Broken Hill Visitor Information Centre reviews
62Lots of souvenirs and maps and knowledgeable staff about visiting Broken Hill and surrounding area.i highly recommend them
A very good tourist information centre. We found out everything we needed to know about Broken Hill. A good range of souvenirs at a reasonable price and very helpful staff.
Needs more better quality souvenirs only one handicapped park, already used staff friendly lack of clothing variety and colours
Great cafe for coffee and a very helpful staff to fill your stay in Broken Hill with guided tours maps and hand made items a first place to go to.
Very friendly staff who were more than happy yo answer any enquiries. I was able to book a camosite easily and given heaps of info on the area.
Busy centre and they spend a lot of time with each customer.
20 min in line and $20 deposit for dump point key, hand over money and they don't have key "it must be out there". I request my $20 deposit back. "No we give it back when you bring the key back" I go outside and they are doing inspection on it, 20 min wait then they leave me with key. I do the deed then head back inside for another 20 min wait to get my deposit back.
Touring the Broken Hill area? Want the 'good oil' on what to see, where to go and who to talk to? Drop into the BH VIC and engage the friendly, helpful staff for your answers. Enjoy a coffee and pastry while scouring your map. Check out the souvenir stands. Then head out to see a remarkable outback region.
Today was the third time we have used the Broken Hill Visitors Information Centre and like the other times they were so helpful, obliging, and friendly. We would go so far as to say that this centre is the best one we have ever used in the past 10 years of our traveling.
Absolutely the most cheerful, efficient and helpful Information Centre staffer that I've ever been helped by. Wish I'd grabbed her name, but. "Thanks so much! "
A very helpful information service. Very willing to help and assist with places to go around the Broken Hill district.
Amazing Knowledgeable Staff. So friendly and accommodating even informing us of thing we hadn't even thought to ask about. Thank you so much. Your information helped our stay be so much more enjoyable.
Staff doing their best but. Very busy. Free Wi-Fi is only 1/2 hour. No powerpoints. Good coffee.
If they stayed open until 6 pm, or better still after the Explorer arrives on Monday, would help.
We have visited Broken Hill on several occasions and particularly benefit from the Information Centre.
Plenty of information available for those looking for something to do in Broken Hill. There is also a walking tour that leaves the information centre. There are also videos about Broken Hill
Had hopeless information.talking to locals got us what we needed to know! There is actually a camping store, kings adventure warehouse.next door to the tyre shop near Coles.
This should be your first port of call when you roll into town for the first time. They have all the info about town you could want here, and a lot of info about the rest of Australia too. The staff know all about the area and were able to answer all the questions I asked them about Broken Hill. I picked up a fair few maps (and souvenirs) here too. Bonus, there’s also a coffee shop within the same building.
Very helpful. Gloria Jeans coffee shop in same building.dump point inder awning at the back but not signposted. Fresh water too.
The lady on the front desk was a wealth of information. Like speaking with a tour guide. We stayed fo 2 days and did most of ehat she recommended. Congratulations Broken Hill Information Centre the best in Australia. Dump point, showers water, highly recommend this place.
