Bennetts Head Lookout reviews
54Beautiful lookout high above the water - you gotta see this one! The whales like going there too - oh and the dolphins.
Easy to access with stunning views. The walking track is worth taking. It leads past quiet pools far below the towering cliffs where dolphins can sometimes be seen. Whales are easy to spot during the migration season. Parking is ample along the roadside.
Great views across Wallis Lake and the townships of Forster and Tuncurry.
An even better Whale watching location; we spotted several whale pods on their northern migration on our last visit
Food is very very nice for a takeaway shop maybe best in town.
But it's a little expensive and then you never know it's open or not because of no lighting.
Bennetts Head lookout is an easy and relaxing walk from Foster off road and with just a few steps along the way. Fantastic views, just a very worth while walk and lookout.
Great views north and a good vantage spot for whale watching. There is also a Rotary Walk around the cliff face. All safely fenced down to the huge fans dune that goes to One Mile Beach.
Absolutley Stunning View!
To be enjoyed with the smell of aeroguard in the nostrils however!
Mozzies are ravenous on the path next to the lookout towards one mile beach
Has a great view.great spot for whale migration watching, nursery for dolphins and local turtle makes an appearance if your lucky!
Easy walking between three lookouts overlooking wild ocean-swept cliffs, and leading to a magnificent giant sand dune to roll or slide down.
Wonderful place where you can enjoy great views of the sea and its cliffs. It has a small parking and with a very good access for all public and very good care.
Beautiful lookout and usually pretty easy to park. I've seen some camper vans with tickets, so probably not the best place overnight stops.
Possibly the best vantage point in Forster. A short easy walk takes you to the top of the One Mile Sand Dune.
With the correct gear and experience, weather permitting, and so long as your buddy can make it.this is a great spearfishing location!
Highlight of our weekend away! Amazing walking trail that takes you to the beach! Scenic views all round - highly recommended when in Forster!
