BEST WESTERN PLUS Hovell Tree Inn

We always choose to stay here, with its convenient location, the comfortable rooms and the great staff. The restaurant is always on par with great food and the happy hour cocktails are a favorite. The staff are all lovely and so very friendly, the service has always been fantastic.

Well isn’t this a gem I try not to give long critique but this place deserves ever piece.
Firstly the staff are amazing Russell, Adam Mikayla and all staff are incredibly professional and so welcoming, the respectful conversation with patrons and enjoying my humour easily gives 5 stars. The bar menu is easily 5 star, the SUPER GREEN SALAD is award quality me being a meat lover had this and was amazed at the flavours 6 stars easily did everything I wanted in a meal taste, flavours, quantity and price big tick.
Well my main meal was a medium rare steak, it doesn’t matter what people say you can make steak chewy or non tasting well NOT HERE steak melted and presentation was just right not over or under done excellent work chef.
I would like to congratulate the owners, for the staff they have recruited. Having owned 3 hospitality business over 25 years i know how hard it is to find quality staff and train them I think I know where they all are.
Lastly I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat I have stayed at a array of places around Australia and this is my choice for accommodation, food professional staff and service.
I apologise now to all the rest of the accomodation on my holiday I have booked into you have a competition here.

The room we stayed in had a constant dripping noise (from within the roof) and was positioned directly beside a set of stairs of which we could hear every footstep of any and every guest. A really noisy hotel. Thankfully we only stayed one night.

Room very average. Little to no maintenance on bathrooms. Took 40 minutes to have a towel brought to the room. Not value for money.

We had a wonderful stay at Best Western Plus Hovell. Unfortunately it was for only one night. This was our fist overnight stay since April because of COVID and we would highly recommend this place. From the moment we stepped inside the door till we left the next morning everything was perfect. The food in the restaurant was very nice & our room exceptional especially the bed. It was soft & comfortable. Everything was clean & tidy. The one negative was that there was no breakfast.
We would stay there again.

Beautiful spot. Great location. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is great and there is a nice spot to sit by the fire and have a nightcap.

Yes it's a few dollars more, but it clean very comfortable, rooms are classy and the food is excellent.

Clean, pleasant, modern and spacious room for a young family at a reasonable price for a stayover. Was a welcome sight after a long day travelling. Would definately stay again.

Excellent location, very close to walking tracks around the Murray River and close to the city centre. Plenty of eateries nearby and the restaurant within the motel is first class. Happy hour at the bar every day from 5pm. What's not to like about that? Nice outdoor area beside the pool to have a drink as well.

Disliked · A couple of machines in the gym where a little out of condition, but nothing to stress about. Didn't go there to use a gym anyway.

Called in for breakfast received excellent service from all staff. Even got some tips of where to visit when talking to the lady in the restaurant. Was even happier when I asked for baked beans as wasn't displayed on the menu. Sitting by the window watching the world go by with the birds visiting the pond for a drink and a bath was just lovely.

What a hidden gem! This is hands down the best place to stay in albury/wodonga. Comfortable rooms that were so quiet you couldn't even tell it's a motel! The food at the restaurant was to die for! Absolutely delicious. Could not fault at all. We will definitely be back. A huge thanks to the staff for there excellent customer service skills!

It was a lovely stay, the rooms were clean and the bed was like heaven to sleep on, room service was on point for a lazy night in. Cant wait to come back

Great place. Room was a nice size and everything is comfortable. The bed is amazing and had a great sleep. The chairs on the balcony are brilliant - a good size so that you could sit and relax and not feel squashed. Breakfast was delicious and filling. All staff were pleasant, friendly and happy to offer suggestions on where to visit. Had heaps of facilities although we didn't use as limited time. Will definitely come back and stay longer.

These Guys looked after our group of 14. Rooms were very spick and sizeable. Dining and bar facilities were very good with a good range of beverages. We had a BBQ in the gardens and the food was excellent. Only one small letdown was maybe the need for more staff at Reception and Bar on a Friday and Saturday night. But Happy Hour was great!

Loved it.perfect place to break the long trip back to Sydney. Had an overnighter in a 1 bedroom spa suite.

It's a lovely place, great for functions and small conventions. Staff are all very helpful and friendly.

Clean large rooms, except ours had no view except a wall. Restaurant has great food. Close to the highway so very handy for an overnight stay.
