Very disappointing out come from the Manager "Mathew" and an outrages comment from him from Blacktown Bunnings. I bought an Aqua Systems 7.5m Fitted Soaker Hose for $5.95 (regular price), it is cheap so I didn't keep the receipt thinking i wouldn’t need it. I stored it and when I took it out today after a while to use it for the first time, found that front end came busted, after turning the water on. So I took it back to Blacktown, the front counter return cashier named "TALYAH" refused to exchange with the same product without receipt, I only wanted an exchange NOT a refund, so I requested for the manager and Mathew (manager) came and said the same thing adding to it quote " This is cheap for a reason".

I have always known that if no receipt than you are allowed to exchange for the same product or a credit at the least in most cases. So I went to another Bunnings store to get it exchanged, and it was NO QUESTION ASKED EXCHANGED.

Now this is the first time I am writing a negative feedback for a Bunnings store. I love going to bunnings but what Mathew did today over $5.95 was not just unprofessional but also made unethical comment. He didn't think twice for the customer satisfaction side of it. This is sad, I hope the area manager steps in and coach the manager to deal with customer in a better manner and with respect.

I don't know how much of it was worth it for him to put me in this embarrassing situation over $5.95. My question to the Area Manager- was this really necessary?

Other bunnings strives to keep a good name and a great customer service, I hope this review helps the management to make a little change, care a bit more for the customer like any other Bunnings store.

Worst customer service. Even though i was waiting for click collect. The staff kept serving other people and also those who came after me. While i was waiting, i could see 5 other staff just chatting away with each other. Although they saw me, they didn't care and carried on chatting.

Looking for a 300 X 600 door vent, don't have any, staff member said Minchinbury has some, Minchinbury has less than Blacktown. How can you guys get this so wrong? Wasting people's time like this, not cool. So I guess I'll order one from the supplier. Oh yeah, 1 staff member at the trade desk is not enough, and your website is bloody terrible.

Convenient location not but not always easy to get someone to help you out. Not sure if it's because im generally visiting after 5pm or staff constraints.

Its yr typical bunnings with the extra helpful staff. I visited in the morning to timidly make my way past the two ladies at the front engrossed in talk of girl's things. Not being an authority on such matters, i walked myself off to the young (er), strapping lass stroking a leaf blower with much the same affection a nanny would, a toddler. I asked her where i could find what i needed. Oil 17, came the answer. Armed with this knowledge i went where i had never been before but could not find the elusive goods. A rotund lad appeared like a bob cat from nowhere and offered to help.

I got what i needed and proceeded to billing where a true blue beauty awaited. This was one of those times, you feel like buying more just to linger near the cashier.

Alas, I was back off in my car where i tuned back into Englebert Humperdinck and drove off into the sunset.

Just at bunnings after welding job gas get to bunnings out of the whole store no one to exchange bottles they said the person down that end just went on a break so come back tomorrow

I went to Bunnings to exchange some faulty locks and was greeted rudely, without even a hey, and told to put on a mask. I understand the laws, but I am a chronic asthma patient who has been given the all-clear to shop without a mask. Then a blonde lady at the returns and exchange counter was giving me grief about a purchase I made a week before before purchasing the expensive locks for my job. They said there wasn't much of a problem when these locks wouldn't even work they were quite expensive and had quite a commotion with the blonde lady around 6: 20pm after cohersing her it wasn't my fault I heard the lady at the front and the blonde lady bickering behind my back I will never return to that store, where the staff is usually polite and where I buy a lot of my tools.

Worst customer service ever. Asked 2 different staff members, they both pointed into the general direction of items saying it's around there. Didn't even bother asking for other staff to help look. In the end I just stopped pushing the trolley full of items and left the store. Rather wait for ALDI special buys than waste my time searching for items shown as available online but don't actually exist.

Relatively good customer service, was better when Mario in the tool shop was working, he was a very knowledgeable man and always happy to help.

If I could give it 0 stars I would.
This Bunnings is ridiculous. My fiancé just come back from there in a huff about how ridiculous their customer service was.
He had to do everything himself. Apart from a kind gentlemen (fellow shopper) who held his trolley for him while he pushed a heavy item on the trolley, that's about the only help he got.
Asked for help because a table was in the middle of an isle, the worker makes him help move the table and walks off, didn't see him again. Asked another worker for help, she was on her break. Asked another worker for help tells him to go to the timber section to get a different trolley. Gets to the timber section, asks a worker for the trolley location, tells him to go to the car park. Finally gets a trolley and he still can't get help to load the item.
Absolutely the worst customer service.
Not our first terrible experience either.
Definitely won't go there again.

Had a fabulous experience with staff member kaniz at Bunnings blacktown yestrday afternoon was really helpful and just plain lovely. Also her colleague Emma they are really helpful
appreciated all their help and kindness. They should be acknowledged as great representatives of Bunnings

Called them to check any van available for hire. 24minutes on hold nobody answer.again called them 18 minutes on hold no answer.very happy customer

Very helpful staff. Especially the middle aged gentleman named Michael in the lighting section and also another gentleman of the same age group in the bathroom fittings section I cant recall his name. Both of them have true passion for helping customers. Not only they helped me choose the right product but also sometime extend additional help with loading heavy items like vanity in your car. What else can I ask for. I am delighted to see people like you in Bunnings. May God bless you guys.

Went in Bunnings to Buy flyscreen lock asked two staff for help one of them while talking to me got busy with his personal mobile call and left me there and then went to other lady who didn't had any clue but instead of calling someone told me it's not her department.pathetic service

Bunnings Blacktown, NSW warehouse is a great shopping experience for the do-it-yourself home renovator, a big warehouse with helpful and friendly staff, you will find almost anything you need here to complete your home project and if they don't have something they can most likely order it in for you, plenty of parking in front of the store and the home delivery service is very efficient too.

Staff lack customer service. You could be waiting to be served at a desk and staff have their back to you. Staff not willing to show you where things are. It's just over there! Limited stocks on store on a number of times I have visited.
Though the large gentleman at the paint counter went over and above to help me with a number of issues I had to colour match exterior paint.
