15 months awaiting mouldy walls to be removed. No action. Only promises and referral from one to another in the company. No one able to answer questions. Quite disjointed company with irresponsible employees.

Sam was like a breath of fresh air when it came to diagnosing the areas of concern in my house. He brought knowledge, honesty, care, reliability and went above and beyond to rectify the matter.

I highly recommend using bay building.

They took 3 months to respond and complete a simple task of changing a broken appliance.

The details they had on file were incorrect (phone and email) and they didn't bother to follow up with insurance company to rectify these details.

Most definitely will try to get out of a bad review by saying they "cannot locate the claim" as they have in many previous reviews.

Contractors used were quick and professional however. And the lady who finally answered my call after numerous times was quite polite and helpful and hence the 2 stars.

This company is a disgrace. They will not return phone calls. I have had 3 assessors and the work has still not been completed even after 12 months

It took us over 4 months to get a resolution and in the end after numerous stuff ups on the building companies behalf our insurer ended up cash settling us. Trades wouldn't respond to calls after accepting a make safe job on a weekend. Trades would arrive in thongs and didn't take asbestos precautions before testing was undertaken. One of their contractors overloaded a circut in our house causing further damage to the electrics, another trade during demolition damaged rough beams and cut out a structural piece of timber resulting in a whole wall needing replacing. Their estimator couldn't tell the difference between a hollow and solid door and missed other basic things when doing the scope of works/estimate. This does not include all the minor issues we encountered along the way with them.

Builder just turned up drunk at my mother's property and told her she wasn't home when he came round earlier!
She's disabled and doesn't leave the house!

I was absolutely delighted with the professionalism and regular communication from Bay Building staff. They kept me informed from day dot and were always patient and polite. Very easy to deal with. The quality of the work was immaculate and once completed by house looked like it was brand spanking new. Would highly recommend to others and am extremely thankful that I went with Bay, they are definitely the best in the business. Tandem and John Lynn's group were extremely unhelpful and I found Bay Building to be a breath of fresh air that was definitely needed in a difficult time for myself and my family.

If your insurance company allocates bay building group ask for someone else. The only time i have been contacted by them was to pay the excess. Now the excess has been paid three months later the work is still not completed and no one from Bay building is following up. Further more i paid the excess a week after lodging the claim and it took a month for them to accept this was the case.
I have called many times and sent emails and still have not received a response or been able to speak to anyone who knows anything about my case. This is unacceptable. Obviously this money hungry company only cares about payment and not the actual work.
I was told to clean out the room that needs repairs. This has been done, bay building has forced my family and i to live in squalored living conditions.
Bay building is a joke

Disgraceful service. We were charged excess 0f $1300 back in August. After multiple attempts to contact this mob via email.phone calls etc we finally accepted a cash payout from the insurer. Then the only communication we get from this lot is a customer service survey! What a joke of an organisation. If their workmanship is as bad as their back office - run a mile.

Insurance claim with NRMA. They do not respond to emails, or calls. Have had to make multiple complaints to NRMA and still dont get a call back. Apparently you get a rep to manage your claim but all they do is give tradies your number and you have to manage the jobs yourself.
Would give a 0 star if possible. NRA213213860. Give this company a wide berth. Maybe this review will make them notice and actually contact me as I havent been contacted other than to ask for the excess to be paid to them.

We have been trying to get this company to fix our house since mid March. We have had further storms and their make safe is not working and our house has had further flooding. Watching a beautiful home go to rack and ruin is depressing. I call and no one answers. If they answer they blame the insurance company. They have never once contacted us. We have gone to AFCA regarding the insurance company but both are as bad as each other. NRA213196582

3. Very poor workmanship

4. Poor management

I would give this company a minus score if I could. There work is way below standard, There service is disgusting, how they treat people is absolutely sickening.

STAY CLEAR of BAY BUILDING. You will avoid a lot of headaches.

Once remedial work on guttering was done they were in did the repair painted the ceiling and cornice and gone great work no mess cleaned up afterwards

They work work for nrma they only have nrma, s interests in mind when quoting for them they quoted 1600 for a pay out amount when I got 2 independent quotes not much left out off 4000 do not deal with these guys they are crooks

2/12: I had cause to engage with Bay Building again after some repairs needed to be carried out to my home.
As with the first time, the trades assigned were outstanding - and showed a genuine care to ensure a high quality of work done that they were proud of. I am extremely happy with the work done and the whole backend process with Bay Building to ensure the works were completed timeously and to a high standard. There was regular follow-up and they managed my expectations from start to end.
Once again - thank you to Darren, Goran and the whole team. I would have no hesitation in recommending this team.

My experience with Bay Building and Linx Restoration was brilliant. Under trying circumstances during the lock-down period, they were efficient, communicated with me at all times and delivered excellent workmanship. A special shout out to Anja who coordinated all the trades (Darren and Goren) who themselves went above and beyond.
Would have no hesitation in using Bay again should the need arise or recommending them.

My recent experience has been nothing short of appalling. 24 phone calls from 4 different company's to perform unnecessary work, cancelled appointment times and no communication. Correspondence that doesn't make sense, no idea of COVID - 19 safety plan. Opted for the Insurance claim paid out by the company rather than use Bay Building! Had to write to CEO to out the issues.

We had a great experience with Bay Building. They did a great job, were prompt and showed up when they said they would.
The thing that stood out for us though was that they were so accommodating with our kids who were full of curiosity. The plasterers and painters were really friendly and patient with our busy household.
We'll definitely use them again.

I recently had an insurance claim with Bay. I found them to be professional from start to finish making the whole experience as smooth as could be. Supervisors were knowledgeable and keep me posted at every juncture.
