Very good motel with a decent hotel-like upgrade to the rooms, great bed and new bathrooms.but the drains for shower and basin are way too loud, to the point that you can hear other rooms' bathrooms. Unacceptable.

The Hovell Inn standard Queen room was spacious compared to standard hotels and the park side was a nice view. A verandah is a nice gain, with good restaurant a bonus.
Gym and pools included makes it a great place to stop and relax.

Lovely place to stay, but fridge was warm and my husband only got one egg with his bacon and eggs which cost $22.00

Scenery was nice and relaxing and staff were nice aswell.
The Price is higher than average. Food wasn't the best either. Ribs were overcooked and same with the chips.

Lovely motel in Albury, great for a stop over on the drive to Melbourne. Large rooms with a comfortable bed and roomy bathroom. The restaurant is first class serving divine meals. I had the crumbed lamb cutlets which were cooked perfectly. Plenty of options on the menu and a very nice wine selection.

Superb Motel in a beautiful town,
Quality decor, delightfully comfortable beds, and modern bathrooms, wonderful pool and outdoor furniture, friendly, quick to the helm staff.
The Restaurant delivers tasty, comfort food in a beautiful setting,
Beautiful parkland opposite at The Murray River makes this place a welcome retreat.

Got in late, had no booking but it wasn't a problem. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Big open motel. Room was dark and quiet. Staff were incredibly friendly, food was fabulous. Will stay again.

I went there to eat. The servers are amazing and very helpful. The menu shown online is different to the menu they had at the restaurant, so I couldn't actually eat anything on the menu due to dietary requirements. Ended up just getting drinks, and they have a very fine selection of drinks (including a lot of local offerings). Sweet family atmosphere and very cosy

Easy to access location, good parking under the rooms. Clean Room with a good bed and multiple pillows to choose from. Spa suite was large with a double shower, tv, DVD player and kitchenette. Staff were friendly but not intrusive, pool, spa and sauna were decent and gym was in good condition. Within walking distance of the main street and a lovely park across the road, or 3 blocks from the Botanical gardens. Didn't try the room service or any of the on site catering. Overall I would recommend it to others or stay again another time!

Nice spot. A bit over priced. It's aging a bit but there is a concerted effort to update the place, with new carpet throughout, reasonably new paint job, resonably new bathroom's etc. The beds are excellent, a really good night sleep! There is a bar and restaurant on premise but I didn't use them so can't comment. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The pool is nice and we'll positioned to get all day sun.

My one niggle is the bathrooms, they are new and we'll appointed (love the walk in shower), but the floor tiles are gloss marble which when they are wet are lethally slick. Be careful in the bathrooms!

All in all a well positioned, staffed and appointed Hotel.

Gorgeous hotel loved the rooms and bathroom was very modern and relaxing and quiet. Restaurant food and room service was AMAZING, staff were very friendly and helpful. Only down side why I didn't give 5 stars was the alarm clock in the room blasted us awake at midnight. I wouldn't care myself but my autistic son woke up and I couldn't get him back to sleep until 3am so we weren't as happy as we would be if we all got a good night's sleep but that aside it was a great place I'd return to again

Comfortable and clean but some areas require a spruce up especially carpeted hallway areas with the elevator system groaning with age.
