Bunnings Ashfield has a great range of products and the staff always have time to help find stuff if you are looking for it. If they are busy you can search the item on the Bunnings website and it will tell you the correct aisle too!

Worst store experience, I had my came to film for my YouTube channel which was a DIY project. At the door the door peeps on said I can’t use camera inside. I was like okay sire. I had my camera on my lanyard.

I was being followed and watched by 3 people for an hour. It was the most uncomfortable experience and we felt like we were being racially profiled. Me and my friend friend with me felt very uncomfortable and very sad. We did nothing wrong and I don’t believe anyone should ever have an experience like this.

Bunnings Ashfield is very selective on who to ask whether people are from the same household to enforce the only 1 person from each household rule. Picking on the easy-picks, racially for instance.
Caucasian husbands & wives, brothers etc are not asked if they're from the same household but just let through.

When those couples are pointed out, a rather belligerent Michael the floor manager just shrugs saying they can't always get them. He should have gone after them to escort one of the couple out - especially if they've been pointed out.
Apply the rule to all.not just to easy picks.
Tuesday 5th Oct 2pm.

Typical mid-sized Bunnings. Relatively busy. Occasionally hard to find items on shelves. Other stores can have better range/stock levels, so worth checking online.

People at the front are very rude, the guy at the front asked if we are from the same household - very selective on who to pick - a family with 3 kids were let out before us in contrast to one of us were requested to stay outside in the rain. Apply the same rule to all.

Used Click and collect several times in lockdown, staff were always friendly and helpful. I was able to book a direct pickup in the morning. Items delivered to the boot of the car without me needing to enter the store. COVID safe.
Turn around times got longer, but this was due to the dynamic and changing nature of the COVID19 restrictions.
Had issue with one item, emailed customer service and it was resolved quickly.

This is the worst bunnings I’ve been too. They always have limited stock and their garden section is much to be desired… go to Gladesville instead!

Staff Dagmar is very friendly, making very nice coffee for my family while we are doing shopping @ Ashfield store today. Thanks Dagmar for your excellent service! Thanks Bunnings Ashfield!

The women in the garden section were dressed up in halloween costumes having a great ol time today, while all around everywhere were wilted or dead/dying plants.
We left, with just the potting mix.

Was great service 11 months ago but when l went in again the bald guy in the rat section was very rude and unkind. The aisle was closed off on one end so l walked around to the other end of the aisle as l could see it wasn't closed off. He closed if off on purpose when he saw me coming around the corner. Very bad service. Very rude man!

Watching the security guard look at 2 people getting out of a car, asking the question ‘are you together’ they say no…. And allows them in. We answer truthfully… denied entry. Ordinary

At last someone is open and within 5 kliks.
At least we can potter around in the garden.
It was quite refreshing to shop for a change

Click and collect service is dreadful - the money was taken for the order and that is the last I have heard. If I could give zero stars I would.

Had a really bad experience. I'm a regular customer who is at this Bunnings frequently.

My wife and I had a bad experience with the manager and another staff member who were defensive and intimidating. I raised a complaint and unfortuntely it got to the same manage who wrote an essay of an email, continuing the defensive stance. I'm now trying to escalate the issue because the email response from the manager was unsatisfactory.

Forget about ordering online from here. My order is getting dispatched from Bunnings at Rouse Hill. Been waiting 9 days to receive delivery and I only live 800m away. Everything I ordered was listed as available at Ashfield.

Not suitable for tradies who want to drop and purchase what they need. There's not a single trolley in the store, all being used for click and collect. There were so many staff working and non of them would ask if I needed help. Had to go outside the store and bring one in from the carpark and come through the trade centre to go to the end of the store to pick up some items and push the trolley out through the trade area again. Been to other stores in the LGA of concern and they were a lot better in serving their customers. If it's going to like that they better shutting the store completely and have "click and collect" only.

Glum and entirely unfriendly store to visit. When looking at paints the staff member told me I had 4 minutes to ask questions before his shift ended so that was a rushed and non informative experience. Cashier was a sour faced woman who should have been shelved years ago, around the same time she lost any ability to smile or assist. This middle aged joyless woman made it overwhelmingly clear that having to remove a few items from what had been purchased was an inconvenient chore to such an awkward level I will never return to this store.

Important location, very busy queue, bring your patientance with you this store has high volume small sales, high staff turn over and the customers in these areas are tight and question everything
