Buildfix

Buildfix did an excellent job stabilising and lifting our foundations using their GeoPoly resin. The house is over 100 years old and sits on reactive clay, and due to it being unmaintained before we owned it, there was significant cracking on the brickwork both internally and externally.

We chose to underpin the whole of the house to ensure we had consistent results and received quotes from many companies who specialise in resin injection underpinning. The general feedback from the other quotes was that due to variable ground conditions they couldn't predict how much resin would be required so had to include a variable component to the quote (charging per kg over estimate). This did not sit well with us and Buildfix clearly stood out because of their fixed price quote and general reputation.

The work was carried out by Jordan and Jack across 3 days with about 80 injection points staggered under every masonry section of the foundation. They were able to achieve consistent lift across the whole foundation and for the most heavily sunken area were able to lift approx 35mm and partially close up the cracks which was a fantastic result.

I'm very happy to recommend Buildfix. All of the people involved in the process including Chris the structural consultant, Irene in the office, and Jordan and Jack were easy to work with.

Really happy working with the crew from Buildfix. Jack and Jordon were great at communicating what was happening, and explaining why certain decisions were being made. The Geopoly process didn't magically fix all of my doors and wall cracks, but I do feel much more confident that my house is safe and secure.

Build fix did an amazing job on repairing a major crack in my wall along with a subsidence issue. The professionalism and organization of the entire process is on another level. Daf and the team were so informative along the way and workmanship was second to none. I cannot thank Daf enough for the outstanding job that he has achieved. Definitely recommend buildfix.

Footing subsidence and cracked brickwork starting to bulge. Buildfix rectified the work and strengthened with Helical bars. All concerned were polite, professional and informative, especially Jack who took photographs for me. Six months later the job looks to be in excellent condition. I would recommend them highly.

I cannot recommend Buildfix highly enough. All their guys were great - on time, really friendly and helpful, did a fantastic job and cleaned up after themselves. They took the time to explain everything to me every step of the way and did exactly what they promised. To top it all off they saved us a fortune as we had previously been advised that we needed to demolish and rebuild the garage, and they fixed it for a fraction of the cost.

Buildfix were outstanding from Eadie as co-ordinator, Joe as Structural engineer to Jordan/Joe the underpinning technicians and Damien doing wall cracks. I couldnt speak highly enough about the way they went about their business from quote, communications, fulfillment and even billing/invoicing). All trade services should aspire to be like these guys (these guys went above my high expectations).

The Buildfix customer service team is highly commended for their prompt response to my enquiry. Their assessor, Joe was pleasant to deal with and thorough with his assessment. Damien, the Technical Team Lead, whom did the repairs was pleasant to work with. He was very thorough and happily accommodated a little extra repair work which we pointed out to him later. At completion of work, he tidied up and removed all debris for disposal.
The repair was done in November 2022, and we are completely pleased with the outcome. Thank you Buildfix.

I never have given a review on services or products in the past, but i feel compelled to provide one for this very professional company. From the initial dealings with Joe to the underpinning performed by Jordan and Jack and then followed by the Damp proofing injection performed by Damien, where all were extremely professional, caring and all took time to explain the process. In an era where mediocracies in trades is a norm, it is a breath of fresh air to know that there is still companies like Buildfix out there.

I don't normally leave reviews but I wanted to for Buildfix.
The whole process from initial quoting, through booking, completing the job and post completion was just fantastic. The whole eperience was smooth, and all the team were very friendly and explained the process really well. I would highly recommed the team at Buildfix.

When I read the reviews of Buildfix I seriously though they were too good to be true. Now I'm writing the same sort of review. This is a very efficient, professional company. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, at the price they quoted. The communication was exceptional. The conduct of the work confidence inspiring and the care they took was exceptional. This job has been worrying me for years. I expected it to take weeks and it was all done in less than three days. They left the work site clean as if they hadn't been. I have to check the work a few times a day to check that I didn't dream this. I should mention that one company I contacted said this was too hard, three others are yet to even turn up to do the assessment. Meanwhile Buildfix said, "No problem". I will not name names because I found that the Buildfix people are all the best you can hope to find. Just going out again to check that I this isn't a dream.

I booked in an inspection because I recently bought a house and after removing all carpet, the floor was a bit sloping down. Joe from Buildfix came in and did a lot of measurement of levels over the floor. He confirmed that the house is structural sound, and suggested us getting in builder to jet up the floor from underneath, which is something they do not do. Joe is truly professional and advised us what to do even though we are not giving them business.

The entire process was professional. From the quoting meeting through to completion, the tradesman turned up on time, were very respectful, and cleaned up the site better that what it was when they arrived. Can absolutely recommend.

Tradesman arrived as arranged, very courteous and friendly, informed us of their rectification process, fast and efficient process, pier restored to original specifications in 2hrs. Thoughly recommend the company for rectification work
