Bennetts Head Lookout reviews
54Great scenic view. No nearby toilets but perhaps its better that way. The trail leads you to the sand dunes
Stunning view from a headland on the edge of Forster giving a clear view of the headlands down the coast. I definitely recommend a visit here when in Forster.
Loved the walk and whale spotting. Pity the Council was over zealous in deterring lovers locks from being pinned to the fences.lol
Windswept coast with a hint of whales - or was it just turbulence out at sea?
A well appointed path leads to scenic splendour. Popular with tourists and locals (including leashed dogs).
Stunning n the different colours of the Ocean is Very Addictive 2 watch. The Dolphins r the Big Bonus
Very pretty. Saw Dolphins and a floating turtle! Don't worry he wasn't dead he dived soon after!
The lookout offers pretty spectacular views across the Tasman Sea.
There is a walking track that leads down to the One mile beach but it's steep.
The walking path runs along the coastline offering pretty amazing views & there are multiple viewing decks along the path.
A great place to visit with plenty of street parking.
Great walk from Forster main beach. Up hill most of the walk, can drive and park nearby though (wheel chair accessible).
Specular sea views. Saw turtles. Take insect repellent as path is overgrown.
Great whale watching spot.
Great views of the Tasman Sea with awe-inspiring cliff faces. Relatively easy walk from Forster town. Must do in Forster or Mid North Coast.
Nice lookout with 3 viewing areas. Easy access, and a short walk between each. Path is well maintained but walk can be quite steep if you do a full loop.
If you want a good stretch whilst walking and seeing the sites, consider the walk from the bridge, past main beach, past the tanks and up to the headland.
Beautiful views and track thousands of steps.
Lovely place. We once saw whale luckily and the walking track leading to one mile beach is so much better than some other lookouts.
I really enjoyed the lookout. It was really hot that day but at this lookout the winds were cold. Will definitely go again
Contrary to most lookouts in the area, this one is effortlessly accessible and the view is incredible too.
A great vantage from which to feel the height of the huge ravine at the edge of the "infinite" Pacific Ocean
Simple walk to reach here, with maximum reward. Paved walkway, benches around half way through, well maintained watch station and unparalleled 360 degree ocean view.
Great lookout with 3 different viewing platforms. I’d certainly take some insect repellant the mosquitoes were crazy.
Very nice view points, be aware this place was extremely windy and blended with sand makes it tough to walk around. Shades and sun tan are a must!
