordered we got our food within 5min. While that sounds great at first, that also means the food wasn't prepared freshly. We ordered the full breakfast stack and pancakes. It was okay but value for money was just not good if considered the quality and taste. We will probably not come back here.
Greeted in an offhand and abrupt manner by the male manager? Told we were too early (30 minutes). When I asked if there was somewhere we could sit/wait, he said " Go and look in the shop" and then ignored us.
Very nice restaurant/cafe. The food was good and the staff were nice. It’s a nice hidden place in Mosman. Nice fish and salads. They also have healthy options here.
Beautiful location but the food was very average and very expensive. Had to send back one of our meals and wait for a new dish to be made. Disappointed because it should have been a really lovely afternoon.
Was looking forward to High Tea with four adults and one child. Disappointed at the tier for 4. Child had her own small stand. Not large eaters but amazed at small amount of food. The lack of sandwiches was amazing. Felt our table either should have had another stand or at least more food than was provided for the price. Poor value. Family celebration too which didn’t help.
Perfect location, great atmosphere and a well presented breakfast using quality ingredients. Definitely worth a visit
Always a good spot to go for a nice meal or just a coffee. Beautiful view over the harbour and the heads. It is recommended to book, especially on weekends.
Rather noisy - not the best place for a quiet catch up with friends or a romantic rendezvous with a paramour. Food was reasonable and prices okay given the lovely setting. Service also good if just a little quick to clear your plate. Not sure that we will make the trek up Military Road again.
Nice location and setting, Shame about the food, Probably best for a cup of coffee / cake with Grandma next time.
I had heard this place was a hidden gem. Certainly a nice location, with views over water. The styling is also country chic. The prices are expensive.
Given the high standard of food on the North shore / Sydney, we expected decent things.
Overall portions are small, the burger cannot be cooked anything but well done.
The service was good
Probably best for a cup of coffee / cake with Grandma next time.
Amazing venue great view. Very easy to deal with too. Service Was great very efficient and the food came very quickly. Held a baby shower with 14 guests and ordered a gluten free cake through them. Def recommend.
Great for brunch. Kitchen is closed between 11am and 12pm when it opens for lunch. Cold food available though
Food was amazing and uber tasty/great value and awesome sized serves. Service was impeccable. Scenery and decor was beautiful. Vibe was relaxed yet classy. Venue offers so much for so many different scenarios and occasions
The food was absolutely disgusting. Cold coffee, sent back the food as the toast was soggy and bacon fatty and not cooked. Returned the meal with burnt bacon and burnt toast. The manager was so rude. Overpriced and simply not worth it.
Attended on Father's Day for breakfast and it was crowded. Trying to push through as many patrons as possible unfortunately meant service slipped and food was disappointing, it was cold when it got to the table. It was certainly not up to their normal standards.
Absolutely amazing and such a beautiful location. So happy to be introduced to this restaurant. The staff were lovely and very kind. A great father's day. Will definitely be going back there again.
