Excellent food. Went there for breakfast and the standards of food and service certainly lived up to expectations.

Has to be my favourite coffee spot in Sydney. The atmosphere is always great and the coffee is even better.

I've been coming to the BC intermittently over the last few years. Each time, service has been friendly and prompt.
Decor is hard to describe, but there is a Victorian deshabillé/ charm to it (goes with the name, perhaps) - matches the cozy atmosphere.
Coffee has always been excellent, and the food tasty.
Seating is split in two, with the main room and an open air section in the back.

Relaxed ambience, good service and very good coffee!
Is there anything else a coffee shop should aim for?
I'll be back.

A quirky bar in the heart of Manly!

A large cocktail menu with plenty on offer for happy hour (use the stars to pick) in the afternoon with a kitchen that serves up some fantastic meals: D

I popped down the other day after a day at work and they fixed me up with a cold drink to help ease me into a quiet evening. Will definitely be back!

Delicious food, lovely service, good coffee, intimate atmosphere out the back for couples or groups. I've been there a few times for dinner with a group of girls and we love it so much that we keep coming back instead of venturing to new places!

Love this place. Great little brekkie spot with some lovely options. The decor is brilliant, fairly sure the bullet holes are real ;) very airy with a nice little outdoor space. Staff are super friendly, fun and attentive. Would recommend!

I love this place. Great atmosphere (lighting, decor, music etc.) ; great staff (friendly and professional), and for a city worker like myself great for both sides of the commute - quick coffee and brekkie in the morning, and a negroni and pasta to take the edge off in the evening:)

Stylish little cafe and bar. Exposed brickwork and copies of famous paintings add to the character. It has a seperate serving area at the back for functions. Coffee excellent and nice choice of pastries.

They deliver the smoothest blended bean. So inviting to a wonderful start to the day.

A very hip place! Cool vintage style but unpretentious. They appreciate the old, but don't jam it in your face. It's a very casual setting and incredibly comfortable with great coffee and food. There should be more places like this every on the planet. Staff are awesome!

I like this place, beautiful rustic design and feel. Friendly staff, I assume the waitresses are travelers on working visas, which is handy for some of you to know.
The only negative I can come up with is that it is next to the Police Station, and I don't like Police.

Really enjoyed there brunch, well breakfast really. Got in early and chilled in the awesome atmosphere.

Cool eatery! Well deserved 5 starts! Perfect Avo plate, past the avarage lunch time (while other places are close). Promise to come back

Restaurant has good atmosphere and food is alright. I had a terrible experience though, as I found a piece of plastic (5cm long) in my dish. Almost broke a tooth! Management did not even come to apologize and we were refused a replacement dish (a dessert). Bill was 100$ per couple, which I find ridiculous if you serve plastic to customers.

Had the best Osso Buco Ragu with pappardelle last night! Rang and ordered takeaway from the ferry as we crossed the heads and it was ready to collect just as I arrived! Yum!

Whilst the coffee is good, I've found the owner to be very rude on several occasions. Won't be going back.
