Big W Jesmond

I found this Big W to be unremarkable, and also not quite remarkable. Like most other Big W. I bought a nice plant holder though which was good, and there wasn't a queue

Prefer going here over Westfield Kotara. Much easier to access, the Big W is next to one of the main entrances. Convenient to get in and out.

Fairly large although I find the men's section a bit limited in variety, but I guess that's the standard for these types of stores. Women's clothes section is much bigger.

Had digital printing kiosks, a decent size sports section. Party shop area.

There's everything you need here from school clothes and stationery to bags books and much more. Women's children's and men's clothing to babyswear.all on one level adds to the ease for those with mobility problems. Wheelchairs are available for use from the centres help desk. Disabled parking is available.

Great customer service.always a pleasure to drop by and pick up what i need. Lovely staff that always smile and say hi.especially the supervisors at self checkouts that are always willing to assist you

Jesmond is an interesting setting. There is a plethora of things to seek if you take the time.
Coming into Jesmond, there was plenty of options.
If you are looking, there is a wealth of opportunity. Not only for yourself, but the others that are wondering how much fun or not.
I stopped to chat with an elderly gent, but he had a twinkle in his eye.
Looked. So off i toddled.
Around the corner my friend met me and low and behold, what i was looking for was right in front of me.
So i toddled on.

There is a message. Any time you catch an eye, the whole world will be better off.

One of my favorite places to shop, so much to choose from, bags and staff need an overhaul, neither up to scratch!

Take care walking in the Carpark and inside the centre.
It appears no one has any consideration of the fact it's a Carpark and not a racetrack, my elderly farther was beeped at and caused whilst crossing the pedestrian crossing, and once you're inside you're confronted with rude people who take up the whole walk way and do not move forcing you to stop and often move into a store doorway to prevent walking into each other.

If you're elderly or are sometimes overwhelmed by your surroundings always have someone with you.

Much more security is required both in and out of the centre to ensure everyone's safety.

Big W Jesmond is my local store. It is always a pleasant, trouble free, familiar shopping experience.

Great store with lots of stock. If it’s not available elsewhere it may be worth a try to see if they have stock in your size etc.staff are friendly and the store is right at the entry.
Parking is a bit hit and miss and walking through the car park is not the best as people are oblivious to pedestrians.

Never enough cash registers open, often over heated and parking is not always easy to find. On a good note has a variety of goods which cover a wide range of needs

If I could put 0 stars I would. Flat out refused to replace or refund a faulty product. Does not even follow the guidelines on the reciept.

The male staff who assists with customer self check-out was very impatient and unprofessional, i needed assist with the stuff i bought being too light so the machine cannot sense it so i asked politely for his assistance, then he came over with that how dare you disturb me look on his face and tabbed his staff id heavily on screen (yes thats all he needs to do) and then walked off, without even looking at me! Wow.i was like.do you have any idea of what your here for? Srsly! Bad bad customer service, i d never go there again!

A nice big store, but never enough stock to fill it, so appears forever empty. Staff are nearly non-existent, at most times there's not even a single staff member on checkouts, so you're stuck using self service. Staff are generally quite rude and unhelpful. The stock is good though, and unlike Kmart, the clothes actually last more than 1 wash! Good as a source for most general supplies, much better than Kmart and Target, and better priced and quality than Kmart. Good for stock quality and price, bad for everything else.

So angry. I went to get balloons for my sons birthday which is tomorrow morning. I walked around for 10 minutes choosing balloons only to be told (once I had chosen) that they couldn't inflate them because it was 20 mins before they were closing.how long does it take to inflate a balloon? Thanks for taking the excitement out of my sons 5th birthday surprise. I won't be going there again!

This place is really good if you live near by. Time to time they put items like chocolate on sale. This place is not a big place like Charlestown big w but if you have any day to day items you can buy from here. Not any me by seeing the crowd visit big w everyday I believe everybody agree with me.

Some of the stuff is very expensive. I was to buy a mobile holder for car for navigation, They had very limited variety (only 2) that too, v exp, one was 29 and other was 44. But just came out of shop and walked to dollar shop, got the similar stuff for 6.5$.
