Great place for any occasion. One of very few venues that can do it all; breakfast, coffee, lunch, takeaway, cocktails, wine, dinner, snacks, drinks… they’re all over it. Stand-out in Manly hospitality for ages. Brilliant people. Love it.

Having eaten here every Saturday night for the last 4 years I find the Cartel to be one of the best places in Manly. The owners and staff are exceptional.

Had the equivalent of an eggs Benedict. Deliciousness! The charcoal bread was warm, little soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Moist too. Omg, yum! The service was fantastic too - I was asked how the meal was going very shortly after I dug into it and I observed the waitress greet customers in a warm and friendly way. Definitely recommend to others. Only pity is I didn't try the coffee as I'm on a caffeine detox.

Ordered coffee to have here, morning staff made all the takeaway first and told me there is a line when i came in 10 min later. I know, all the people that ordered after me have already got theirs and left. Great coffee, worth the wait. Can you serve us in the order we arrive?

Went to Belgrave as they seemed to have a good selection of vegetarian options. The food was great, team were helpful and friendly, and drink options were good.

Really liked the drinks. In a nutshell: clean, great atmosphere, friendly staff and great food/drinks. Highly recommended.

Really wanted a great meal, nice wine and vibe for an anniversary dinner with my wife. Got all three and great service too. Highly recommended for those who appreciate quality food and wine. Probably be back Tuesday.

Love coming here for breakfast, lunch or dinner whenever I visit Manly. Enjoyed the corn fritters and iced coffee today, the service is also always really lovely! Recommend the mushroom toastada - freaking delicious

Love love love this local little place! Opened for super early breakfast, compact lunch menu and a cosy dinner with great cocktails. The owner can be seen around working with all staff. I wish they had more room to expand as its quite narrow but kind of adds to the cosy feeling so doesn't affect the atmosphere. It's a lovely little place that I will visit again and again. Thank you!

Great place in Manly for a coffee, drink and bite to eat. These guys know what they're doing, great service and cool place.

Quantities are tiny & the quality is clearly not as good as expected - third time we tried, that was the last one.

Food was below average. Ordered a Jaffle and it was extremely dry, they used the crust and it was already fallen apart when they served it, not sure where the cheese was but it wasn’t in my jaffle. A friend ordered a cheese and vegemite jaffle and there was more vegemite than cheese, weird ratio. When asked how the food was we said it was disappointing and nothing was offered to make the experience better. Maybe it was just a bad day but will not be returning.

This may be known as more of a breakfast space, but it expertly transforms in the evenings into a solid bar with a European ambiance. The pasta was great and the wines were well selected.
