Disappointing. Food was served cold. Medium steak was over done and burnt. Was so excited to try this restaurant for so long but it was a big let down and overpriced for the quality

I've been to Burnt Orange numerous times but today might make it my last. Due to being a group (12) we had to have the set menu. I'm vegetarian and the shared starter is 90% meat. The main was terrible! 2 pieces of.wait for it.radish with a couple of mushrooms and asparagus. The presentation was great but $70 for radish is totally unacceptable. I hope they fix the menu ASAP.

High Tea for a bridal shower, I had contacted and booked months in advance and was so disappointed with the service received this was a special day and was little compensated for the mis management received.

This has been one of my favourite places to come to.its relaxing, you can sit and watch the world go by, enjoy the views and just relax. We had a bottle of wine and some food to eat. The menu (food and wine) has been paired back due to COVID which makes sense. I missed the mezze platter which makes it an easy choice for vegetarians in thr group. The server was kind enough to organise a larger avocado salad, and the food is fresh and a pleasure to enjoy.

Booked a 30 person baby shower here. Venue was lovely, food delicious and the staff was friendly and attentive!

Great views and ambience, but food is a bit over rated. Looks good but taste was underwhelming for that price point.

Pricy lunch on weekends with 10% surcharge and not many to choose from. Breakfast finishes at 11: 20am. Good view but mediocre food.

Slightly disappointing. We went for breakfast on Saturday expecting it to be fantastic. The venue is beautiful. Service was ok, given there weren't many there it should have been better. Our food came out very quickly - obviously pre cooked which slightly surprised us at $24 each. & just very basic, not bad but underwhelming. This place has a great reputation but there's better options around.

Good view, excellent service, decently priced. The quantity of food served is very good and presentation of food is excellent. Will be back again.

Weird staff honestly got his back up over a coffee order. Remember burnt orange coffee is culture make it the way a customer asks. Got a piccolo as a long mac topped up. I didn't kick a fuss food was great and will be back great fitout or original building. Then ordered a piccolo just to test it haha

Been there for lunch with friends. None of us liked their dishes. I'll speak for Superfood salad - it was dry and overpriced. For 28.6 (it includes public holiday surcharge) you pretty much get a bowl of kale. All other ingredients listed on the menu were of a minimum quantity - I think for that price you could add more pumpkin and tomatoes, and more avocado could help. Disappointed!

Place has a nice restaurant and staff, but prices were a bit steep, especially for a take away coffee.

Beautifully cooked food! The superfood salad was absolutely amazing, never had i tasted kale salad soooo good before. We also had the fish pie which was good. And the bomb alaska for dessert. The view is amazing. Staff is friendly.
Can do with aiconditioning though on a 37 deg day.

Arrived 2hrs before close.only few tables used all the rest of the restaurant was empty.the guy asked us if we booked and been to check with his colleagues if any table was available (the restaurant was empty). Ok why not.then after been seat at the table with an amazing view, I decide to order a fresh juice. "sorry it's close". 2hrs before the end of service.why not.then we decided to order a High Tea. "sorry you should book 24hrs before". Wow. 24hrs for some fingers sandwiches and cakes. So instead to do like, at least 50$ by head for the high tea, they did 20$. That's it. I can understand there are some process to respect but working in this industry for a while I know where is the priority.the food is great but the service.but their business, not mine.

Great atmosphere, excellent service but food quality has really gone down on some item (not all). We got the burger and it was honestly one of the most average burgers. Chips were luke warm and cardboardy and the burger has no seasoning to speak of, I've not had a burger that bland in some time. Someone else had the market fish though and that was pretty good. My coffee also tasted quite burnt and was a latte but came with loads of powdered chocolate which isn't bad, but really was no different from the cappuccino we also ordered. To me it seems they have cut corners on some menu items for speed and it's just unfortunate if you order one of those "optimised" menu items. All things considered, i came out of the restaurant feeling a little ripped off given the price to quality of the food. I guess you're really just paying for atmosphere and service.

Sadly this place is victim to bad service and bad attitude. The rather rude woman standing at the cash register saw us walk up. Looked us in the eyes and got back to writing on the notepad. Another waiter whizzed by, no acknowledgement. Clearly this is their way of dealing with people. ‍️

Lovely venue with gorgeous views. Perfectly suited for all special occasions especially Mother's Day even a business meeting during the week when its quiet. It can get quite busy though on the weekends. The teas are very good and coffee is nice and strong. Food is substantial and of high quality. They make the best scones and banana bread. The shop next door is an added bonus and adds a lovely flare. Parking is close by but expect to pay. There isn't any street parking. Staff are generally quite friendly and attentive. Nice place for those seeking some peace and quiet.

The views were beautiful, the tea was great and service was ordinary. I ordered the dairy free high tea and I paid $50 for a small bowl of browned bananas and 2 strawberries, one mouth full of a salad, coconut yogurt with 2 blueberries, one mushy inedible protein ball and an awful brownie. The one sliver of a sandwich was the only edible food item. I was starving and my friends had to offer their food so I could eat something. Dairy free also means gluten and taste free. I suggest if you don’t eat dairy you don’t waste your time and money.

Fantastic location and view. Food is exquisite but on the pricey side. We were a bit disregarded by the waiter and the aperol spritz we orderes was more like lemon lime bitters but thankful for the replacement.
