Bunnings Randwick reviews
84Guys, you need to do something with the extremely rude and unhelpful team that you find working during weekdays mornings. They almost bark at you if u ask any question. Nothing to do with the super friendly and helpful afternoon team (I think they are students:) )
Love this store but the african man at the front check out was very rude to me for no apparent reason, i had to look elsewhere to to enquire where to find a product
No more building supplies makes it pretty useless for anyone handy. Don’t bother just go to Alexandria instead.
Just go to east gardens, this place isn’t worth the time it takes to park your car. The shelves are so empty you can see from the front to the back. If it shut down it wouldn’t be missed
Fantastic staff. I only review places I like and the staff here are super helpful. For once the place lives up to the ads.
I wanted to find out if the Randwick store continues to stock 15L liquid chlorine and 5L hydrochloric acid after their renovation. The first time I called I was cut off. The second time I got through but gave up after waiting 15 minutes without anyone answering. I tried their website and the dedicated Bunnings App. Both were useless.
Small, inconvenient, and horribly out of stock. Eastern suburbs is dying for a better Bunnings.
The only Bunnings in the whole country to exist in non-Euclidian space! The staff are very nice but the selection of bolts/hardware is never stocked properly, so it's a 50/50 chance you'll be able to get those M3 wing nuts or not.
Never answer their phones! On top of that if you call them, it goes to automated voicemail and puts you on silent hold so you have to guess if someone is answering or not.
Very different to other bunnings as it multi storey, no similarities with item locations, limited stock
Becoming a complete waste of time visiting this Bunnings has no stock of anything. Better off visiting a petrol station or Coles
Avoid if you don't want your day ruined by voldemort. If you must, look for younger staff, theres these 2 grumpy old dudes there with zilch customer service training.
Honestly. Give this place a miss. They don’t have much of a selection of stuff at the best of times - assuming they do have stock of what should be on the shelf anyway, and if you need some help from a member of staff then the best of luck with that - they aren’t really interested in my experience. I am local and try to support local business but will be avoiding this Bunnings if I can. Try the Mitre 10 in Bondi Junction instead. They genuinely to try to help and have a broader selection of many everyday bit and pieces despite having a small shop.
Extremely rude and unhelpful staff member (older man) in plumbing/ tap section. Shouldn't be employed in a customer service role but perhaps on the assembly line instead.
Really small! Parking is on the roof, with elevator access across all 3 floors. Item selection is limited.
Had one of the best customer experiences ever with Julian and Greyson a months back. I brought in a piece of Oak I wanted to seal and have a certain finish so Julian took time to show me the products and demonstrate how they would both look on my piece of Oak, even drying it with a hairdryer to get the final finish. All up probably a 25 minute interaction. Not many people give you that kind of time these days just to buy some timber sealer. Awesome work gents, much appreciated
Parking continues to be an issue. On-site parking is available, however the access ramp is steep, bays are tight, and not much room to manoeuvre your vehicle on upper level.
Would never recommend this Bunnings unless you live close by. Rooftop carpark is tiny and congested
Phoned twice and waited for at least 10 minutes for someone to answer the phone, then gave up. Very poor customer service.
Went to Bunnings for a drive and collect. Have done this a few times before at Randwick. Today no one at the drive entrance but a male Bunnings employee at the entrance on a pray mat praying. Eventually another Bunnings employee came to our car to check us in. Not impressed that someone who is supposed to be working serving customers is neglecting his duties and being paid to pray, Glad I am not a Bunnings shareholder.
Fortunately once we were on the roof top we were helped by a lovely Bunnings employee, David. Who was working very hard moving pallets, potting mix etc and also serving customers ALL on his own. David was very very helpful and restored my opinion of Bunnings. However Bunnings needs to address the poor service from the employee on the footpath praying who was supposed to check us in and should not be ignoring customers and praying, APPALLING!
